Not tricky at all, because in the texts where he was leaning away from wanting to do it, she'd fire back and tell him it's the only way. Not to mention, the texts where he is just saying how are you and she immediately jumped to the subject of him killing himself. The court didn't mandate a trial because they think she'll be acquitted...they were very clear on their stance.
