And yet, men still do it at alarming rates.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/04/26 03:37 AM
1

No? Why would I deny something that is demonstrably true?
/r/PurplePillDebate26/04/26 03:36 AM
2

You said, and I quote, "No one's killing, graping, abusing, or oppressing you"
/r/PurplePillDebate26/04/26 12:56 AM

Yep, glad we agree.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/04/26 11:49 PM

I'm not sure why you're referring to the bad things that men do as things in history, when men are doing those things today. My simple point is that female extremism is far less extreme than male extremism. And both forms of extremism, which can manifest in red pill and feminist circles, are unequal. The male and red pill forms of extremism are far more harmful than female and feminist forms of extremism. That's all.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/04/26 11:34 PM
3

Yeah, that's my point. MEN oppress and abuse a lot of people. MEN are far more violent and abusive. Men kill and abuse women far more than women kill and abuse men.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/04/26 11:31 PM

Which of those includes killing, raping, or enslaving men?
/r/PurplePillDebate25/04/26 11:29 PM

> killing, graping, abusing, or oppressing you You know nothing about me. And you could ask any woman in your life how many women they know have been sexually assaulted/harassed by a man. Then, ask yourself how many men you know have been sexually assaulted/harassed by a woman. Compute those numbers and get back to me. None of the "extreme" things that you've mentioned that women do to men are as bad as the extreme things that men have done and continue to do to women. Unless you're implying tha…

I agree that women's abuse of children is horrible. Not sure you could argue that child abuse is primarily a female act. There are far more fathers who sexually abuse their kids than mothers, though both are horrific.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/04/26 11:21 PM

Okay, what are behaviours that are primarily done by women that are comparable in malice to enslavement, murder, rape, pedophilia, etc? Again, men are still doing bad things, both in the West and elsewhere. Also, my logical reasoning is incredibly clear, it's very easy to see the overlap between red pill ideology and places where tenets of that ideology have been institutionalized.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/04/26 11:17 PM
2

The red pill is an ideology. The tenets of that ideology are alive and well in many countries. The Islamic Republic of Iran does not have to call their policies “red pill” for there to be obvious overlap.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/04/26 11:05 PM

The point is about how much one gender kills the other gender. Men kill and abuse women FAR more than women kill and abuse men. If anything, women are more indiscriminate about their killing and abuse. Men for some reason have this issue with women where they’re always trying to enslave and oppress us. Women moreso want to be left alone.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/04/26 11:03 PM
4

Shit like this is genuinely frightening
/r/PurplePillDebate25/04/26 11:00 PM
5

The point is that red pill is calling to revive the bad things that men have done historically. And also, the West is not the center of the universe, so things that happen outside of the West is just as modern, and needs to be addressed. Also, "men rape, kill, oppress, and enslave" is collective guilt. If a man said "women lie, manipulate, falsely accuse, and exploit men," Lol, isnt it funny that even the “bad things” that you call out women for doing are far less malicious than the bad things t…

There is data that women (in more patriarchal cultures especially) discriminate against girls in sex-selective abortions to have boys. Try again.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/04/26 10:54 PM
3

Okay well, is women being meanies really worse than men killing, raping, abusing, and oppressing women?
/r/PurplePillDebate25/04/26 10:52 PM
4

Yeah, there are men doing the same thing online. The difference is that men are ACTUALLY doing it in real life too, unless you can find me a cases where women are enslaving/murdering men the same way men enslave and murder women.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/04/26 10:44 PM

OP’s argument does work because it is comparably men, not women, who actually engage in the practices that reflect those harmful sentiments. As far as I remember, it is men who primarily engage in killing, raping, oppressing, and enslaving the other gender. It is not “politically irrelevant” for women to defend their right to vote and work, when we didn’t have those rights a century ago, and many women don’t have those rights in different parts of the world today. Mysoigny is far more institutio…

The most “extreme” feminist cause is just women asking men to leave them alone, which is far better than men calling for women to become a lower class of sex slave or something.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/04/26 10:37 PM

Yep, men were oppressed by other richer men. So maybe take it up with them instead of us.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/04/26 09:05 PM

