Same thoughts here. But, that's part of the full spectrum of the men's side of things. The extreme end of the women's goal to gain commitment is feminism.

Ah, I remember that. Lots of comments saying he was being too quick to judge and was obligated to help her, as obviously his first concern should be for his psychotic wife rather than his kids or his own life. Woo.

Yep. Exactly why I am almost entirely under the radar and stay out of the alpha dog park. No signs of sexual receptiveness given, thus no action taken.

Makes sense, wasn't sure as the post didn't specifically state women who go solo. Good post overall, and that part about the girl being overwhelmed-- bingo! Women generally encourage getting rid of that feeling with experience as a good thing. The emotions are just a hindrance. Heck, it's looked down on among women to have that excitement when bonding. I went a long time with the idea that having no relationship or partner history was a bad thing due to what other women were telling me. "Blushin…

It was always a theme of those with good daddies Perhaps more like those that have good relationships with their fathers? Ime the father can be a bad parent, but if the relationship is still functioning with that taken into account, it works.

Interested on RP's thoughts on this one: what about the virgin women who have only pleasured themselves? Does that count as loss of innocence to you? In the scenario she is aware enough to abstain from partners, but still struggling with her libido in that meantime. Cough cough I'm asking for a friend...

There's no way to mark his commitment or enforce it socially without marriage. Once she gives him sex, she's lost her virginity, and there is no consequence or abnormality if he wants another woman. There's no further commitment on his part than when they started dating. As for marriage, there is still some social consequence if either person cheats, especially in a conservative crowd or family. Looks like if you marry a woman from a mainstreamer field, she has an edge, but marrying a woman with…

Not really; if she truly loves him, she'll give him sex. What will he do to show he trusts her? (Edit:) Once she loses her V-card, she has lost one of her most significant qualities.

You are the gatekeeper of sex. We are the gatekeepers of commitment. Exactly. I think if I'm going to give up my ultimate turf (sex), then I want the man's turf as well (commitment). I could understand better if the TRP men not wanting to sign papers are the ones okay with a woman who simply has a low partner count, but it isn't balanced to expect a woman to give the full deal as stated while not give her his entire end as well.

I mean the TRP man wants his young, pretty, virgin, exclusive lady, and doesn't want to lay down the commitment of marriage on his part besides perhaps being exclusive as well. But, as capt-next-a-hoe said above, I can see it being more agreeable if they have the ceremony, something with a vow and public witness that yes, they are officially monogamous and "together." That seems to be the most my view will change on it. I still think a man refusing to put it on paper is iffy, and personally not …

Ah, I could see that being more agreeable... having the ceremony but not the legal paper contract. Just looks like a stumbling block in trust, that the man has doubts about her and believes she would abuse her upper hand in divorce

It doesn't seem like any virgin wife material woman would agree to a ltr only. Don't have to worry about divorce if you're confident she won't want to divorce, or maybe feel safe enough taking the chance if she's high enough quality.

Adding: don't confuse the psycho dads with bad dads. Fathers with mental issues may warrant caution from their daughters and at first glance not what you would call a "good" relationship. If she understands he's got a screw loose and isn't badmouthing him like public enemy #1 in her life, that's the good sign. It's still possible for the daughter to respect and love him, and there may be some mutual bond there, but it is not based on the nurturing or unconditional kind of love found in normal fu…

Do not hunt unicorns. Do not put a ring on it. Give women only the intimacy they earn. Do not bargain with them, do not make deals with them, give them no promises, enforceable or not. Always be able to walk away. That is your power. Do not give it away. Based on the assumption there are absolutely no wife material women you encounter, that works. Yet there are wife material young women in the world, I can't be the only one hearing an echo of the feminists' "There aren't any good men anymore" co…

I'm slightly rustled over that reception in TRP. But, eh, I shrugged and stopped posting, thinking, "Let 'em do their thing." I didn't get instantly banned, but they didn't treat me directly as a female. I edited the post right after posting it and realizing, gadzooks, the rules have a don't ask/tell policy, must remove mah gender. It was something about RP for women (oh hey, I wonder if there's a sub for that!) and some men saying not to bother, AWALT, no woman would accept the RP or traditiona…

Woops, I got the term wrong then! Sounds like it makes more sense that way. I figure a husband is going to have some beta traits; a 100% alpha to me is someone who has a trophy wife and a mistress on the side. I meant a totally submissive person when I said beta in the above context. I don't think my standards are that high, considering I fit them and so do some married men I've seen. Just no one my age in an area known for keg stands.

