Even in the non-funded areas in the UK it's still not a bad system. Every person gets granted a student loan, but you don't start paying it back until you've reached a wage threshold (meaning you can work in a pub for years after your degree and you won't be paying any student loan debt back). When you work it all out, it amounts to about 3% of your salary you pay back each month. It's over 30 or so years, but still it's not a bad price to pay.

Double edged sword. For their to be tougher punishments for false accusers, their first has to be a higher standard of evidence for all rape cases. The reason I say single farmer is because in rural areas of Australia farms span distances that can't really be covered in even a day of travel. Especially from the city. It will help farmers in an area, but the person on the farm with this scholarship will obviously see more direct benefits.
