Not when you act like this, no.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/05/24 03:19 PM

I don't think any of those things are mutually exclusive. I'm sure you just used the word "respect" so often in the posts as a pure hypothetical.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/05/24 02:15 PM

Can we assume then that you're likely to celebrate women? What does that even mean?
/r/PurplePillDebate02/05/24 08:13 AM

Because you're here looking for recognition for it. You seem like you're building a case for why women HAVE to respect you, presumably (from our earlier conversation) so you can convince either yourself or your sisters that actually, you're a really great guy. Then, you can justify disregarding their comments because people online think you're such a wonderful ally. Then you can whip out your phone the next time they make a comment concerning your behavior, and throw comments from a women's subr…

I see it like this. It's the rule of cool. It's the idea that any man who must say he's the king, is no king. Whoever insists that they're really very cool, is probably not as cool as they're saying. An ally isn't going to walk around announcing themselves as an ally. It isn't a title with a list of responsibilities. It's a mindset, a perspective, an understanding of the world. From there, one's actions will reflect that understanding, because the action doesn't require conscious thought anymore…

XD ho boy, I wish understanding people were that easy. And no, bud. They can't. At least not as quickly, easily, or consistently as you're supposing. It's easy to say you can just watch someone and tell, but what does that practically mean? Your position is simplistic. It assumes that people are caricatures of themselves who have to read out their motivations and programming in real time. Most people consider themselves good. Many are not. Often, it just depends. The overlap between those who th…

Hey dude, just responding after I went through all the material. Some points: A. This was great; I tried my best to counter the points you made, and tbh, I was simply incorrect about the rates of sexual violence between the sexes. A small consolation is that men still seem higher on these metrics, but it is nowhere near as much of a disparity as I was claiming. Thank you for calling me on something that was legitimately not okay. B. I came out swinging against the original commenter from another…

All women? All women are snakes? That's the point that everyone agrees with here? That's what's being upvoted? Shameful bigotry. You dishonor yourselves. I'll say it again. Get help.

But they are credentials. Not in cultural or gender studies, btw. I think this article will suffice to lay out the issues with the problems with the grievance studies. https://slate.com/technology/2018/10/grievance-studies-hoax-not-academic-scandal.html

Oh wow, I didn't realize they had used a different definition for rape. It makes sense then, although men are still higher perpetrators. They also tend to perpetrate more on younger victims, and generally do so earlier, and under greater threat of violence. I wonder what happens when we include the demographic information from prisons... still, great points, sexual assault doesn't discriminate. Excellent point. Is there proof that feminists were the ones pushing that narrative? 🤔 I'd imagine tha…

🤣 I'm not a woman, bud. Your assumptions are showing. Probably tuck those back in. And idk, man? Decades of conditioning and ingrained gender norms? Being the ones saddled with the physical and financial responsibility of childcare? Of pregnancy? The litany of stories of dead beat dads who don't pay anything in child support? You sound jaded, bud. And I don't think a core topic to feminists theory is getting money from men. Like, wtf?

In the same way a doctor is biased toward medicine, sure? XD I only studied psychology and sociology academically for years, but you're right, wtf do I know. XD I'm clearly biased. As opposed to you, who doesn't work in the field, didn't get a degree in an analogous field, and never had to write papers on these topics. Absolute idiocy. I'll take 1 source with a side of fries. I have the assumed position. Burden of proof is on you to disprove the established narrative. https://www.marriage.com/ad…

XD I'm a dude, bud, but that's a very interesting set of assumptions you have there. Did you grow them yourself, or did others give them to you? I'm not the one here saying all men are bad. The guy I'm replying to is the one saying all women are snakes. Go ahead and downvote. I've seen what makes you guys cheer. Can't come up with anything? XD bud, I gave you specific claims like pregnancy deaths. Engage with anything I said, and we can have a conversation, but to brush it off is just ignorant.

That sounds very wrong. I'm a DV counselor, and those numbers do not seem accurate at all. Women do not rape men as often as men rape women, nor do they rape men as often as men rape men. Women do not cheat more than men. Stats show that women cheat more now than in the past, but it is still less than men. The dv statistics are simply wrong. Full stop. That does not bear out in any of the research I've done or training I've received. I'll need to see some sources.

So you're saying women should have empathy for men in the same breath you're saying you don't have any empathy for women? Do you see how hypocritical that is? You hate the object of your own desire, bud. How truly sad. Not in a mean way. I feel very bad for you. And women don't need men. Men don't need women. We both work. We both have careers. We can both adopt. We choose to be with one another. That's the deal, man. Do you just want someone to be with you because they "need" something from you…

You'd rather hate women than stick up for them is the point I think you were trying to make. A. That's fucked bud, nuance is important. Women are just people, and they don't have a monopoly on being shittt. B. Do you think the main reason Women divorce men is because of the money? You can look up data on the reported reasons for divorce. It's usually not money, as often, women and men both take a cut to their income vs staying together. And even so, I don't think women gold dig as often as men c…

No. They objectively don't. We have statistics showing that women do all of those things at significantly lower rates. Look up the numbers man. Ok, then you're just a woman hater that's what you are and that's sad. See what I did there? I can just call you names too, but of the two of us, I'm the one who's said that not all men are bad. You're the one who has the unnuanced position that women are snakes. Looks to me like you're the one painting with one color here.

XD you sound like an incel. By the numbers, men perpetrate way more sex crimes than women, they cheat more, they commit intimate partner violence WAY more. Do you know the leading cause of death for pregnant women? It's being killed by their partners. Not all men are bad, but you should be more careful who you call snakes. We're not so great either, and instead of having a pity party, try being a better guy. Also, is damn; a dam is an edifice to block the flow of water.
