what exactly do you mean by more men becoming “pro-patriarchy”?

but neither do men. why would someone choose to date someone they’re not attracted to and has no qualities they admire?

i guess it depends what flirting is to you? and if the person flirting is reading social cues to see if the other person is into it (ie flirting back)?

i don’t think there are many women who think sex has no meaning (or at least i don’t), though please correct me with evidence of i’m wrong. you said women “want to have sex” with multiple men, the keyword being WANT is vastly different than FORCED. more people are having casual sex now because society is more open to sexuality and experimentation than in the past, but the point still stands that no matter what somebody’s sexual past is or their views on casual sex/hookups, having someone else fo…

i definitely don’t speak for women as a whole, but from what i’ve noticed (both online and with peers/friends), rape is physically and mentally damaging to a point that many survivors struggle to continue after the event. i’m not saying that sex is nothing, not sure where you got that from, but the fact that it is FORCED onto an unwilling participant is what is so horrifying.

valid point, thank you for responding :)

i never said man = rapist, so you might want to read my response again as you seem to have the comprehension of a toddler. and confusing my perspective for “irrelevant, confused and awesomely presumptuous babbling” is rich coming someone who can’t even provide a basic counter to my point. i’ll keep “babbling” on, thank you

i’d sincerely like to know what you think i’m “imagining ”, as you seem to like that word. if not, have a great day. i sincerely hope that you realize that i do not see rape in everything, and that this question (in many peoples’ eyes) pertains to SA. if you disagree, that’s fine.

i’m not sure where you got “OF girls” from, i was simply talking about the question and the creators/redditors i’ve see posting about it. though i don’t appreciate that you view women in sex work (such as OF) as delusional. the bear question, in my PERSONAL OPINION, is not a red-pill vs blue-pill issue. from my nuanced understanding, the question (not at face value) is comparing being SA to being killed (at least from the female perspective, you might view the question differently but i’m basing…

i’m just relaying how i have seen the question interpreted. why would anyone ask “would you rather be in a cage with a man or a bear”? surely, a human being is able to be reasoned with, while a bear is not. the question in itself is asking the target audience (women), if they would rather be stuck with a bear (who will likely attack/kill) or a man (in this scenario, a man who is violent/might SA them). i don’t see rape everywhere. i have great male friends, i have a boyfriend, i have brothers. i…

not imagining, it’s called “reading between the lines”: the whole question, to my understanding/what i’ve seen online, is an analogy for death vs rape. i think that the question was made to shock people (as it seems very cut and dry, man vs bear, who would choose bear?), and incite a debate. i’ve also seen this same question on TikTok and Instagram, and i know that they censor certain words (like rape, sexual assault), so this phrasing may have been a way to get around these censors. i’m not try…

i understand that the question says “man”, but i’m also smart enough to understand that the question is not surface level. i’ve seen this question throughout this subreddit and others, and the general consensus is that the question is comparing being SA’d (alone with a man, in a NEGATIVE way) to being killed (alone with a bear). i NEVER said that that all men are rapists, i simply tried to explain how many women viewed the question. i don’t believe that all men are bad, as i judge people on thei…
/r/PurplePillDebate22/04/24 06:20 PM

i believe that this question is implying “would you rather be raped or killed”, rather than a man vs bear debate. ofc, death by a bear would be EXTREMELY painful, but i think people are using this comparison to illustrate how detrimental SA is mentally and physically, and how, for some SA survivors, being killed seems to be the better option, compared to facing the effects of rape. also, “sweet, sweet female delusion” is a very generalized statement. i’d recommend assessing each person you meet …

would you say that, depending on the country that this arranged marriage takes place in (assuming it is a country like India, Pakistan or Indonesia, where arranged marriages are more popular) that the cultural/religious unity makes these unions more successful? i’m not implying that everyone in a certain country is the same, but compared to Western countries, i’d assume that there would be less diversity in terms of religion, values and upbringing.

why should the “ball be in women’s courts” when it comes to displaying interest? flirting (eye contact, suggestive comments, light touching) is supposed to be ambiguous, as it gives an “out” if the other person isn’t into it.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
