I partially blame some jobs for that, though. I got fired from a job for not being talkative enough. Not being incompetent at my job, not being nasty to anyone, not being late (I wasn't). Literally that I didn't have a BFF in four days who I'd hang out with after work. And this was a job that was supposedly life and death. They greatly exaggerated. Problem is they won't listen to the women who want them to stop either. And I've noticed they've twisted the movement/ideology so badly, just doing anything by yourself as a woman (or with another woman) will get someone calling you a feminist.

Probably because of what happens if the person you're dependent on leaves you one day, or can't support you anymore. It's one of the reasons if I had kids, I wouldn't want to be a stay-at-home parent. My mom wanted to be one, but my sister's father decided fatherhood wasn't for him and he didn't want to raise another man's child (me), so she was on her own.
