I remember suggesting to someone on this sub that she deflects the question if she is ever asked about her history - which was promiescous -, not lie about it, only deflect the question. Next thing I know I was downvoted to hell and everyone and their mother called me names. Seeing the "lie" suggestion on this post feels like victory of some sorts haha.

He doesn’t have time anymore. I don't understand. Is this some sort of getting back at him, to think that he is going to have a bad time finding a partner while she is not going to. I am sorry but I don't see how this is a healthy thing to do, especially when we don't know why he broke it off. It could be over disagreement about future goals which is no one's fault.

I didn't love the show as a whole. In fact, I could not bring myself to watch any further than season 4 because of how I hated the main characters. I loved everything else about Gilmore Girls other than Rory and Lorelai. - The dialogue, secondary characters, the setting, the warm community and everything in between. - but I could not bring myself to root for the protagonist anymore, so I quit the show and I am more happy i did after I read plot of the remaining seasons.

------Spoiler------- When Lorelai left that teacher guy the day of their wedding It was confirmed that she was a mess. I was very uncomfortable watching that show since these Gilmore chicks give the vibe of being really nice people, yet they reeked havoc wherever they laid foot. I hated them with passion, but loved everything else about the show.

Being optimally healthy will get your endocrine system to work at it's full potential, which will get your hormones flowing in the right amount at the right time. That will help with femininity. I have personally seen women grow more feminine and for some of them, I couldn't believe that they were the same person, so I know it's possible. They tricky part though, you will not be able to surpass what your genes allow, so there is a cap to what you can expect. Apart from femininity. developing hea…

I'm not sure that I fully get you. A woman can do something awful to me and if someone called her clever for the awful things she does, I'll be mad. I think alpha widowhood has to do more with thinking that you'll never do better than your ex, and that no one else can be equal to him let alone be better than him. Can you relate to that OP?

There are plenty of ways you can tell him about what's worrying you directly, but even in the cases of it working initially, him doing what you told him to do will put you in a place of power again, and he'll be really confused in the times you resist his leadership or be annoyed by it, which will make him revert back to his old ways. I believe that it has to come naturally. Unfortunately your role in that can be pretty limited. I say, encourage him to go to the gym if he isn't doing that alread…

On the biological front, I think that what you described has to do more with Oxytocin and pair bonding. It's something like when you don't don't see a sibling or a close friend for a long time then once you set next to each other, it's like you have not been separated for a day. It's the same with an ex only i'd suppose that it would be stronger. The remnants of the old connection are still there, so they get comfortable quite fast and then try to assume their captain position again.

A history of an event is always a risk factor for its recurrence. That being said, My advice is to give it a go while putting very little hope in it and while being very careful. This already has a low chance of working out because of the history, so don't be worried about how "being careful" is going to put him off. He is out unless he redeems himself.

Most men are what you described, some are worse, some are better. I say that if you are one of the better women, you will catch the eyes of a better man. since both are rare breeds. I suggest that you take nun mode for a while instead and improve every aspect of yourself (femininity, looks, health and whatnot) and take a shot at it again. If you end up in a good relationship then great! If you don't then you have ended up with an improved self which is great too. Best of luck.
/r/RedPillWomen28/06/19 01:38 PM

Let's assume that 3 out of 4 men will get worse or will stay the same. So in 3 out of 4 times your patience and efforts with the man will be fruitless. The risk is big enough that it should make you run at the sight of the first red flag.

To show that I know women who married younger who had good marriages (despite the inconveniences) because their men were responsible. Before you think that I have a psychological disorder for even thinking that any good word can be said about guys who marry girls aged 15 years, I'll remind you that doing that is considered normal in many current civilized cultures. Still, I don't think it's a good idea.

My advice was the last 2 lines. I obviously won't advice a 15 year old in the west to marry a 25 year old man. This is not a good advice to women where I live either because the norms have changed.

I live in a traditional country, my dad and all of my uncles (5 of them) married women aged less than 20, two of them married girls aged 15. All are still married into their 60s and 70s or until they passed away. The catch is, my dad and uncles were way older than their wives with an average of 10 years difference. I personally think that the main problem with early marriages is that the boy is yet to become a man. Finances also play a big role. The girl's age is not that big of a factor. So I t…

My advice is: first, monk mode for about 4 months, let everything calm down. Second, let other men try to impress you even if you are 100% sure they are not better than your ex. Chances are, someone will eventually catch your eye, which will make you forget about the ex.