I never said they were mutually exclusive. You did by implying that men either advocate for family creation or prostitution.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/04/26 09:00 PM

I mean, look through this sub. They're doing both.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/04/26 08:46 PM

Yep! If this whole birth rate declining “crisis” didn’t have to do with men’s lower access to sex, they wouldn’t be talking about it so much.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/04/26 06:38 PM
2

Well, duh? And men need women biologically to reproduce as a species. Doesn't mean that each individual man NEEDS to marry a woman. The same way women no longer have to.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/04/26 05:48 AM
6

When women say they “don’t need men,” they mean they don’t need to be married or tied up to a man to live well. This is obviously a reversal from the past when women had less rights, and basically needed a man for financial security.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/04/26 04:03 PM
2

Do whatever you want. Just leave us alone. Women are basically begging men to build communities and friendships.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/04/26 09:07 PM

Lovely. Well then, I think I'll continue maximizing my privileges and encouraging other women to do the same.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/04/26 08:38 PM

So what? What are you going to do about it?
/r/PurplePillDebate09/04/26 07:15 PM

/r/PurplePillDebate09/04/26 06:17 PM

Duh…why wouldn’t women maximalize our privileges? Especially because our privileges arent dependent on subjecting other groups to death, sexual abuse, oppression, and enslavement. Why does women’s liberation bother men so much?
/r/PurplePillDebate09/04/26 06:16 PM
10

You not having a family is an acceptable trade-off for women having the freedom to choose who they marry. God Bless feminism!
/r/PurplePillDebate09/04/26 06:12 PM

Of course I’ve considered women working, because I work, and it’s great! You have a larger amount of the population with purchasing power, decision making power, and contributing to the economy. I’ve lived in places where women are prohibited from formal employment and their economies are definitely not better for it. Also, I value women working because I value freedom above all. Women are entitled to work because we’re human. That’s all.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/04/26 06:10 PM
10

Lmaooo, I’m asking you to be specific and you’re talking about the “social fabric” and then accusing ME of using platitudes. Be specific about what women’s liberation has done to YOU.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/04/26 06:07 PM

How would women be “held accountable” for that? Why do women need to be “held accountable” for going to work lmaooo

Well North Korea oppresses it’s people. How has feminism oppressed you? How has the liberation of women subjugated you or limited your ability to live, or subjected you to death, or sexual abuse, or exploitation, or objectified you?
/r/PurplePillDebate09/04/26 06:00 PM

Feminism advocates for the liberation of women’s from all forms of gendered oppression. That’s all.

This is so encouraging to hear! As a woman, I'm all for men creating stronger bonds and communities, organizing around their social advancement, and "having eachother's back." It does just sometimes feel like men are waiting for women to initiate these causes for them, and that's just not gonna happen.

This is so so so sad :(

It already is that. Like, it already is.

Female singleness is also correlated with women’s education and rights. I don’t doubt that free media is correlated with countries where women are more free as well. And, I said it was gross, I didn’t say you couldn’t do it. Go see those videos of 50 year old men prowling around Thailand for barely legal girls. That’s gross. Like, by any metric.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/04/26 02:34 AM
1

That’s not why modern dating is hard for men. It’s hard for men because women are no longer compelled to be with men for financial security. So simply going to places where women don’t have the same freedom to choose is gross. But if it’s consensual then have fun!

It’s so convenient that when provided with tangible, real examples of media permitting women to be torn apart, sexualised, abused, and disregarded, they’re not sufficient for you. You think Grok letting men make child porn of underaged girls has NOTHING to do with this subject?
/r/PurplePillDebate07/04/26 05:06 PM

These are 3 examples of media permitting women to be torn apart and discriminated against at an institutional level. I’m saying that this stuff goes deeper than what you can even imagine. It always has.

Here are 3 concrete examples: 1. Right this very second, @Bellesaco, a women’s sexual health account on Instagram that had 700k followers, is challenging meta for banning their account without warning for using the word “clitoris”. This is at the same time as Instagram lets men’s sexual health content about ED’s run, and ALSO after they just lost a $375mil lawsuit for violating child safety. What does anything you said have to do with the question I answered which was, in what ways is media bad to women? What I provided is a tangible example of that. Also, if you thing the anatomical word “clitoris” is “obscene” or “indecent” then it’s no wonder you’re active in this sub.

