well after the first or second you're not exclusive though right? so i think people just use the word talking in reference to that time..though sometimes you never really progress from there...

i kind of a agree with but do you feel like after every first date you go on it should be understood that you're now in a committed/exclusive relationship? i always thought people did that to figure out if they wanted to actually commit to the person.

why do you hate "talking"? and i thought playing the field was still accepted..

well he didn't actually say it so who knows what he was calling me. regardless i embraced the fact that he was pointing out that i prefer when the guys are good looking when i said "haha. thanks."...so yeah i did realize it.

LOL i guess if you wanna put it that way. i'm not gonna deny the fact that i prefer to be hit on by guys i find attractive versus the homeless men 40 years my senior that i usually get....buuuut call me shallow all ya want.

So what will you do from now on?

Rejection is a scary thing. How would you feel about this issue if the girl was smiling at you and batting her eyelashes? Basically making it obvious that she is interested

It's true, I'm one person and you should still do what feels right. I think a lot of what annoys me about this situation is that it's typically with homeless men twice my age. I feel like if it was a decent guy my age I would actually like it. I should have specified that earlier..

Honestly through friends and at parties. I feel like it wouldn't bother me as much meeting random guys in the street if they weren't twice my age and I wasn't honestly way out of their league. That's what annoys me more than anything..

I'm not gonna lie, attractiveness plays a part in how receptive I am but I have never actually went out with a guy I've met on the street. Usually because of the way guys do it or because I'm in a rush so the whole exchanging contact info thing is completely out of the question.

it depends on the approach. if you just compliment me that's not really as desperate as following me begging for my number or something.. edited!

Not really..Partly because a lot of times the guys that come up to me, I've seen repeatedly throughout the night and can either confirm or deny if they've talked to 13 girls before me..Also, at least it's a bar and not 11AM next to the library or something.

Not gonna lie, every time a guy hits on me on the street, I kinda assume that I am girl number 14 for the day that he's used the line on.. edit: I just wanna specify that what annoys me about this is more the GUYS that hit on me, as in the fact that they are twice my age and homeless. I feel like if the guy was in my age group and decent, it wouldn't bother me as much and I might actually like it. I should have said this earlier.

No I am not her but that was legitimately the best compliment I think I have ever received in my life..

Sometimes but a lot of times I wouldn't even know what to say or it's some dumb question that they answer and the whole exchange is over o.O.. It is easier at parties which would explain why guys usually approach me there.

Haha wish I didn't feel like such a douche for saying it though but it really is the truth.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
