Every engineer I know is either single or in a long-term relationship/marriage with his first serious GF. I’m the former.

That's not introversion. That's social anxiety. For better or worse, the best way to combat social anxiety is with practice and exposure.

If a girl actually did ask you that, treat it like a shit test or just give a straight response that isn’t, “To meet girls.”

There’s no reason not to pay for gold if you have the money. You wouldn’t question dropping $25 on a date with a girl you’ll never see again. You wouldn’t question paying a $20 cover at a bar that’s having “ladies drink free night.” But for some reason when it comes to dating apps men refuse to spend a dime.

Ask questions based on the context where you met. Or if it’s a dating app ask questions related to her profile. Or ditch questions and just make a statement. The more polarizing the better. Also remember that boring interview questions aren’t bad in moderation. It just becomes boring if they’re all you can ask.

Correct but attraction shouldn’t be thought of as a binary “she’s either into me or we’re never gonna go on a date” scale. A girl can decide she’s physically attracted to you immediately but want to get a feel for you before agreeing to a date. The girl who you made out with on Saturday night might be fine with you asking her out in the first or second text the next day, but a girl you had 5 minute conversation with might not be ready to commit to a date immediately even if she does find you att…

I don’t consider that double-texting but make sure you don’t send a disproportionate amount based on how she’s responding. If she’s giving 1-2 sentence responses every time and you’re giving 3-4 that’s an issue.

One I’ve recently realized I’m very guilty of that’s not on this list is trying to make every message open-ended and easy to respond to. Another one is that I’ve stopped following the “no-bullshit” approach constantly recommended by this subreddit that texting should only be for logistics. Pushing hard for a meetup when a girl is still trying to feel you out will push her away. Women can tell when you’re doing these things and they come off as needy. These days I just keep the conversation casua…

but I can’t seem to reconcile with the fact that anything over 3 sexual partners is a no-go for me when it comes to a serious relationship
/r/seduction22/06/22 11:41 PM

Buddy if you think 3 sexual partners is a lot, that suggests that you either have had less than 3 partners right now or are a hypocrite. So don’t come at the people here accusing them of lacking experience when you clearly don’t have much yourself. Most of the advice here will be catered toward meeting women who are willing to have sex with a guy before entering a committed relationship with him, since a majority of the guys here want to get laid. Because most advice comes with that bias, the ad…

I’m currently an engineer highly contemplating getting into sales. Every sales guy I know is charismatic as fuck and makes more money than me. What’s not to like?

When I get married some day, I don’t want to feel like I’m “settling” or could do better if I had better dating skills. I don’t want to feel like I missed out on the experience of casually dating, having sex, enjoying being single, and making myself feel like a high-status man.
/r/seduction22/06/22 10:26 PM

Girls have a wide variety of preferences just like men. The only difference between men and women is that finding casual sex is a lot easier for them. That doesn’t mean all of them want casual sex. Many are serial monogamists, have lots of one-night stands, or are casual daters. If every single girl you date has 1 or 2 dudes who she’s casually fucking, that says more about the type of women you date than women in general.

she’s had 5 boyfriends, given the length of those relationship, it’s fair to assume she’s had sex with all 5, add to that 2 flings Idk what’s more hilarious to me, that you think 7 sexual partners is a lot or that you think a girl who has had 5 boyfriends has only had 2 non-committed sexual relationships.

Yeah everyone loves to harp on the “just shower” advice, but I’d be willing to bet a majority of men who struggle with their appearance don’t have perfect hair, skin, teeth, and hygiene. 99% of guys don’t have a skincare routine that consists of more than one product.
/r/seduction22/06/22 09:56 PM

Guys who lack in the looks department but know how to make a women laugh are hands down way more successful with women than any good looking dude. Within reason. Guys that are above-average and have an average personality aren't gonna slay, but guys who are extremely attractive can have the personality of wet cardboard and still get women.

Topical minoxidil doesn't go systemic at nearly high enough quantities to have a significant effect on your heart. Especially considering you only need to use it for a couple years for beard gains instead of a lifetime. There are dudes on /r/tressless taking >5mg of oral minoxidil per day and are fine.

Location and time commitment are huge factors that many people here don’t like to talk about. Meeting people in population centers is much easier than suburbs and rural areas. Even better if you’re in a tourist-heavy area. Vegas is probably one of the best places in America to meet people for casual relationships right up there with New York City. Maybe Miami or Nashville can remotely compare with the combination of nightlife, tourists, and young people. Time commitment is huge. Many of the guys…

Maybe we have different scales, but IMO unless you have some sort of significant flaws, everyone can be a 7. A 7 to me is basically just an average guy who is very well put together, or an above-average guy who doesn’t put much extra effort into his appearance.