You can tell when some of these posters have had their entire worldview built on what they see and do online, and it’s clouded how they view “reality.” Perhaps OP has never talked to women irl and ASKED about the unflattering generalizations we recieve from the moment we’re born.

Yep, I always get confused by posts like this, because there's no incentive to do the things OP is saying. Like which women will be convinced to put extra emotional labour into a man, when they could simply not, or just stay single?
/r/PurplePillDebate05/04/26 05:23 PM

Many women are completely fine with men decentering us. We're practically begging you to either treat us well or leave us the hell alone.

Tf, what is equal about misogyny and misandry? Misandry is not institutionalized the mysoginy is. Also, misandrist women mostly just want men to leave them alone. That’s very different than what misogynistic men want from women

No one is saying that women should discriminate against men. We’re just saying that women shouldn’t be compelled to be around or be intimate with men, the same way men shouldn’t be compelled to be around or be intimate with women. No one is entitled to the other.

You know what’s even more systemic? Being prohibited from formal education for millennia on the basis that you were born a woman.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/04/26 03:27 PM

Women do initiate female centered projects, such as the initiative for women only drivers on Uber. Of course, men pushed back against this as well, because you can’t handle women having anything to ourselves.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/04/26 03:26 PM

Women dont blame all men for a small percentage of male violence. We just don’t know which men are the violent men. And we conduct ourselves as such.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/04/26 03:15 PM

Because we don’t have to. If he have to build for ourselves then we will. Women rise to the occasion—look at women’s contributions when most men were fighting in wars.

Okay but she’s not a man. The point is that none of the men are in prison, and the majority of men aren’t even being prosecuted. THAT’s patriarchy.

When men do better in those things because women have laws and policies prohibiting them from doing those things then yeah, that is discrimination.

You guys only think that sexual power is significantly useful because you don’t have any. If you had even a little bit of it, you’d know that it’s not equivalent to brute strength or financial power.

Cmon. You’re smarter than this.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/04/26 02:27 PM
11

This is such a silly argument. When you place institutional barriers on women’s access to education and employment, of course we wouldn’t have built infrastructures. We weren’t ALLOWED to. But don’t worry, women are now outpacing men in education, employment, and even home ownership so you’ll have your more equal contribution.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/04/26 02:23 PM
7

Okay, but women don’t subject other women to whoredom. MEN do. the point about gendered violence is not “who dies more,” it’s who experiences more sex-based oppression. Men inflict harm on women more than women inflict harm on men. Argue with THAT!
/r/PurplePillDebate01/04/26 02:20 PM
2

I too hope that more men become more accepting of singleness. It’s very liberating actually.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/03/26 06:29 PM
2

But you aren't en masse lol. Give it time. And, of course women still want better, everyone wants better! The difference is that now, women NOT having “better” doesn’t mean financial destitution, because women are no longer prohibited from working, opening bank accounts, owning credit cards, and other things. Yay feminism!
/r/PurplePillDebate26/03/26 06:19 PM
8

This is exactly what these TRP continually fail to recognize! When your livelihood literally depends on you being financially bound to a man, then you will try to find the man with the greatest financial security. Now that women can get our own financial security, we’re looking for other traits or simply choosing to be single.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/03/26 06:02 PM

You don't know what radical feminism is or what it stands for. If you'd like to learn then I'd honestly give you reading materials.

