I think I would probably agree with this post if I could see the image

Reading my comment again, it seems that it is written like I think "fetishizing men" is bad. I think there is nothing wrong with it but the entire post is about straight women fetishizing gay men. You can't think one is okay while the other one is fucked up. In my opinion both is fine as long as it doesn't start making whatever person they are talking about uncomfortable but again, I will also not complain when straight women "fetishize" gay content.

I want to say first that you are not an antishipper if you don't believe that people should be censored or banned for posting "problematic" fictional content. Proshippers also can and absolutely do find certain things in fiction gross, or they can criticize it as well. It is just about allowing these things to exist even when you disagree with them. And I don't think a lot of people you think are proshippers are actually proshippers. Of course I don't want to use the "no true Scotsman" fallacy b…

Okay, I will be honest, the tumblr post is so horribly written it loses pretty much all points it might want to make. It feels like it is written by a 13 year old. If someone wants to talk about a serious topic, they should at least attempt to make it comprehensible. Now let's talk about the content itself. Firstly, where the hell did being a proshipper come from for example? Proshippers aren't the ones that fetishize real life gay men since they understand to seperate fiction from reality, it i…

If sexualities were contagious, every single person in the world would be straight. You don't realize how cisheteronormativity is in every single place of our life (from tv shows, to books, to leassons, to pretty much all conversations). Also being with the opposite gender doesn't make you any less bi

Don't really remember but it started with "> apparently people also have the same reaction when it is a woman being assaulted He is correct tho" Not everything in the comment was wrong and I remember that it touched some good points (the deleted comment was around the same length as my original one) but I think I didn't like the conclusion drawn

The amount and severity of homophobia in Instagram Reels make Youtube Shorts comment look innocent

But the reaction is still not nearly the same. By that, I mean people will be a lot more likely to take sexual assault or rape against men less seriously. Of course, people's reactions to women being raped or sexually assaulted is still bad but they get called out a lot more than when the victim is man, especially when it is "made-to penetrate".

Oh, I watched both videos before and I like the compilations but I genuinely hate the guy. Especially in Part 2 Female Perpetrators, he talks about how asckchulally men rape 99% of the time or whatever. And in the end he talks about sexual assault not being taken seriously when it comes to men is actually not misandrist or a gendered thing and apparently people also have the same reaction when it is a woman being assaulted (except it very clearly is not)

No it is not lmao. Like, the og post sucks but homophobia is not gay people's fault and won't stop if gay people act "nice" (I know this comment is not fully serious but it is still annoying as hell)

GSM means Gender and Sexual Minorities. It is just another way (tho not a widely recognized one) to say LGBT

Exactly! Murder jokes, even torture jokes are "funny" but rape jokes somehow crosses the line. I would be ok with someone finding any rape joke fucked up if they weren't the people saying stuff like "I'm gonna skin you alive", " I'm gonna kill you", "Gotta kms real quick".

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
