This is also a basic psych concept. People like people who ask for help/ask for favors. A “hack” to make friends/appear as a warm person is to ask people for favors/help/etc.

Wow this has happened/been insinuated to me. Took graduating from Harvard undergrad to realize that it doesn’t matter Bc I never interact w men w/o degrees anyway.

It hurts but ladies don’t stick your head in the sand! This is my response to the lvm muh equality split the bill discussion that was going down yesterday. Men who want you will sacrifice for you and show you that they’re a good partner who can provide. Men who don’t care won’t. I’ve never heard a peep about not wanting to pay for dinner from a guy who wanted to be with me and valued me. It’s the guys who stringed me along, didn’t answer texts, and left me confused who ALSO didn’t pay for dinner…

A man should care about me and want to be with me enough that I am worth spending decent money on. If it’s important to me, he should be happy to get me a nice and valuable ring because he wants me to be happy and see his commitment. It makes me sad to see pickmes getting married to guys who don’t value them at all. If he won’t sacrifice for you then what’s the point.

If he wanted to ask you out, he would. If he wanted to commit to you, he would. If he wanted to marry you, he would. This is no blight on you- you don’t have to convince him you’re what he wants by trying harder. But mixed signals from a man aren’t actually mixed signals. So many women ignore this and stick their head in the sand because it’s painful. You don’t need clarity or closure. You have it sis. Read the writing on the wall.

Sometimes sticking to my values and refusing bad treatment is tough, since pick me behavior is rewarded (on a shallow level). But I think of my future daughters and all the other women out there and how I want us all to have a better world, where men can’t skate by on 0 effort. It renews my energy. I’m not just doing this for my own sake, but so men everywhere can’t get away w their bullshit. Hold them accountable. Don’t give in. Either they’ll change, or they’ll sink.

I agree! We are talking actionable behaviors, mindsets and strategies here. I think some discussion/calling out of bad men behaviors is ok but I see a lot of that and less actual strategy discussed lately.

One important HVW trait I’ve observed is valuing your friendships and not ditching those relationships when you find a new partner. My pickmeisha friends tend to become totally absorbed w their new boyf and ignore texts/hanging out for months. Then, lo and behold, the relationship isn’t sustainable and they break up and come crawling back to the friends they ignored for months. HVW know the value of friendships and in not letting your life be eclipsed by your relationship.

I think men hate admitting when they’re intimidated by women to the point where they turn fear and discomfort into irritation and rage as a defense.

One of the best things about finding fds: reassurance that alllllll the shitty things men do 1) aren’t caused by women 2) aren’t women’s jobs to clean up after! Turns out you can separate yourself from the stress and bullshjt that comes with being a human trashcan (or dating one). Literally not your job. I’m glad I’m not a man. They really make their own lives harder and more miserable and lowly for no reason and so many women spend their lives cleaning up and feeling responsible. Not anymore.

I look for guys who aren’t invested in social media Bc I personally find it shallow and pointless and that men are terrible at using it healthily (not stalking porn stars, culturing political extremism, hitting up random girls, etc). SM is a huge timesuck and not a legit interest or productive way to foster happiness/skill/value in your life IMO.

Same!!! Wow, who knew how much energy is wasted creating a false online persona/keeping up with the morons of the world!

If he’s on social than he should be transparent about you being in his life. He should be proud of you. It’s a major red flag if a guy who’s active on SM doesn’t want to show you off/hides your relationship. That said, you shouldn’t post him until you’re committed. Nobody wants to see the flavor of the month on IG. Not a good look.

Every day I am more sickened w my generation. Jesus, they range from dangerous violent predators to utterly useless. The second guy I ever had sex with was porn addicted and couldn’t get off without death grip. Made me so insecure at the time thinking I wasn’t hot enough or he didn’t like me enough. He always wanted head and/or rough sex. Sex with him was such a chore. It’s embarrassing I put up with it considering how bad it made me feel about myself. Never again- if a guy is porn sick then it’…

Saw a New York Times piece about a family in the city last year talking about ~the death of gender roles~ and their ~equal partnership~. She was some kind of executive and the breadwinner and he was a creative type working part time. Guess who did the cooking, shopping, family management, cleaning, and planning. Guess who carried and birthed their children. Guess who, in this new ~modern~ relationship structure ended up earning all the money and doing all the work. Just because a man is a creati…

Pressuring for sex/wanting to do any activity that typically leads to sex- eg come to my house, Netflix and chill, ‘cuddling’, are an automatic no. If he’s trying to have sex with you right away then he’s a LVM and you want nothing to do with him. I hateeeee that so many younger guys have been taught this shit is acceptable and think it’s normal to invite you over for sex the first/second time you meet. It so so lazy and horrible. Even worse it means they never have to communicate about sex or i…

also, many of us on this sub are former pickmeishas. Yes I hate to see the behavior but I always have hope they’ll come around and start respecting themselves and the value of all women. Ultimately all women are given the same shit deal that encourages pickmeisha behaviors and advantages men- some women participating in this shit are just young, insecure, and stuck in the shitty system that aims to disadvantage them. So I try to bring pickmeishas around if I can, although obviously some are dete…

Literally had the same experience. Got my nipples pierced Bc I thought it would make me cool/sexy to hipsters and seem like an edgy laid back girl. It was sooooooo uncomfortable. Finally took them out and felt so free, not getting caught on shit or hurting me anymore. Thank god.