We can tell.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/03/26 11:34 PM

Because women are handling our loneliness by building stronger communities with other women. I don’t think you intended this, but sometimes posts like these come across as men hoping that women will do the labour of organizing communities for you.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/03/26 01:22 AM
4

Why not? You think women and other minoritized groups don’t organize meetings and movements for their advancement?
/r/PurplePillDebate20/03/26 01:00 AM
8

Well then why not address that concern to other men instead of women?
/r/PurplePillDebate19/03/26 11:52 PM

Don’t speak on women’s behalf. I for one care about my loved ones’ birthdays and other “such dates”
/r/PurplePillDebate19/03/26 11:51 PM
1

I can't see how that would possibly help your case.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/03/26 10:47 PM

Hmm idk what to tell you. Maybe men should start building better communities with eachother because relationships aren't promised. Not for women and not for men.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/03/26 10:15 PM

Women are taking that risk, for the sake of our happiness. Maybe men should consider that as well.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/03/26 10:03 PM

Then you guys should probably stop doig it?
/r/PurplePillDebate19/03/26 10:02 PM

You don’t have to fall for anything. Just leave us alone.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/03/26 02:03 PM

Men experience violent abuse mostly at the hands of other men, so that’s an issue you can take up with your gender. Bye!
/r/PurplePillDebate17/03/26 02:02 PM
7

I too wish I was in your fantasy land where women around the world no longer experience violent abuse at the hands of men.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/03/26 01:37 PM

This is coming from the same gender that celebrates and makes sexual jokes when news come out about female teachers abusing teenage boys at schools. These men are literally not serious.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/03/26 01:34 PM
1

Feminism is not simply about equality, but about full liberation. When women are no longer raped, abused, killed, and dismissed by men, then we can have a larger discussion about idk, male dating issues. We simply have our priorities straight.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/03/26 01:30 PM
-2

OKay but what's the incentive of that. Dating is inherently inequal as it's preferences based. It's not the workplace.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/03/26 08:33 PM
-1

It's not even so much as a dopamine kick, moreso, what do I have to gain by putting in effort for someone that isn't putting effort into me? The only reason I or any woman would do that is for an exceptional man, which most men, while nice enough, are not.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/03/26 07:14 PM
0

Hmm, I can't lie, this would not work on me or any of my friends. Maybe one day but idk. The idea of begging for an uninterested man's attention is repulsive to me.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/03/26 06:27 PM

What does one gender being “prone to” have to do with their access to political life? Men are “prone” to rape, mass murder, pedophilia, violent and non-violent crime, and most of the nefarious things that human beings do. Why shouldn’t those disqualify men from voting? If you can’t trust men not to rape children, what makes them competent enough to contribute to our government? To your second point, men have strong in group bias too. Most countries haven’t even had a female president! What do yo…

Counterpoint: the draft should be abolished. Nobody should be forced to kill and die for a war they don’t believe in. Feminists have overwhelmingly been against the draft so now it’s up to leaders to abolish it.

Feminists are overwhelmingly against the draft for both men and women, so…
/r/PurplePillDebate22/02/26 09:45 PM

Yep! OP has the benefit of the male experience but not the female experience. Many women will tell you that we got hit on the most by old(er) men when we were underaged. According to creepy men, my physical peak was when I was 14-16 years old. Considering how bad I looked then (cause I was literally a kid), it’s unlikely that I was getting approached because I was more attractive than I am now in my early twenties. But I was naive, and I didn’t know how to say no to or ignore strange men. For so…
/r/PurplePillDebate12/02/26 04:10 PM

Women are in relationships. Just maybe not with you.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/02/26 06:27 PM

Because we can’t tell, we’ve now stopped dating any men just to make sure. You’re welcome!
/r/PurplePillDebate05/02/26 05:38 PM

Ahhh, I’m so glad we’ve agreed that this is a male issue! Maybe you can share your new insights with your gender at large.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/02/26 05:35 PM

Huh, I also wonder if there’s a certain correlation between pedophiles and mass shooters and those who get sun burned easily. There also seems to be a correlation between that group, and those who sex trafficked, killed, and abused thousands of children and women on Epstein’s island.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/02/26 05:00 PM

It’s a categorical difference that many men don’t understand it seems.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/02/26 08:01 AM

I like how decisive men can be-the clarity with which you see things. I also really like the “male form.” Like to me, an attractive man is far more enticing than an attractive woman (probably because I’m straight lol).
/r/PurplePillDebate02/02/26 09:15 AM

Okay?
/r/PurplePillDebate01/02/26 05:56 AM
16

Yep! I’m old enough to remember when “go make me a sandwich” and “get back in the kitchen” were insults that men spewed at women to demean us. Now we’re supposed to believe that being a trad wife is the most honourable thing in the world when it’s been dis valued and disparaged for so long. No thanks!
/r/PurplePillDebate30/01/26 01:10 AM
24

