As a man, this checks out as the bare minimum. If you're not worth someone's time, you're not worth someone's time, just make yourself worth their time. Simple as. All the things u/xpinkrainbowsx said are literally bare minimum standards. Can we feed ourselves/family and live a decent life on what we have? Are you fairly stable? Are you not addicted to something psychologically corrosive? You're not a political extremist who thinks the holocaust never happened but it should have? You're not lite…

Did you even read my reply? I know of the times I've put myself in a situation where that can happen, it hasn't been a particularly low rate; I just make a point of avoiding potentially compromising situations. Most of my attractive male friends also have plenty to share about extremely pushy women who made them extremely uncomfortable by making advances on them purely due to their looks as well, not dissimilar to mine. It's a very common experience among men, even if it's a fairly small portion…

Fair point. I think men and women generally (broadly) tend to use social media for different reasons. People who post selfies for the sake of validation and care about likes and stuff, are usually narcissistic validation seekers I want nothing to do with, and social media rewards that behavior more in women/girls and pushes them into that mindset unfortunately moreso than it does with males. Anyone who is in that group, is usually not worth your time in the first place. Plenty of dudes are like …

Let me rephrase: Most men don't give a flying fuck about "spreading their seed". That's just you and your bubble (and similar bubbles).

Don't shift the goal posts, the question was never about whether being attractive inspires women to act towards an LTR but to act in general, and the answer is, it often does, depending on the woman and the situation.. which is the obvious answer, because women are not a hive mind, just like men, all people are individuals whose experiences as men/women may shape their personality to a degree but ultimately are individuals with brains that can make independent decisions for themselves. Suggestin…

It feels really good every time someone says that last line to me considering I have been raped, beaten, drugged, gaslit, forced out on the street, and permanently psychologically ruined by abusive relationships and statistically we are surprisingly likely to be abused at comparable rates, and at the very least rates that directly indicate that "most heterosexual men will never know" is far from reality.

The fear aspect is one I've never understood. I'm statistically more likely to be the victim of a violent crime at night than a woman (actually men have almost double the chance of being violently victimized at random in some cases: https://www.cbs.nl/en-gb/news/2018/51/fewer-women-than-men-fall-victim-to-violence ), yet it's always women who are scared of taking the bus home at night. I'm statistically more likely to be killed in a confrontation with law enforcement, yet it's always women I fin…

yeah I guess, I don't really interact with those guys and kinda forget they exist. they're the bottom barrel of trash who will never actually "spread his seed" in the first place. that's not a reflection of men or men's "biological purpose", that's a reflection of people who voluntarily secluded themselves in communities full of brain rot

No, as a man it doesn't make sense from my perspective either. Not all men are degenerate sex-obsessed people who care so much about having sex with everything in sight. Actually, not even most. Myself and pretty much most of the people I talk to just fuck when the opportunity arises and when we're feeling like it. That obsessive "biological" bullshit puts you in the lowest common denominator my guy.

Adopting makes sense, being a sperm donor doesn't get you a family. As it is for me and most other dudes I know who have talked about this with me, it's about actually raising someone and being there for someone as a father, not some bullshit about genetics and making up half the child. Who cares whether the kid looks like you? If that's the part you care about, you're a terrible parent to be.

Yeah, I do not think anyone should ever be forced to have a baby. It's actually my opinion that people should avoid having a baby in general, and that creating more humans is one of the single most evil things you can ever do to somebody (the human being created), ESPECIALLY if they are unplanned and will be born into a situation where there life will not be good or they will be seen as a burden. We should make abortions as accessible as possible and advertise that people should get them as it i…

I genuinely agree with this take. I don't sleep with people I wouldn't be okay with handling an unexpected baby with even though I am very cautious with contraception since the risk is there. If you choose to take risks without being ready for the consequences, you're just... fucking STUPID. That being said - it's not worth punishing the unintended children for those stupid mistakes and having to be raised by people of that extremely limited caliber, so birth control should be free, and we shoul…

