Wasn't a one night stand. With a girlfriend, but i was 19. Holy fuck, scary as shit. I almost threw my guts up in that college dorm room. This was 1995. Please boys - wear a condom. Don't trust when she says shes on BC.

Girlfriend dragged me to "First Wives Cub" in 1996. I was 20 years old. I can still remember the older men on the line looking at me like, "what the fuck are you here in this line for, watching this movie?"

It's an impossible thing to know the true numbers of paternity fraud. Its the old "Momma's baby, daddy's maybe" - situation. Except now, with DNA testing, we have the ability to know. however, there are economic, political, and social reasons why this is not an issue thats discussed in polite society. The burden that could be potentially dropped on the average taxpayer could be quite hard. Look, this man made a trusting gamble. Mandatory DNA tests will probably never happen - so, there will alwa…

Very true. Was essentially MGTOW before it was something defined. It was learned from just dealing with my own relationships and that of my close friends who were generally good men. If youre the type of person who questions things, and then can abstract to the general population - you know something is fucked up even if you cant define it. As a Gen X'er, we too grew up with the statistics about marriage and all, but honestly, most privately think they'll beat the odds. Nope, the statistics are …

I hear what you're saying - but im also a Gen X investor, and there was nothing wrong with short term investing if you had the spare cash - emphasis on spare cash - simply because of some decent volatility. I personally enjoyed it. Made about 30k on it for a rather small investment. But i get your point, and youre generally right. If i there was younger guy here in his 20's getting started i'd only advise him for long term, less volatile investments to get that first foot forward. A lot of the m…

For me, its not so much loneliness as it is boredom occasionally. In fact, i do almost everything on my own and enjoy that. If i have to run errands, i just load up some podcasts, lectures etc. I love coming home to my house - its quiet, i have everything i need in it. However, occasionally on a weekend, it would be nice to have some company to do something with. Hit a pub, etc. Unfortunately the friends i've made in this town are all raising their own children, or financial unable to really do …

Youre sadly right. I dont get it either - im not saying a college degree is a bad thing, but some of the most interesting philosophical conversations with a wide range of subject matter were with people who didnt hold a degree. They just had a inquistive mind about different things. I have a college degree, and only in so far that it exposed me to some subiect matter i may have not come across on my own so young, it hs done nothing for me career wise.

The "idea" of marriage is what makes people eventually make the commitment. The sad reality is that often times the marriage will end. Just by the numbers. Of course everyone thinks that they'll be different. They'll beat the odds. Just like every 18 year old thinks they'll be a millionaire by the time they're 40. Watching some of my friends go through the divorce process, sometimes a brutal divorce was really sad to see. When i began hearing people talk about marriage so casually, (like the ide…

To be honest, the two parties for decades didn't seem all that different to me - or at least when they tried to execute their policies the compromises made them almost indistinguishable. We all almost as the public regarded them as corrupt as each other. Trump is such a fucking wildcard - I don't think you can think of him as a Republican in the traditional sense, and yet, he's been more conservative than I could have possibly imagined. I'll never vote democrat again, and I have in the past seve…

WTF? There's no legal barrier to trade crypto's based on gender. Trade it or don't trade it. Male dominance? No one is stopping anyone from trading crypto. Nonsense article.

I'm just a few years older than you. Pretty much had been in relaitonships almost non stop since my late teens. I know...dumb...When I moved to a new area years ago for a job, and before I found MGTOW, I had little options but OLD if I wanted to meet someone. Holy f@ck what a disaster. It was basically over if you were looking for a woman who doesn't have kids.

One very small thing i would add, especially for people who are going on some of their first interviews and are a bit nervous - Always remember, companies don't like to waste time. Many companies receive dozens, sometimes hundreds of applicants. If you were offered an interview, they already believe you are qualified for the job (assuming you were honest on your resume). Don't feel intimidated. Be yourself, be professional, and give it your best.

Sorry, I wasn't clear in what I meant. The politicians don't want to pass the burden off on the taxpayers for the child not the DNA test. They need a payer for support. If they didn't have payers, it could potentially be a big liability on a state's budget. I think I read an article where when the woman goes to seek welfare, she has to list the name of the father and last known address. If the man she lists does not show up in court he can become the default dad. I even saw a guy who became a de…

Usually when a woman is done she's done. We all know the story. Shes not happy. I've seen too many times when a man tries to win her back and it only gets more desperate and pathetic. Sounds like there's some pain there for you which is expected - but it also sounds like you recognized what you were doing and you're learning from it. With that said my man, you just got fucking born again. Now its about you.

Shit man. Sorry to hear all that. I wish nothing but future success and happiness for you going forward.

True. Who knows what the damn number is. Even one single case is too much though. I don't think the govt' would ever allow it. (Mandatory DNA) You'd have too much voting pressure from women's groups for politicians to handle and they're definitely not going to pass the burden off on the taxpayers. They don't care who the father is as long as someone is paying. Insane.

The ole "mama's baby, daddys maybe" crap. I'm sorry, but this is about the cruelest thing you can do to someone AND the child when they're grown. I personally don't know anyone confirmed that this has happened to, but I have a few friends I've wondered about. I'm sure they have too.

Pretty much this. I wont marry, have kids, or live with anyone. Learned all my lessons with a broken engagement and moved on ...for myself for once...I have control over my own finances and future, and the freedom to do what i want, when i want. But cant do the celibate thing. However, i dont chase anymore and im honest about where im coming from.

Great post! Before finding this sub a few years ago, i moved to a new state for work. Not knowing anyone in town and still open to dating at that time - the pure shit show that is online dating was pretty much my only option at the time. Wow - what an eye opener that was.

Glad someone posted this. I had been lurking a long time and was hesitant to sub because of some of the hate. I wrote it off to some of the anger some were experiencing maybe from a fresh breakup. I was in relationships almost all of my life - i dont have the anger at all, but hell if i haven't experienced first hand many of the things i've read on here personally. I like the idea of MGTOW being a place where we can walk away from what society expects from us. I genuinely enjoy the posts where s…

There's a law in a few states called Alienation of Affection. In these states, the spouse that was cheated on can sue the other party for interfering in the marriage and receive financial compensation.

Had a co worker who would not believe this occurred unless there had been a terrible mistake by the judge. Said to me and another coworker we were dead wrong. I told him the rationale was that someone is going to pay and the judge will do his/her best to make sure its not the taxpayer. He began doing a few searches online. He knows now, but wont admit he knows. lol. Its so unjust its almost unbelievable, but sadly true. Paternity test ASAP.

Remember, according to everyone else you are all anti-social losers. Lmao. Maxing out 401ks and moving towards or achieving debt free living. Complete freedom to live your lives as you see fit. Losers!! :)

TBH this sub makes me laugh each day. Even some of the more outrageous posts have some truth in them. Just speaking for myself, i just go about my day and enjoy it as much as one can reasonably enjoy the grind. You sound like you're lucky enough to have a job where you make a difference in people's lives directly. That's purpose in and of itself. Don't let women validate who you are - reserve that worth by your own measure.

If i could just share one bit of advice from experience to anyone who is younger and listening. Save and save as early as you can. If you're a MGTOW, even with a smaller salary, you'll be able to save far more than your peers. This will open many options for you later in life. Options that may not even be on your radar until much later on. You may choose to retire early, or continue to work. But to be in the position, where you dont have to work, and having that "fuck you" money to walk at anyti…