I don't think that getting older hinders our ability to love that much. But I think that a high n count can do that. This is merely my observation and analysis. Having sex is a big deal to our minds. Once you have sex with someone your subconscious goes: Here, I have surrendered myself to this man. I have given him the most precious thing of all, myself. And I'll give him more because he's going to take care of me. Now if this was a hookup, you will feel used and you will be really disappointed …

I feel like she was deeply insecure in some ways. With BPD you don't "feel" that the woman is insecure in some ways, There's not a stronger show of insecurity than a BPD woman. In fact, take a regular woman then add triple the insecurities then you have a BPD woman.
/r/TheRedPill05/05/19 09:53 PM

What you described can also be a psychopath, some differences so that you know what you're dealing with. BPD women are extremely insecure, they feel extreme vulnerability and weakness all the time. The moment they turn into ruthless beings is the moment they feel cornered and feel the need to be so to survive. Just like when you trap a cat into a corner. On the other hand, psychopaths are calm and collected, they don't have the breakdowns that a BPD would have. Psychopaths are perfect. They don'…

Gonna put somethings into perspective so you hopefully know what you should do. You should know that a relationship must serve both of your interests, and that includes yours. A relationship that hurts or has the potential to hurt more than benefit you isn't a viable one. The thing is, a woman will be highly dependent on the man in guarding her interests, so she must only accept dependable ones. Can you depend on someone who has his life heavily dictated by somebody else, a woman, that doesn't p…

The problem might reoccur so I'm leaving my opinion just in case. It might help. I think that he's feeling that he's not getting rewarded enough for what he does. That could be because he's desensitized to what he already has (A life that's put together, loving wife and kids), or because he's dealing with some kind of depression, or he's being over stressed at work to the point that his efforts are exceeding the rewards. I think it's the latter. Even if it's his issue to deal with, try to figure…

Turned out he's the slow one. If I ask someone obvious questions it is a clear sign that i'm making up excuses to spend time with him. There's also the light flirting to make it more obvious. I always move on with my life in case it's not picked up because he's either not interested, shy or in your case, clueless.

I'd say playing dump is the way to go, that way he's way more likely to know that something is up and act on it if he's interested. In case he's not interested or is very oblivious / shy then she's better off moving on.

Women are hypergamous, men are not. A man can do quite a lot with another woman while still genuinely preferring his SO. A woman cannot go very far with another man except at the expense of her desire for her SO. Exactly

I'm a bit biased about this but I don't see that there should be anything to be done about men's polygamy. I think that there are 3 main things that give polygamy a negative outlook, which are: 1- "If he loves another one then he is not going to love me as he used to". This point has been discussed heavily here so it's known that a man can love and care for all the women on earth simultaneously. It's unlike the female nature where she cares only about the best man available. 2- His resources are…

Answering here is a way for me to get my experience tested and improve my ideology. If I comment and then receive a negative feedback or a valid counter argument then it's a sign that maybe I should reconsider this idea. If i receive positive feedback or agreements from other members then it's a sign that this idea might be cool. posting here made a lot of the tiny holes in my theorem more visible.

If you accept it instead of worrying and trying to solve his problems, you might enjoy him again. I think it's more about him neglecting her and not appreciating her efforts rather than her failing at solving his problems. I don't personally consider limited resources to be an absolute contraindication to having a relationship. Though I consider bad moral values and flawed personalities to be so. What I mean is. I can picture myself having a humble lifestyle as long as I'm with a man who treats me right (In an RP manner of course). An honest question. Why does this have to be so delicate and complicated? Shouldn't an obvious flirt or two be sufficient in showing your interest without having to awkwardly join 3 guys on a trip, risking unexpected and unwanted things happening? You are 30 with a child and you live in a traditional country. I assume that you already know if you divorce, people will automatically blame you for it and think that you are insufferable. Well, stress testing a man is only indicated if there were no real life tests as per my guidelines lol. I don't consider them to be malicious. One can say that your man passed life's shit tests. Although what I want to get to is. If a man had the arms, the face, the posture and the air of mastery though he flunks the stress tests. will he qualify still? Will there be butterflies? Also, if he doesn't have the arms etc. but he passes the test, will he be disqualified?

What I'm going to advice here looks good hypothetically but I don't know about it's practical merit. Try to picture the first wife more as a sister and less as a competitor. First of all what I'm going to tell you is exclusively my opinion which I have extracted from my experience. And I don't consider myself an expert on these matters. Cultural/ethnic factors do play a rule in what someone prefers. There are also personal preferences. Health and femininity are the two main qualities that unconsc…

A method that is kinda weird but it will help you have an idea. gather the pictures of 20 to 30 women randomly - Preferably not celebrities - and give each of them a mark out of 5 or 10. Then sort the 9s in a group and the 8s in another group and so forth. Now bring your picture along and by comparing it to the pictures of women in each group you will have a clearer idea on which of the groups you belong. This is kinda blegh I know but it works!