Nothing wrong w/ wanting to look good, spending time on ur appearance, and following beauty trends, but this is an explicitly feminist sub. So the misogyny and racism doesn’t fly here. Interestingly I rarely see disagreements along these lines on this sub, seems like we all know the line between working on ur appearance and wanting to feel good and existing to be hot to men.

Also, their barometer is shot. Reddit on average is soooooooo sexist and anti-woman. It’s insane. Ofc our feminist and purely woman centered no bullishit sub would hurt their precious feelings. But what really gets me is when libfems join in calling us a hate sub. Ladies... I hope you see the light and stop being pickmeishas. Think for yourselves. What’s really going to benefit you? Is it talking about how sexism hurts men too? Is it prioritizing TIMS over real women? Think for yourself. Be your…

It is so revealing to me when subs, ranging from purple pill debate to general subs, call us “hateful” and compare us to the likes of incels, MGTOW, r/ seduction etc, etc. people see the way we talk about men and it hurts Bc it’s the fucking truth. But that’s on them. Can’t hide from reality, and nobody is more connected to the reality of heterosexual dating and men in 2020 than FDS. we are fucking right. In this, I am fully confident. Call us a hate sub, but we speak the fucking truth, like it …

None of us hate men. If we did we wouldn’t date them. We just don’t waste our own damn time.... We’re doing men a fucking service but not tolerating their bullshit. Maybe they’ll learn something. Maybe they’ll grow and become... gasp... decent.

Yes! It annoys me so much when people call us a hate sub. We are uplifting eachother and cutting the men who hurt us out of our life. How is that comparable to actual hateful and violent subs on this site.

Yes queens. Yes. Good treatment and respect is not something you earn by being rich, hot, young, successful, educated, funny, likable, etc. you deserve good treatment, bottom line. We work on ourselves and our goals because we care about being better, care about improving and enjoying our lives more, NOT so we “deserve” to be treated right. All women deserve to be treated right regardless of where they’re at in their journey of personal growth. Leveling up is not centered on male appeasement or …

Seconded on the NYE date asks. Hell no boy. I don’t wanna go to some party with all your friends and watch you get super drunk. Why do men think that’s an acceptable first date?

Yes!!! The most beautiful women on earth are treated poorly. The way men treat you does not improve in proportion to your hotness. You do not need to be physically perfect to deserve good treatment. You deserve to be with a HVM who treats you like a queen because you’re a HVW, with brains, talents, interests, a fulfilling job, a wide social group, beauty and the confidence to know what she deserves. All women deserve this regardless of their genetics, age, etc that impacts their conventional bea…

It’s so nice to hear a positive story. everyone, in theory, should have a HVM as a father but I know so many people who’s dads treat them like shit, influence them negatively and generally fuck them over. That leaves THEM with the responsibility / work of growing beyond that bad treatment and learning their own worth. My dad is similar. A provider but always doing work around the house, treasures my mom like the diamond she is, supportive of me and my sister and an amazing role model for my brot…

You wish you were HV enough for any of the women on this sub. As stated, our core values are about leveling up- working on ourselves, our careers, our social lives, our education, our appearance, etc. there is nothing wrong with wanting a man of equal value, a man who puts in effort, and not wanting to be his mom, therapist, or sex doll. We are not selfish for wanting someone who puts as much work into themselves as we do. If you can’t find HVW then newsflash, it’s because you’re not a HVM. we r…

Men are so fucking frustrating. All you gotta do is fucking TRY. Put in EFFORT. Lazy mfs don’t try at all in basically any aspect of their lives Bc they’ve gotten away with it forever. This sub is about not allowing men to continue being lazy and low effort, and HOPEFULLY y’all will figure it out and start acting right and we can all be hard working, intelligent, attractive people who want to level up together. If you don’t like the fact that in our experience men bring nothing to the table then…

do not let mediocre low effort men get any of your time let alone your wonderful love/affection and body. drop them if they don't add to your life. do it for yourself and do it for the other women out there so that men can no longer get away with putting in 0 effort.

makes me think how important and powerful women are. We are the arbiters of what genes get advanced in society. And we’re the gender that can be trusted w this responsibility. My dad (a hv man) is a biologist and has been researching “the ideal society” for 15+ years now. In the best society genetically, 30% of males would reproduce and all or almost all females would reproduce.

I have absolutely felt the same way, like I need to lower myself/grovel for attention because I’m not hot enough for HVM to want me. THIS IS FALSE! 1)women take better care of themselves, dress better, smile more, etc than most any man- THOSE are attractive traits that have nothing to do w/ your genes 2) if you are intelligent, funny, charming, warm, confident then YOU are high value No matter your look and deserve someone the same. Women who work on themselves and put in effort deserve high val…