Right?! Like the only reason women sought out providers is because we had zero access to financial, political, and social mobility. WE HAD NO CHOICE! Notice that now that women can actually access financial security, we’re refusing to enter relationships with just any man? I’d rather be single and live well than be married and live poorly.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/01/26 01:01 AM

When it comes to dating, one can consider any metric (even a false one) to decide who does and who doesn’t get to have sex with them. Nothing you can do about that

Sure. Do whatever you want
/r/PurplePillDebate22/01/26 03:49 PM

The issue is, it’s not clear whether OP is being descriptive or prescriptive. It’s not untrue to say that men and women have been treated as disposable in these ways. Especially under the neoliberal framework that you mention.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/01/26 07:48 AM

Feminists are anti-conscription, but the draft isn’t our priority because people (in your country at least) aren’t being drafted. Next. Feminists can have their own opinions on dating as everyone does, because it’s not an economic, political, or legal right. Neither men nor women are entitled to a partner. Based on your examples, I’m not sure we have the same concept of what “rights” or “equal rights” are. However, to take what you said about dating seriously, radical feminists are trying to fre…

The point is that across the world and throughout history, women haven’t had the same economic, political, and legal rights as men. Feminists are ensuring that we now can and do. What are the economic, legal, and political rights that you think men don’t have and feminists should fight for?
/r/PurplePillDebate18/01/26 01:36 PM

I didn’t say I don’t care about sex, I said I don’t want to have it with random men. The orgasm gap is real. I have a hard time believing that YOU care about sex seeing as you’re willing to have potentially unfulfilling and dangerous encounters with random men. Quality over quantity

Healthy relationships dynamics are not dependant on men or women filling gender roles. Also, your conception of men and women (whatever it is) is not consistent across regions and throughout history.

You said "I wonder what a feminists response to all this is," and I responded. If you need me to recommend you some feminist literature, then lmk :)

Feminists are generally against the draft for anyone, generally pro-paternity leave (because it supports men in contributing to the domestic sphere), and are generally anti-capitalist-to respond to the rest of the commentor's points. If your only encounters with feminist thought are on twitter or something then you have no grasp of what different feminists actually think.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/01/26 01:02 AM

I think it says something that the sexist man's criticism of women is that we get special treatment (which isn't actually our fault), while women's criticisms of men are that men murder, assault, and dominate others disproportionately to women. While both criticisms have some truth, one gender certainly does a better job of oppressing the other.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/01/26 12:59 AM

They also don't understand that for men, approaching a women could lead to a positive sexual encounter. While for women, there is a risk of a dangerous encounter, that might be unsatisfying, that might also lead to 9 months of pregnancy and a child at the end. This biological reality doesn't change just because we have equal rights now.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/01/26 12:24 AM

Yep! Grown men started "pursuing" me when I was like 12, which is disgusting. That's why women don't really take it seriously when men threaten to stop approaching first, like okay, I guess the human population will die off then...

I think those women are smart enough to realize that the conservatives who advocate for stricter borders only care about women’s safety when there are foreigners concerned. Otherwise, conservative men aren’t exactly the forefront of women’s justice advocacy.

I mean, I never said no women anywhere want marriage and children. I just said we no longer have no other options than that. I know many liberal women who are single and would really, really like a relationship, but not so much that they’d compromise their dating preferences. Unlike in the past, we generally have the option to be single and live well.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/12/25 09:35 PM

Women have always been more interested in relationships, marriage, and children than men on average, seemingly by nature. This was only the case because women had no other option than marriage to live. When you can’t work, own a bank account, or travel independently, competing with other women over marriage is the only option. Even after women were legally equal to men, the social norms surrounding marriage persisted. Thank God, this is changing. Now that we have rights, we have more decision ma…

Same. It’s the extremism and polarization of today that throws me off. I myself have SOME conservative takes, but the men make me want to renounce all of it.

lol, how are you gonna tell me what feelings I reserve for which relationships? I think we’re operating from completely different world views/life experiences.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/12/25 11:16 AM