Maybe because the requirements you're trying to fulfill are people's requirements. This is impossible to do so you'll never be satisfied. That's a quite delicate and it's getting very complicated. I'll point out that this is my point of view and I'm not advising anyone to go by it. I have a rule here that includes all forms of authority. Be it a father, a husband or the law. It goes like this: If authority asks or demands that I do something there are going to be four cases. 1- I know it's for good and I submit to it 2- I don't know if it's for good and I submit to it 3- I think that it's 90% not for good and I submit to it 4- I b…

I find this very interesting. My perspective as a teacher in the U.S. is that most teachers work very hard for very little pay and respect It gets rational when you realise that Libya is one of the top 10 countries when it comes to oil reserve while having only a population of about 7 million people. We can have a life standard that's better than the Qatari or UAE one. Although, the way I look at it, our government ( back when we had one) decided to pamper us by employing everyone (qualified or …

are you married yet? if not, have your parents suggested any possible husbands to you? No. And no, at least not seriously, my mother sometimes tells me that she can convinces one of my aunts into making her son propose to me but I decline. you said that almost everyone is a virgin until marriage, what would happen if it came out that a woman or man was not a virgin? would they still be able to find a spouse? That's the equivalent to killing them socially. The woman will have to face much bigger …

there's an oversaturation of teachers rather than the opposite. That's why most teachers don't work. That being said, the quality of the educating staff is very low even though the curriculum is decent. Also, homeschooling isn't common.

do parents usually do the match-making for their children? Yes. My grandmother chose my mother for my father lol (My granny had a great eye) but it's happening less and less in the recent years. In Islamic law the bride and the groom have the final say in accepting or declining the other one but some families forces their offsprings into marrying someone nonetheless. are the partners usually chosen based on their financial standing? something else? It depends. to each their preference. This kind…

what is the average age gap in a marriage there? does it vary depending on the social status of the family? the average I'd say about 5-7 years. The age gap between my parents was 10 good years. It has nothing to do with the social status of the family but more to the basic idea here that women find older men more mature and established. Lesser age gaps are common as well. what percentage of marriages would you say are polygamous? About 1%. maybe less. do many women refuse to enter into polygamo…

Just to clarify about polygamy, this means men can have multiple wives only right? Not that women can be with multiple husbands? Right. The limit is set to four though. In that case if you're rich enough, why wouldn't you have multiple wives? The main reason is because polygamy is looked down upon by society in general even though it's permitted. Anyhow. Some men still go through that route.

Quote from u/girlwithabike If it never comes up and you never bring it up, then it's not malicious or a problem. Anyhow. Unlike the case of lying by omission, in the case i describe the second party is being told by the first party that they're omitting info. There's no cheating here. The second party is left free to deal with this action of omitting info as they please.

The man is expected to fulfill all marriage and life's expenses. That being said. most families (the woman's family) request that the man has a fully furnished house or apartment and a car. they won't let their daughter be married for anything less. Add to that the fact the he has to pay mahr which is a payment made by the man to the woman. It can go from almost nothing to the infinity but the woman's family request large sums most of the times. Mahr is a religious thing that must be done. also …

If I asked a man if he had been married before and he told me "It's personal and I don't feel comfortable sharing it" That's where we're different. I'll think that it's none of my business and move on. I'll assess if he is honest and trustworthy over matters that do impact me like by asking if he is currently married or not lol. I wouldn't appreciate him evading that.

I'd think n count certainly helps determine qualification for lifelong devotion. Repeated past bad habits help predict a risky future. I'll admit that it does help, but 90% of the decision should be based upon the present since that what matters. What I mean is that you'll not even have to ask a currently promiscuous girl about her n count since her promiscuity is going to be obvious in one way or another. Writing this just from the perspective of what she 'deserves' is pretty telling. What abou…

If it comes up and you evade it, you are treating him as though he's too dumb to make an educated guess. You are telling him that you don't trust him to be fair to you with the information you are providing. You are telling him that you believe he's too weak to handle the truth. You are telling him that you do not respect him enough to allow him to make his own decisions with the full set of information that he requested What he should get from my response is that it's something negative, person…