A long-ass time. Just like how you wouldn’t work out for 2 months and expect six-pack abs, you shouldn’t expect your mental health to improve overnight. I can’t say when it happened for me, but I know for certain that in early 2017 I had very poor self-esteem and didn’t think of myself as an attractive man even though I was reasonably good-looking. Until around 2016 I was fairly unattractive and knew it, which caused damage to my self-image. Until 2014 I was unattractive and didn’t even care to …

If you tell yourself something enough, and more importantly silence the thoughts that say otherwise, your attitude will eventually shift. It’s not something that happens overnight, but it definitely can be done over time.

Seduction is not about manipulation. 99% of the advice here is about how to become a man women are attracted to, not how to trick women into being attracted to a man she otherwise wouldn’t be attracted to. It’s not “manipulative” to tell a guy that self-depreciating humor isn’t sexy, he needs to dress better, and that women like confident, assertive guys. It’s not manipulative to remind men that women want to be touched by guys they’re into, and women want to be kissed on dates. It’s absolutely …

IMO basically any guy can become a 7/10 unless he’s severely deformed in some way. Especially if you’re above average height and have a full head of hair. If you’re losing hair, hop on finasteride immediately. If you’re shorter, you’re still far from hopeless. Work out, dress well, maintain a healthy weight, find a hairstyle and beard that suits you, and have a skincare routine. Do those things and you’ll instantly become an above-average man. You may not have the facial structure of Channing Ta…

Half plus 7 is the rule I like to go with. Also if you’re in your mid-20s, at least date someone who is 21. I’m 27 now and the widest gaps I’ve dated seriously were a 19 year-old when I was 22 and a 22 year-old when I was 27. If you’re dating teenagers when you’re in your late-20s, you’re either trying to take advantage of the power dynamic or you’re really immature for your age. You should both be at completely different stages in life and have completely different levels of maturity. Even if i…

or you weren’t flirting correctly or at all. Adding too this: You came on either too clingy or too uninterested. Women don’t want to waste their time with a guy who they can’t tell is interested or not. Women also don’t want to date a guy who sees her as future wife material when she barely knows him yet.

Apply the fitness concept of progressive overload. Learn to approach girls while 10 beers deep, then move to 9, then 8… and after a few years you’ll be approaching girls sober.
/r/seduction24/03/22 11:36 PM

Exactly. “Game” is mostly just mimicking what guys who are naturally good at dating do. 99% of game is just learning to have the guts to approach girls, act confident, read when a girl is attracted to you, escalate accordingly, and don’t say anything stupid that will make the girl lose attraction to you. Literally every guy who is successful at dating does that, whether or not they have to think about it.

Wake up early for “me time” and work out in the morning was made my bullshit detector go off. Getting up early sucks ass, and not everyone likes it. There’s nothing wrong with getting up later and working out in the afternoon or evening.
/r/seduction14/03/22 06:53 PM

Meh. Being white might have an advantage, but the only people who really harp on that are non-whites making excuses. Sure it might be slightly harder if your black, Indian, or whatever, but the game is still the same. And there’s plenty of women who either don’t care or are into guys of a different race.

Right? I’ve been trying to get more good photos of myself while doing interesting things, and even just asking for someone to take a simple photo makes me feel like an asshole. Asking someone to take several photos and critiquing the camerawork sounds unpleasant. But it’s necessary to take photos if you wanna be good at taking photos.
/r/seduction13/02/22 06:49 PM
3

Approaching a girl, telling her you think she’s attractive, and striking up a conversation with her is about as direct as it gets. You can’t just say, “Hi wanna fuck?” because women need to gauge guys and feel comfortable around them before committing to a date or hookup.
/r/seduction01/02/22 05:58 PM

It’s hard to say without knowing exactly what your particular position is. If you were smart in your 20s, you shouldn’t need to be busting your ass in your 30s to be secure financially. Like I said, the most foolproof way to develop socially is to move to a population center and put effort into being social every day. Daygame, Meetup groups, classes, social clubs, and bars. Any lifestyle changes that put you in that direction will benefit you.
/r/seduction01/02/22 05:40 PM

I’d like to point out though that OPs situation isn’t quite comparable. If you’re crippled by debt, it makes it a lot harder to go out and be social. Actively putting effort into meeting people is hard work. Developing social skills from scratch is damn near a full-time job. The most “foolproof” way to get good at this shit is to move to a large city and literally go out every single day with the goal of talking to strangers. It’s not impossible by any means, but if you’re financially in a bad s…

Depends where the location is honestly. If you’re approaching in a bar or club, you can put that same spin on her. You know the reason she’s all dressed up with her friends on a Friday night. You know the reason she’s being friendly and willing to listen to your bullshit. It’s because you both want the same thing. There is no “winner by default” in that scenario. Just two people playing the same game.

If you: Wear cologne Shower every day Don’t use shampoo every day Have a skincare routine that includes moisturizer and sunscreen Style your hair Have fresh breath when going out You have a hygiene routine that’s better than at least 90% of men. Don’t neglect that shit, but remember what OP said: good hygiene alone won’t get you dates.