Yeah, I mean based on how he’s described himself, we probably wouldn’t be friends. I think men and women are experiencing friendship very differently, because I’m honestly depressed by the almost transactional way you guys are describing what you do for your friends. I have friends who travel across the country for me, and you can’t even walk someone home?? Anyways, to each their own I guess.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/12/25 10:49 AM

No? I’m not romantically interested in my female friends (I’m straight). Hmm, have you never had a deep friendship with another man or woman? I have extremely intimate friendships. I would do anything for them because I love them. But it’s completely different from romantic attraction, where I feel desire to be close to him, jealousy, etc.

Point to where I said that
/r/PurplePillDebate19/12/25 10:06 AM

Don’t have to because desperate men will always be willing to! Also, I intentionally limit my male friends to avoid this self-centered and self-serving behaviour that so many men seem to possess.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/12/25 12:46 AM

It's not our duty to make everyone we're acquainted with to feel safe Yep! And it’s not her duty to stay friends with someone who’s moral character is so fragile. “Do onto others how you’d want them to do onto you” NOT “do onto others however much it takes for them to fuck you.” Embarrassing!
/r/PurplePillDebate19/12/25 12:26 AM
-1

Lol, you’re actually dramatic. I risk my safety for my friends all the time, if only to keep them safe. They do the same for me. Also, if he was ACTUALLY concerned about his safety, he would have never walked her home in the first place. His care for her life is conditional on her willingness to have sex with him. No wonder women are decentering men.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/12/25 12:24 AM
3

There used to be SO many pick me girls (think “I’m not like other girls”, I don’t wear makeup, I only eat pizza and burgers), but there’s less now since women have properly shamed them out of it. I wish men would shame other so called “nice guys”
/r/PurplePillDebate19/12/25 12:20 AM
3

How would you characterize them? I’ve never met a girl who masks herself as “nice” to get sex from men?? Maybe the equivalent are “pick-me’s” but they usually want male attention or relationships, not really sex.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/12/25 10:30 PM
7

Okay? That doesn’t exactly speak well of your character. If her male friend was walking her home to keep her safe, and then stopped walking her home, that clearly implies that he no longer cares if she’s safe. I wouldn’t stay friends with anyone like that.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/12/25 10:18 PM

I hope you see the ridiculousness of caring for another person’s safety on the condition that they reciprocate your romantic feelings. She was right to stop being friends with him.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/12/25 10:05 PM
2

This is very bizarre to me as a woman, because the things you mentioned that men do for women in committed relationships are things that women do for other women in our friendships. It’s possible that she expects these things from him because he’s her friend, similar to how my female friends wouldn’t hesitate to walk me home from a party or take care of my pet.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/12/25 10:04 PM
8

Also, a lot of the men in my culture grew up around female cousins, sisters, friends. So this sort of weird resentment towards women that we see in the subreddit would’ve been bullied out of them I think lol.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/12/25 09:58 PM
13

Same! Men aren’t shamed for dancing and being overtly charismatic. We go to parties, music events, socials, bbqs, get togethers. Also, a lot of my male friends, average or not, are social and like interacting with other men and women. That, on its own, makes them more attractive
/r/PurplePillDebate18/12/25 09:53 PM

Monty period from adolescence until menopause where we go through rapid hormonal changes, heat flashes, etc. pregnancy, labour, post partum. Endometriosis, PCOS, etc. There is an entire branch of medical practice dedicated to women’s pain.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/12/25 07:31 PM

I’m sure that women also engage in the most wars, genocide, sexual assault, mass shootings, armed robbery, and intimate partner violence right? Oh wait, they don’t!