I understand you and u/tintedlipbalm. "Unicorn" is just the term used over in TRP. Subjective stuff aside, being 19, female, no relationship/intimate history, not a landwhale or basement dweller seems like a combination so rare everyone assumes it doesn't exist. I haven't met anyone in this college area that would be exclusive, alright with physical intimacy without premarital sex, has similar traditional/religious views, and isn't beta or carrying a criminal record. I'm starting to think a male…

Yes, narc mother and a BPD father. I started putting together a family tree tracking the way relatives met/married and what PD symptoms they displayed most prominently in life. The basic formula is that the Narcissist relative would only marry a Borderline relative. The Narcissist could go around with a few people crazier (outwardly) than they were, and the Borderline ones would have disappointment-filled tries at "higher-ranking" people, but these would not be significant long term relationship…

I didn't necessarily choose any side, I just post where I please and personally lean toward a traditional/country value set. Being 19, attending a good university, never-kissed, with a decent body and all makes me a unicorn? Due to other priorities and some religious values I just never went the modern woman route. I've found there are members on either the "blue" side and the "red" side that can be hostile toward me. I figure that makes me a moderate or only light RP if at all considered... I p…

Oh shit snickerdoodles, I'll try. I've been thinking about some self-control challenge to do that I could track like this. Labeling all negative thoughts as they come and trying not to think of them is so broad, it's been discouraging. Let's do it a step at a time.

Welp, I must be an outlier then. Due to religious beliefs and how I attach to people. However, I would only marry someone with similar religious beliefs and is also a virgin or has a very low partner count. I'd go further to say that no woman really wants a top 1% man either. A true alpha is a guy with a trophy wife and a side hoe/concubine. Both sexes have to compromise somewhat to have a pleasant, working marriage.

Clarify for me: is it appropriate for women to mention their gender as long as it is not the typical "as a woman/mother..." comment? Yea or nay for allowing female posters here?

Nah, I mean I think RP would be beneficial for women to take note of, as in RPW. Imo there aren't any teachings nowadays (besides RPW) for women to... be women. It's all this "girl power/be yourself" bullshit, nothing to do with embracing the female role. Edit: can't phrase worth shit

Ol' central FL. The universities in FL are pretty big on partying, but I find many people blend into the classroom and simply commute. I lived in DC for a while, I shrivel up in city settings! I need some fields! Oough.

Oh shit yes to the first bit there. On my campus, a lot of the men are feminine or sort of... "meh." I'm soaked when I see the military or country guys, and there are certainly some of the gym goers that are attractive by appearance. I'm gradually concluding that this just is not the place I want to date in, I prefer Texas, Colorado, Tennessee, or the Carolinas. University life in Florida isn't so good. There are rednecks here, but hardly any country or traditional men... I'm a rural/traditional…

The more our existence is known, the more women collectively guard against our efforts to subvert their bullshit. I was relieved when I found such a thing as RP exists. I started in RPW and realized TRP sub was the original. Hopefully I convert more ladies to RPW, it seems like many don't understand how not to be part of the gynocentric society.

I've never met a woman who actually does that, but I hear about them all the time. Mostly from women. City/suburban women, more often? I find this kind of bullshit among city or suburban women in my peer group (19+ years old), not nearly as often in country, rural, or older women.

I believe the height preference is about a difference in height overall; to women 4" shorter than you, you're tall enough.

I agree with the study. I don't have much of an opinion on how many partners a man has and how it affects him; just by the nature of being a male, it isn't as detrimental. In the ideal world both men and women would be virgins when they marry, or be a "mate for life" species. For men it just isn't wise to have many partners due to the diseases, infections, and unwanted children (child support traps, etc.) that can happen as a result, I also believe having a history of other women to compare thei…

Oh, it's already an idea. Tinder. Dating sites. Those corny magazines in the waiting room you'd never read. Step 1: state gender, picture, location, and intent for casual hookup. Step 2: choose from the many matches flooding you. Merely dress to impress if a certain body type/personality of guy is desired. Source: am not a particularly "pretty" or "sexy" girl, made a profile on a site, bam: 2-5 matches a day.

