I had an interesting thought, could be correlation or causation. This is a false fact. There are female-led mammals. Lemurs, Orcas, and African elephants have all been witnessed to have female leads. Hell, even African lions have female-led prides. For mammals, definitely mostly male-led but not entirely. For the entire animal kingdom, I'd almost suggest that there is more female-led species than not.