I had my share of downvotes today but I need to mumble this up. Playing games, evading the question, lying, justifying ... all these things will only work on a weak man. If you want a strong man, trust him to handle the conversation with strength, even if you don't like the outcome. You don't want the man on whom the tricks work. I wouldn't consider evading the question to be equivalent to the others as a malicious manner to handle this issue. His strength shouldn't be tested over meaningless th…

Can you really think of nothing? Did you even try? I can think of a few. Being open, fully open with someone about the bad and the good can create a connection and closeness that can have many benefits- mentally feeling safe with them, feeling bonded to them and trusting them enough to be open in the future, etc. Maybe he wants to know to understand you better, to help him learn to communicate with you better, to know your personality type better, etc. I agree with you on that it would lead to a…

I think you will find that relationships are better when a) both parties have accepted the unpleasant parts of themselves and their past, and b) both parties are willing to discuss those parts, especially if the other is curious. I find it acceptable and wearing it hasn't caused me much trouble as far as i can recall except for when the weather gets really hot. 2) Are you still religious (specifically, Muslim) after being exposed to extremism? Yes, because as you described it, "extremism" has a lot less to do with the regular muslim's belief than you'd think. 3) Do you believe Islam as a religion is compatible with Western values of indivi…

It can be, but that wasn't my point. My point was that openness and honesty about your past does determine emotional intimacy. I don't know about openness since my belief is some privacy for both parties is way healthier than total openness. Honesty on the other hand is crucial but as you can see, keeping silent is not lying. it's a lack of total openness yes but it's not dishonesty.

Ignoring anyone is rude, much more someone you supposedly love and have committed yourself to. Overall ignoring is rude. But it remains a right for us even with those who we submit to to keep personal things personal. Be it a question or a request in anything else and I should wholeheartedly submit to it. Maybe he has other reasons for wanting to know. Whatever the intention the result remains the same.

because deep emotional intimacy and lifelong devotion are not requirements for a decent employer-employee relationship. The n count isn't a function that determines qualification for deep emotional intimacy and lifelong devotion as well. you should base if she deserves lifelong devotion over parameters that are in the present, not the past. Of course. And I am free to leave her. If you're to leave her over just that, while being a good SO overall. she might have been better off without you in th…

People who are unfulfilled in their relationships will seek new partners. Period. Correct. Although you must keep in mind the polygamous nature of men where a man is capable of seeking another companionship besides the one he has already got. that's why men can't keep it platonic most of the time because they are capable of having multiple romantic interests. unlike the woman.

Try to keep an open mind with me and not get angry over this. I am going to be very blunt here. Asking about past mistakes can never lead to anything good. There you have a very good employee that you only employed after you made sure he is very qualified for the job, and he does the job very well. What you don't know is that he stole a car or two when he was 17. Knowing that adds nothing to the fact that he's good for the job but a very little number of employers will be comfortable with that. …

To what extent is it true that Gaddafi had succeeded in promoting egalitarianism and women's emancipation? Gaddafi in general didn't really force his ideologies between people or at least he didn't in the time i was present. As a result they were very unpopular, and the mainstream ideology even in Gaddafi's era was the islamic one. for example, Gaddafi spoke about how the hijab isn't necessary and tried to convince people that it is not even from the Islamic law, people didn't listen to him and …

In case your n count is anywhere beyond 0, this is a very good place to apply the STFU as well. Ignore his question and make it obvious that you don't want to talk about it. If he insists tell him something in the context of "It's in the past and if it was to have any effect on me you would have seen it already". Of course he will have suspicions because of this response but it's better than knowing the exact details.

That we have a shelf life of about 10 years? 10 years to find a quality man, 10 more for being valuable sexually. But in my opinion once you have a good marriage and discover motherhood none of this will matter anymore.

Think of the closeness in friendship thing as a spectrum where "our relationship goes nowhere beyond formal greetings" is not being very close and "we are comfortable sleeping in the same bed" (as the case with /u/happysoutherner in the other comment) is being very close. In short, the more comfortable you are with the person the more close they are to you. And my theory states that you if let a man be very comfortable with you he is going to develop romantic feelings eventually.

I'd take him sleeping on the same bed with you as sign of interest from his side since men generally don't like sharing their beds with their friends or even family members. But as you can see I'm a bit biased when it comes to this matter so let us hear from other community members.

First of all i don't know what is RPW's take on this but I believe a man should be capable of aiding his wife with emotional issues even if they seemed ridiculous or exaggerated to him. This might not sound politically correct to a lot of you but i believe that the way a man should treat his wife must not be very different from the way he treats his children, as both are very precious lives that need protection. Now if you agree with me on that, what should a man tell his 5 year son old who come…
