This. Once you actually practise a martial art, you realise how difficult and dangerous real fighting is. Even with years of training, anything can go wrong, which is why all respectable martial artist will tell you that the first option is always to run away when confronted with danger. Fighting is only the last resort... And you pray that your life-long practice won't fail you in what could be a decisive moment in your life.