From what I've seen with picky women, they blame having to settle on the available men not being good enough for her, not on her being unable to attract that better male. Ooo kill 'em, kill 'em! That's accurate. For a moment I was starting to wonder, "Why do I see so many women settling for less, though, if they prefer superior mates?" Ah... those women indeed are quite low in the food chain in many ways.

Not sure why this made me think of spiders. Little male spider tries his heart out to get a mate, finally gets his moment of glory, then lets her eat him. Poor spider bro.

Pardon my lack of knowhow, still new to the terminology here: so the thing is that women tend to marry up, yes? They naturally choose long term mates who are superior to them? And men will choose any long term mate who accepts them?

I think I see what you were trying to say, but how you said it was too open. You meant that in the event of someone consenting to sex first, and then saying no, it cannot be proven as rape legally, aye? I am not feministic, usually lean conservative, but in the event of a woman agreeing to vaginal intercourse and saying no to sodomy, but the partner continuing; that... would be rape. In practice it is tough to draw the line and back out when a partner had initially agreed, but it should be expec…

This trend started with more centralized societies, True, I felt this way too. Humans are out of their element the "easier" we make society, eliminating the survival need for good relationships, etc.

Meh. I lean red pill and advocate marriage, I say the older man/younger woman combination is usually preferred with both genders involved. No college education? I haven't seen anything saying that in TRP but I'm sure you have your sources from a couple posters. I think a woman who has college debt and is currently full time in college shouldn't marry until she has college cleared up. She can be educated, just not having it as a top priority at the time. Anyone else in college here can tell you t…

I also found out a lot has to do with where you are, what position you put yourself in affects who shows interest in you and vice versa. I don't put myself in the places where my 'type' is; farm guys or avid outdoorsmen. I go to class, study or nap between class, go home, that's it. So I'm not around the guys I prefer and the ones who would prefer a farm girl like me aren't around or are doing the same thing I am.

We're talking more about how a woman can show she can take care of herself neatly, it's more than simply caking on the makeup or doing up her hair. Most of the people I see in the gym are men, and female athletes, hardly any "normal" women go in or even do much work once setting a foot over the threshold. Becoming fit as a woman takes more effort than it does for a man due to our lack of testosterone; it is harder to accomplish. Plenty of men are attracted to just good genetics and makeup/hairst…

Personally, I was surprised such a thing as TRP existed as a "thing"--- a written concept in opposition to feminism. I grew up with some Catholic influence, though the people it came from were malevolent to me. I questioned all the religious concepts I was given and explored much of Christianity. So I saw the extremes fairly often. A bad Catholic marriage where the woman was bitter, sad, and often stomped on, and the man was angry, indecisive, and overwhelmed. I saw where things could go wrong a…

Eeexactly. Being a supportive role can be less 'glorious', but it doesn't make the supportive role inferior. I get irritated when I see people in assistant or helper positions slacking off because they feel being the assistant means they aren't important and can't do much. There's a ton to do as the assistant, get off your ass and help out. I work and live on farm, when I have to work alongside men I let them know that if they can do better than me in some area like lifting or other labor tasks,…

I've felt and observed the maternal instinct for platonic female-male relationships, too.... In high school I felt it, I was the odd girl out for not conforming to the whole boy-crazy, gossip, makeup, attention-seeking trend. I was the opposite and played low-key to avoid stress and managed my time better. But, some boys still sought me out for attention, and I always turned them down right away when it came between spending time or attention on them or time and attention on my classes or more i…

I think it's the difference between keeping everything to yourself, and speaking your mind without undermining him. You don't have to lie or disagree. He says, "I'm going to walk to (shady gas station)." You might think that's stupid. You can say, "Alright. That's a triflin' neighborhood. See you by lunch time." IMO the woman should, because it helps keep our fitness up. Unless you both work out about the same amount, I would take the most chores around the house. I expect the man to do the heavy lifting, like when something breaks or such.