Many woman are unbothered by men who want traditional women, we just reject the idea that we should be forced to become traditional women if we don’t want to. Ideally, all traditional men should find and be with all the traditional women, and leave the rest of us alone.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/12/25 09:39 PM

Women are not “gate keeping” sex from you, they just don’t want to have sex with you. The same way you’re not “gate keeping” sex from gay men. You’re just not interested in men. So what?
/r/PurplePillDebate14/12/25 12:23 PM

Then I would worry less about what other people do and try to find joy in your own life
/r/PurplePillDebate12/12/25 08:50 PM

men should improve their single life and realize that they don’t need a woman to be happy Yes! I genuinely think that more men need to decenter women, and interact with women and men simply as human beings. If a relationship happens, nice, if not, life goes on. Men are not obliged to submit to what they think are women’s unrealistic standards, so if they don’t want to, they simply shouldn’t!
/r/PurplePillDebate12/12/25 08:48 PM

You’re aware that men created and sustain the draft right? You’re aware that feminism has an entire branch dedicated to military abolition right?
/r/PurplePillDebate12/12/25 08:44 PM

Oh my goodness, please search up the scholars, researchers, and activists that are at the forefront of the military abolitionist and conscription abolitionist movements. They are quite literally feminists! Men only bring up the horrors of the draft when playing oppression Olympics with women.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/12/25 08:43 PM

And I genuinely wish they would replace their fixation with sex and blaming women for things with pursuing hobbies, interests, passions! When I’m single, I do things that are interesting. I don’t try to coerce the male gender to submit to my needs en masse. It’s so embarrassing
/r/PurplePillDebate12/12/25 08:36 PM

women have no idea how much of losers they themselves are Oh my Lorddddd then stop dating women! Decenter us the way that we’ve started to decenter you. You’re not going to coerce women with free will to date men who they don’t want to, the same way I can’t coerce men with free will to date me if they don’t want to. I’ve accepted that easily, why can’t men?
/r/PurplePillDebate12/12/25 08:33 PM

Even if that was the case (which other commentators have shown it isn’t) so what? Why should women lower their standards for you? I don’t expect all men to lower their standards for me, I just find men who I want who also want me. If there were no men who met my standards, I’d just stay single. No one (including women) are entitled to love or a relationship.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/12/25 08:31 PM

Then don’t date her? Why do men who complain about women with “unrealistic expectations” just not date those women?? Date women who you want and who want you, and leave the rest alone.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/12/25 06:30 PM

It’s not Olympics. I stated factual statements, which you can do with as you wish.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/12/25 09:54 AM

Just because there’s an equal number of men and women, doesn’t mean that men and women exhibit “badness” equally. If we’re defining what “bad” means, then men’s disproportionate representation in committing violent crimes (murder, rape, domestic violence, mass shootings, genocides, starting wars, pedophilia, sexual slavery, human trafficking, drug dealing, etc.) certainly suggest that men exhibit evil behaviour more than women, comparitavely.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/12/25 07:31 AM
12

women love it, it lets them get away with countless war crimes Like what?? Even if your being hyperbolic, how can you equivalate the horrors that men have done with the horrors that women have done. Also, the only people I ever see say that boys who experienced sexual assault “must have wanted it” or “should be grateful” are other men. Like overwhelmingly
/r/PurplePillDebate09/12/25 10:42 AM

Exactly! I always think it’s funny when red pill men talk about how they’d rather have a submissive waitress over a career women, as if that will entice all of us to drop out of school and quit our jobs. It just means we’ll avoid men like that, which is precisely what we’re doing.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/12/25 05:13 PM

I’ve noticed this too! I sometimes look back on shows like sex and the city and it seems so outdated their obsession with men and relationships. I think it’s now seen as embarrassing to be man/boyfriend-obsessed, but maybe the pendulum will swing back again.

If there was a natural and balanced compromise to gendered relations then there wouldn’t need to have been laws, institutions, and systemic practices to keep women outside of political and economic life. If it was simply natural for women to not vote, not work, not get an education, not have bank accounts, not travel alone (I could go on), then there wouldn’t have been laws and policies keeping that order in place. You may not remember women’s “millennia of oppression” but our grandmothers do, a…

You’re saying women “fell for this” as if we don’t know or understand the merits of our emancipation. Like many other women, I prefer no relationship to a bad relationship. Women are coming to terms with this, men should as well.

Wilfully ignorant of what? Women are no longer forced to marry men to have a fulfilling life and men are more lonely as a result. If men aren’t invested in building emotional bonds with other men to fix this, then why should women be?
