| 1 | So my gf stopped taking the pill 4-6 months ago, without telling me, and last week found out that she's 17 weeks pregnant.Just as an FYI- the reason why they are telling her to make plans as a single parent is because a lot of guys will leave once they realize that is an option. Some leave during pregnancy, some after a few months- but many just leave. I'm not saying you will, but that is why she was counseled that way.
