On the contrary, a baby can be born traumatized and/or with brain damage based on the parent and inherent biological factors, but that's due to prenatal neurotransmitters, hereditary factors, and the mother's experience. Nature gets plenty of things wrong. What books were you reading? Nature isn't designed to make us. Genetic mutations are random without intelligent design and there are plenty of things we could do without but we have them and look at that, we still exist!
