Deferred Adjudication (probation) does not make you a convicted felon. Your felony record will only be viewable by law enforcement if you complete the probation. Also I can vote. Felons in Texas are not barred from voting at any level. I was given 4 years deferred and didn't take it seriously. Ended up getting 2 years, did 11 months.
