4	"Predator" is a becoming a meaningless buzzword here because it hints that the man may be falsely signaling he’s serious for some other nefarious purpose, presumably sex. This sentence doesn’t mean what you think it does. If he’s “falsely signaling” that he’s interested for a “nefarious purpose”, then it means he isn’t interested because of nefarious reasons. Also, I’m curious to hear why being sexually interested in someone is axiomatically considered nefarious. Or is it the case only if the interested party is male?
