If you want to spot a UK girl, just look for a woman that looks like she's wearing clown make-up Savage and funny, though I'd ask someone from the UK to ascertain the truth value of this statement...

You can see my post in this subreddit for more details, but I had a lot of success by not engaging in "text game". Instead, I would just ask matches right away if they would like to go on a date/grab a drink. You'll be surprised by how many women respond "I'd love to!"

You can see further details in my post on this subreddit, but I think the best strategy is to ask them out on a date with the first message. Being so vulgar as to ask them whether they want to fuck with the first message will get you nowhere, but you'll be surprised by how many women are receptive to skipping texting and going on a date.

I think that the main lesson you should take away from your brief foray into online dating is that your profile(s) and approach were suboptimal and ineffective. But they don't have to be! Rather than quitting online dating, you should adapt your profile(s) and approach and learn to successfully use online dating to score with women or find a girlfriend. u/Canadian-Seductioner already commented, offering that you check out his post for what to improve. I recommend you do that, and I'll also note …

You've given us no context and so we can give no useful advice. Also, I think this should be posted in r/askseddit or r/dating_advice, instead of this subreddit.

If by volume you mean simply the number of women I dated, then I will mention that maximizing the number of women I dated wasn't my primary goal. I dated 32 women in that time period, and had repeat/ongoing "relationships" with 16 of them. If by volume you mean the number of nights I spent with women, then the number is much higher than 32 because as I mentioned, I had ongoing relationships with 16 of those women. I had hundreds more matches on the apps than I was able to date. The limiting fact…

"Want to go out for drinks [on XYZ day]/[this week]/[next week]?" Stop being a pussy and ask her out on a date. That's the point of the app.

My somewhat contrarian, but effective, advice is not to engage in text conversation at all. Simply ask her out on a date. See my post in this subreddit for more detail. As u/daring_innovator says in his comment here, the purpose of texting is to get her on a date. So just be straightforward and ask her on a date. She'll probably respond positively because she matched with you.

I certainly don't have "model-tier looks" and online dating has been very successful for me. I think online dating can be successful for average-looking men if they invest time and resources into their pictures.

For online dating, your written bio is of very marginal importance. Instead you should direct your resources and effort towards improving your photos. I recommend hiring a professional photographer, it was a very high ROI move by me.

"Hi! Are you down to grab drinks [this week/next week/ on XYZ night]?" The above works if you actually want to go on dates. See my post for details.

You can flirt without mentioning sex. In fact, that's the better way to flirt. Another redditor (u/caesarfecit) commented on my post and said that my approach reminded him of the advice given in a particular book called Models. I recommend that you consider reading that guy's post and then buying that book.

Thanks for your comment, I think it's a fair criticism of my perspective of daygame.

Good questions and I'm glad you enjoyed the post. If I were focusing only on finding a long term partner I would not have messaged more before dates, though I would have filtered more women and dated more selectively based on their profiles. You bring up an interesting point on whether my messaging strategy may have selected for women just looking for hookups. I think more than half of the women I was with wanted to find a long-term relationship, but I find plausible that my messaging strategy m…

In my prior round of online dating in which I did not use a pro photographer, which I did not cover in my post, I was significantly less successful in terms of number of quality of matches. However, I still got enough matches to go on dates.

The math does add up. What you calculated is the number of dates I consummated on the first date (you were 1 off, my sheet gives me 15). 7 consummations occurred after the first date.

It absolutely makes a difference. Makes the space much more intimate and people drop their barriers a bit if there's no one else around.

A sense of optionality (knowing that with enough time I could probably find someone more suited to me) kept me from taking things "to the next level" with my dates.

I typically don't bring it up until we've seen each other a fair number of times and I've come to the conclusion that I don't want a long-term relationship with her. Timing differs depending on the lady. Younger women tend to respond more positively and will sometimes continue seeing you.

Save up for the pro photographer, upload those pics into your apps of choice and get out there--you can do it!

For the three items you mentioned, I think between $700-800. But I spent much, much more on my furniture, art and clothes (admittedly these were acquired over a longer period of time and are beneficial outside of strictly dating as well).

I don't have any "techniques." I never tried to conform to a model of behavior during dates. I was mentally present during the conversations. I confirm that I was genuinely interested in the girls. As for topics of conversation, we could cover anything under the sun that both parties found engaging. If I took a girl on three dates, the first would always be to one of the bars/restaurants near me. I typically would not repeat the bar/restaurant date for immediately subsequent dates. The second an…

Thanks for your comment. I think you made a fair criticism. My approach does rely on having a decent disposable income, and therefore some of my advice may not be very useful to those who don't have the same.

Wow, this is an amazing comment, thanks caesarfecit! I really appreciate your analysis considering that I'm not familiar with the conventions and models used by this community. I don't know who this MM person is. I think you're absolutely spot on with point #7. Some of these women were extremely cool and I should have converted them into "nodes" in my social circle, as you call it. Would you have any advice on that or do you think I can pull it off months removed from dating the potential node?

Thanks for your comment and I'm glad you enjoyed the post. My experience between Tinder (with subscription) and Bumble (with subscription) is that Tinder is superior, but between the unpaid versions it may very well be that Bumble is superior. Also worth noting that Tinder and Hinge are owned by the same company, and presumably share a lot of data and processes under the hood. Those were my two most successful apps by far.

Thanks for your comment and I'm happy the post was and will be useful to you. My response to profile prompts were always pithy and I usually plugged a controversial or contrarian answer, which provided an opportunity for a match to begin chatting with me with a conversation starter if she wanted to. I think there may be other posts in this subreddit that go into more detail on profile optimization. I haven't really read them.

I recommend hiring a photographer. Even if you have a nice camera, you won't be experienced handling or making judgments about lighting, depth of field, etc. In my profile photos I wore the type of clothes that I would wear on my first date. They are the type of clothes that I like wearing. I think there may be other posts on this subreddit that go into more depth about how to optimize your profile pictures, but I haven't read them.

I'm not sure. A lot of people say that it's because women outnumber men here, but I suspect there are some other factors at play. Anecdotally, I know a significant number of beautiful and smart female friends and acquaintances who are working high-powered jobs but can't land a solid boyfriend, much less a husband. As their biological clock ticks as they enter and progress through their 30s, they become increasingly desperate.

Thanks for commenting and I'm glad to hear that you enjoyed the post. Unfortunately I didn't collect any data about the women's looks. What kind of data would be helpful? I suppose I can retrospectively add my subjective opinion of the date's looks, but that might not be very helpful and I'm not even sure how I would assign scores. As far as objective measures, I suppose height, weight and bust and posterior measurements would be helpful but I can't collect those retrospectively.

Thanks for commenting and I'm thrilled that you enjoyed the report. I don't wear any jewelry. My wardrobe is not very creative: button-down shirts, chinos and jackets whenever the weather is cool enough.

I think my exact strategy would be difficult to replicate with less than $150,000, because it relied on having a nice apartment with no roommates and the NYC rental market is extremely expensive.
