Actually I would care

So…do you get bored with finding out about her? How does she reciprocate the intrigue?

Any tips on how a woman can create emotional sexual tension for her love interest? I feel like I’m bad at reciprocating the romance, emotionally in someone who is already physically attracted to me. I’m fairly shy. He asks a lot about me but doesn’t give me many interests/ topics in return to learn more about him.

You can approach her, but be more friendly and kind rather than aloof or forward. Basically make conversation in a way that would put her at ease.

Yeah I was wondering about their question too. I was just thinking that trying to be friendly instead of aloof is a better approach for shy women. Just act like you are making a friend and have low expectations from the interaction so she doesn’t feel either ignored or like she’s being hit on immediately

As a shy girl I don’t think a guy would get too far with either of these :(

Comfy bed and healthy food in the fridge- items that demonstrate the person takes care of himself and that I’d be comfortable staying over. Items showing he has interests/ creativity/ hobbies

I hear ya. I appreciate respect and anticipation with a date over fear/ desperation from ghosting. Especially with a busy job and hobbies. It helps if there is a tentative date and then you both flirt/ fantasize/ try to surprise each other with something unexpected and fun.

One thing that’s really important to me at least: healthy food, basic staples. No one want to starve through / after a sex session or sleep over and be starving in the morning. Some guys literally have just beer and bread. In my college years and 20s it was unbearable. Please for the love of god have normal healthy food sometimes. Meet my basic needs for spending the night is all I ask.

I do agree sometimes women should but that it’s not something that can be universalized to women in general. I don’t think the majority of women are swooning over men in prison. I don’t get that either. The women who are probably have mental issues or their own trauma experiences or fetishes and the fact that these men are in prison helps them feel safe enough to explore whatever issues they have. As far as women staying with abusive men...abuse doesn’t happen right away and there is a cycle of …

Yes, the main person I’m thinking of was 10 years older. I was also being stalked by another person and he was offering to protect me. Part of my attraction was the idea of safety because he didn’t seem as eager, as I had many men who were very persistent interested at the time. The put downs he used were very subtle when they started.

There are many books attempting to help women from confusing aggression and assertion and preventing them from falling for psychopathic /narcissistic tendencies. It’s not just women who succumb to this and it’s not quite as direct as just treating someone badly, often the approach psychopaths take is more slow and insidious. I’ve met many young men who were attracted to women who treated them badly. I think daughters could be more sheltered and less likely to discuss these things than sons (esp …

Probably I didn't explain myself well. I was trying to point out the motivating reasons why someone in their 20's might be unfortunately attracted to those qualities if they aren't savvy, and how to attract those women without acting sociopathic. For example, showing self-control and not smothering women, demonstrating value in other ways that are less superficial (eg having hobbies, social awareness or perceptiveness, is a healthier way). I guess I believe that if men think women find sociopath…

As a woman...Now that I’m in my 30’s I’m very much NOT attracted to men who make me feel inferior, just as I’m not attracted to someone who is needy. I simply don’t have the energy /time to deal with negative emotions from either of these situations and I don’t respect or admire people who treat others as inferior so I’m turned off by those men. When I was fending off men in my 20’s and less experienced I probably might have been taken by surprise or even felt safer around men who treated me as …

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
