Nope, got my CRB check all good so they have no reason to doubt me legally. I got shadowed the first few weeks I was there but once they got to know me they trusted me. Same with any other new member of staff.

If I could get away with not doing nappies I would be happy as Larry, however if I was banned from doing them because of my gender as a general rule I would be pissed.

Yeah its what I love to do so I just carried on sending cvs out and just hoped other places didn't pull that. I got an awesome job offer though for a kickass nursery which is amazing. I DID run into some trouble getting in that job but nothing to do with gender issues!

I feel your pain, I work in early childcare as a male and since I have to do nappies/diapers I get an awful lot of flack thrown my way from people. I was offered a full time job but it got pulled 2 days before I was to start because a parent threatened to pull their children out if I was hired. I already got of job seekers and it took 3 weeks to sort that back out so I went a month without money because of it.

I don't think so, watching the show Tyrone has always come off as a guy you wouldn't want to truly annoy. However in the past few years he learnt that his wife (who died in a tram crash) was having an affair and their baby was in fact his boss', who takes the child off him. Then he fell into this toxic relationship with his current partner Kirsty who forces him to put up with him due to Tyrone's name not being on their child's birth certificate and if he walks he loses a second child.