I'm 20 too lol, most people I know who use snapchat are generally unredeemably uninteresting people in my experience, or I just find them irritating. Obviously opening snapchat doesn't just instantly make you less interesting, but it markets directly to narcissistic people and validation seekers, and people with not much to say or keep themselves entertained with by learning and actually thinking instead of scrolling and swiping endlessly on snap and insta. I quit social media and noticed that I…

In my experience yes, and I've even had a couple of women in the past be extremely pushy to the point where I have to physically shove someone off me and explain that they ask for consent first or get the fuck out of my life and never hear from me again and that just allowing them into my home doesn't mean I want to fuck them, which even when worded extremely nice seemed strangely confusing to one person in particular who genuinely believed that dudes just always want to bone which is ridiculous…

Not in my experience lol, sure my personality is what gets most of my LTRs but I have had nights where I am boring as a fucking boulder and feel cornered by an extremely pressure-y woman just for being a fairly attractive, tall and fit guy. Feels extremely uncomfortable and it usually results in me explaining why I have absolutely zero interest and they need to ask for consent first or fuck right off out of my life, usually worded somewhat nicer but not always. Only happened a couple times thoug…

I feel like making your target audience people who use social media as their main form of communication is a sure fire way to make sure your partner is someone who is fully social media brainwormed, no? Why would someone want someone like that?

Yeah. There's just something I find hot about pulling on clothes, getting under them with my hands, ripping them off, etc during the act itself rather than just beforehand. Somehow it just makes it feel more spontaneous and primal to me and my partner agrees. And for her when she was more self conscious at the start of our relationship it made it easier for her, cuz by the time I would actually pull it above her chest she didn't care anymore and was into it. Win/win.

Depends. I'm a zoomer, I've never had any problems finding relationships or sex, don't think I've been single for more than a month at a time over the last 6 years, but to me sex is 100% optional and it has caused problems in relationships where I find someone attractive but just cannot be bothered to fuck because I have other shit to do and it has not effected my view of the person or connection to the person at all, and the moment we get back to it it's fine. I would happily engage in a 100% s…

I used to not understand this one, but I've resorted to it with my gf out of desperation. It does not feel good to reduce yourself to a sexual reward and a transactional prostitute who trades sex for services, but I can't knock it too much because I have on one occasion done a variation of it. Still gross, just I acknowledge that there is no difference between me doing it and a woman doing it so if I think doing it once out of desperation doesn't reflect on my character it also doesn't on anyone…

Why are you pretending any of these things are a woman thing though? I'm a fairly healthy dude in my 20s with a high sex drive and... I'm guilty of telling my partner I'm tired and then staying up all night.. cuz sometimes I don't have the energy or will to do something and am tired but then stay up for a few hours because I'm not in the mood to fall asleep either. I'm guilty of telling my partner I'm not in the mood and then jacking it... cuz sometimes I'm just not interested in having actual s…

Ah okay, yeah I see. I wasn't asking you to make yourself feel attracted to them. It's weird for me because while I'm not ace, I don't really ever experience that sort of "primitive part of my brain" signalling anything about mating to me, ever, nor is anything related to the first thing I see when I see someone pretty much ever related to attractiveness or whether I'd want to bone. It feels gross to me and genuinely makes me feel uncomfortable to think about the fact that there are people who w…

....do people actually think about other people in terms of "mating"? jesus, that's fucked. I've never understood this, why turn people into sex objects while calling them retarded at the same time when seeing them, instead of like... actually finding out about who the person is before jumping to conclusions about them being retarded and thinking about boning them or not?
/r/PurplePillDebate22/04/22 02:46 PM

It is not, because you are not obligated to have sex with your partner regardless of whether they get fat, and if they force you to even if you don't want to, that is rape and is already considered rape. Just say no if you don't find them attractive anymore, and leave them if its an issue. If they then force you to, that is indeed rape.