Every time I try to follow this, I end up getting ghosted before the date. Idk it feels like if you just cut the bullshit, lots of women seem to think that’s a sign of not being interested. Not sure what to change about my texting style though.

I don’t even know where you’d go to daygame in Minneapolis. My entire social life is in bars and evening activities. There doesn’t seem to be places where single people just “hang out” especially during the day.

I would love to live in Miami, but my field is engineering and it seems like it’s not a very good city for that. I really want a remote job so I can get out of my current state.

In Seattle specifically most people aren’t very receptive to meeting new people. It’s very common for people to have an established group of friends and little interest in meeting new people. This is also a big issue in the Midwest. Here in Minnesota it’s extremely common for people to keep hanging out with their friends from high school or college into their 30s.

Yeah you get over it all with enough experience. You dread getting rejected in-person. The first time it happens you feel kinda bad, but realize it’s way less bad than you feared. Eventually you don’t care when a girl declined. Then you dread getting ghosted by the girls who didn’t reject you. It sucks when it first happens, but every time it happens, it fazes you less and less. Eventually you don’t worry about rejections and just focus on the success.

That part I don’t know 🙁 Everyone I know succeeds at dating by one of the 3 routes: They somehow get lots of matches and attention on dating apps. They are naturally outgoing. They stumbled into a relationship despite having zero dating skills and will most likely end up marrying their first gf. I’m just out here feeling left out because I think option 3 sounds miserable and options 1 and 2 don’t come naturally to me.

I assume every guy on this forum that practices daygame either lives in NYC, LA, Vegas, or Miami. Good fucking luck trying to find social venues to meet people if you live in a smaller metropolitan area where you can’t just stumble upon single women every time you leave the house.

Where the fuck are you finding professional photographers that will do a photoshoot for $200? Checking around Facebook and Craigslist all I can find are wedding and couples photographers. The photographers that do photos for social media personalities, how would I find them?

What was the shirtless pic out of curiosity? I’ve contemplated just doing a funny mirror selfie to see what it can do. Finding good lighting outdoors or at a normal place isn’t easy.

What do you recommend for a guy looking to get new photos? I don't have a whole lot of any photos and want to fix that. Do you hire a photographer? Ask your buddy's wife to help? Ask one of the boys to help? I feel like the formula is pretty simple: Heavily edited upper body shot in casual (but nice) clothes with bokeh effect for the profile pic Dog photo Photo in a suit Photo doing something Photo with another person (to show that you have friends) But getting all those photos is such a fucking…

The shirtless one is such a wildcard honestly. If you're in good shape, a shirtless photo will probably not get a lot of matches, but the ones that do match will be very interested and know what they want. If you're in average or bad shape, a shirtless photo is never a good idea.

Then work on being attractive while you’re at it. I’m not a Chad by any means, but I’m tall, fit, and my face is pleasant to look at. In addition I have lots of hobbies, a decent job, and an all-around interesting life. Sure it would be nice if I had supermodel face genetics, but I don’t need them. Truth is I know guys way less attractive and desirable than me who do way better with women because they’re outgoing and personable.
/r/seduction06/01/22 12:24 AM

Then don’t be a simp and you’ll immediately stand out.
/r/seduction05/01/22 05:32 AM

Simply having the balls to approach a woman instantly puts you above all the men she knows who didn’t approach her. Social media and online dating are a double-edged sword because while they inflated the egos of women, they also made most men even less likely to approach women.
/r/seduction05/01/22 05:30 AM

The hardest part is that a good career, exercise, fashion, and maintaining a nice place of living takes a lot of time. And if you don’t have any other hobbies, you’ll come off as boring. So now you need to handle all that shit plus put effort into dating on top of it. It’s really fucking hard! Which is why it’s important to start as soon as possible. I wasted my early 20s for no good reason and now I’m finally in a good position, but have to learn the game from scratch.

Where else can you think of where single women go specifically looking to meet men?
/r/seduction27/12/21 04:13 AM

Is there a way to get feedback on those things online? Like my facial hair is pretty decent, I think I have a haircut that suits me well, I don't dress like an idiot, and I'm more physically fit than 99% of dudes my age. I'm absolutely average or slightly above average, but with dating apps I get basically zero attention. I just don't know what more I can do on my own.
/r/seduction23/07/21 12:51 PM
3

Can you make another post about how to be attractive? And then how to convey that attractiveness in a dating profile?
/r/seduction23/07/21 03:10 AM
9

Both matter. An anxious/avoidant dude who can't make eye contact or approach women without coming off as a nervous wreck is gonna struggle with women even if he's conventionally hot. An average dude who legitimately believes every woman wants to fuck him until proved otherwise will do better. But an attractive dude with confidence will always be best off.
