I almost decided to skip my bicep curls and tricep presses tonight, thank you.

I 100% relate to this problem, and had that exact situation of a woman being intimate and I can’t just let that be. I’m 20 and only gotten close to a woman once, and that made me over-invest and I’m even still after almost a year being broken up thinking about her.

Again that’s from a logically thinking perspective, but if you were in that situation it’d be far more difficult to think so clearly.

Honestly I don’t know what I’d do in your shoes, I’d be Heart wracked and off the rails mentally. But, from the lucky position I am in now with a logically thinking brain, you should definitely never speak to her again.

I was literally in the same boat with the “gf” fucking another guy. But I was worse, I KNEW it was happening and still fawned over her and did shit for her because I was weak. But no more. Fuck that shit.

You’re definitely right about that, but lifting is more important because it helps both confidence and appearance. Also, lifting is far more straightforward than building confidence.

Could you give an example of how reaction 2 would play out? This ones a bit awkward for me and I encounter it a lot. How would I “escalate” and “polarize?” Edit: nvmd I saw you answered this a few times already

It’s honestly really reassuring to see other people saying how long they’ve been a virgin, it helps remind me that it’s not too late.

I don’t really like clubs, got any other suggestions that can be fun?

I think Sara appreciates it but she probably can’t leave her social circle so she was forced to do that. You did the nice thing but it was disruptive and she had to shuffle everything back to being disfunctional. Reminds me of high school where I begrudgingly stayed friends with people that aren’t all that great.

There’s another factor to consider though, what if she’s willing to have a child with you?

And I totally feel you with that peer pressure, just know that even those people have problems with validation and probably even more anxiety. Having a girl doesn’t fix that.

I have a similar situation except I’m less afraid to make eye contact and such. I haven’t been working out but I’ve been losing weight. A great way to beat back anxiety over this stuff is exposure, and that can be anything. For me, it’s my chemistry class where I sit next to a bunch of girls during lab time and chat it up when we aren’t doing anything.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
