This leads to them feeling like the guy didn’t really like them as a real friend, once he reveals his true romantic feelings. You're right, i think he started getting popular 7-8 years ago so I just rounded up to 10, but the leak was like 5 years ago. Regardless, pretty sad situation. You can see from the pictures of him that he got sent into a spiral after that, and now he doesn't do any projects with romance, only action (not sure if thats a personal choice or not)

The only pick-me I really know of is Pearl, and she's an obvious grifter. I can't really say how they look on average. Younger women are becoming more liberal while younger men are becoming more conservative and often have more misogysnistic opinions than older men. So younger women will either choose to remain single or pursue older men. It might be a stretch to call it the norm, but I do think we are going to see the average age gap in marriages increase

Option one, hands down. Conventually attractive people get more respect in general, and just being attractive enough to most women will allow you to get your foot in the door to let your personality shine. Two factors imo. Video games require most of your focus and attention and take it away from her. A guy can get drunk/high then go back to giving her attention. The 2nd is that the men you are describing that women make excuses for are usually masculine and often carry a decent amount of social cloat.
