Most men who do that usually are dumb and have run out of arguments for their case or just don't understand what you said, but they understand how to be a bully.

Start taking that shit to HR until they deal with it or fire you. If the latter, hire an employment attorney and get a couple years worth of pay to comfortably find your next job. I don't know how fat you are, but I'm a big dude and have found getting long shirts solve the showing your belly problem when sitting. Hold your head high and stop staring at the floor. Look people in the eye. If they are going to be shitty to you, make them see you while they are doing it. Ignore women who don't treat…

There is nothing worse than paying child support for a child you don't or can't see. Fight to be in their life. It is worth it.

You are going to need a lawyer regardless of how she is with you as an unmarried couple. Don't wait or you will be fighting an uphill battle once she decides to get things official.

I wasn't including all women. Really just the vocal feminist minions. Plenty of women have the same hobbies as men and should enjoy them with other people who also enjoy them.
/r/MensRights28/06/26 05:55 PM

The feminists believe men do their deal making and networking in these spaces and they are being excluded. Feminists also want safe spaces without men. They can't fathom that men want the same thing. Feminism can't see from any perspective other than woman centered.

Reading comprehension is hard. You see the women's posts because they post about these things far more than men. They post far more of everything than men so on social media.

All true. Me and my wife are very intentional in including friends who don't have partners in our social life, because we know this. We are also intentional to be friends individually with them, not just as a couple. We also don't ask about dating. They will bring it to if they want to talk. We don't want to make them feel bad. Male connection does make it easier not having the partner. It also makes it easier to be emotionally in a good place when a potential partner is in your life.

I have a friend who has gone to multiple dating events like speed dating and there were no women there at all. Just men. You see the women post on social media because women post on social media far more than men do. I don't know how many male friends I have that only use social media to wish people a happy birthday and on their birthday and maybe to argue about sport. Every other post in their feed is them tagged at something with their wife, girlfriend, or sisters. On the other hand I don't kn…

It's not that women don't need men. They don't need a husband or partner in the modern world. Society provides most of what husband or partners did for them. The problem is children, particularly boys need fathers, and society has decided that the father's utility is mostly determined by his ability to provide and thus doesn't need to be present. This leads to men being cast aside to only provide money to support their children. This is true with intact and broken families. Men will work longer …

You need two attorneys right now. A divorce attorney and a criminal defense attorney. Make sure they are good ones. I would start with the divorce attorney and get them to recommend the criminal attorney, because they are going to know which ones are best at protecting your future where you are at right now. A DV arrest and charge is a big fucking deal. Even if you plea down, get it dismissed, or are found not guilty it will follow you. You are going to have to answer those questions on job appl…

Smart man. I would just have the rule that I don't meet with anyone alone in my office to avoid issues like this. Everyone treated the same, even though it is the women issue that created the boundary.

You do miss the point. Your other comment in this thread shows it. You seem to think it is okay for women to judge men as a group, but want men to judge women as individuals.

Yes that comment is great, but yours seems to miss the point. It doesn't just apply with men towards women. It would apply also for women towards men. You do realize that OP is saying he doesn't feel safe around women at all.

Not an age so much as a stage in life. They have just left their husband because they weren't happy and suddenly all the male attention they were getting goes away. The guys were down for a good time while they were being supported by another man, but not so much when they aren't. They may not fully realize it, but the ramifications of over-estimating their market value are hitting them. Suddenly "ALL MEN" keeps coming out of their mouths.

14 or 15 years ago I flipped the script on dating apps. I said right in the profile I wouldn't make the first move in the app. I said that the for women the signal to noise ratio was too high, and that to overcome that they would need to reach out first. I went from a few responses to close to 100 initiations by women on one app. After making those changes I met my wife. The new apps are so picture focused, I'm not sure that would work anymore.

Does it matter. To the bear choosers, if it were just one man, then it's all men. We are universally responsible for the behavior of all other men. It doesn't matter if you never have sexually assaulted a woman; have taught your boys to also not sexually assault a woman; and have disrupted, shamed, or corrected public behavior of other men that crosses the line. You didn't stop the one that hurt or scared them. They demand individual agency, but refuse to accept that same individual agency of me…

Yes, a space like that would be good. Going through divorce I exhausted all my close connections including family. I could have used a place to talk to others going through similar things. The problem is that after going through all that, I was exhausted and unable to do it for anyone else. I think this is common for men. They make it through to the other side, but have nothing in the emotional tank to help others.

This is why in many salaried positions they have everyone filling in time sheets. The hours will justify any pay disparity, because any woman who is working the same schedules and doing the same output as the men in most organizations is going to have similar success and pay raises.

No one would find it funny. Just like it's funny for a woman to stack and burn a man's possessions when she is scorned, but abusive for a man to do the same thing. The myth that women are powerless, and any action that shows them as powerful is good runs throughout our society. To me this scene was disturbing. She put enough thought into it to get the baby oil and coat the floor and step back to trap him into a "helpless" position so she can whip him with a belt. This is real psychopathic shit. …

This isn't a hot take, it's just a bad one. Everyone deserves basic decency. If someone in your life isn't treating you decently, get them out of your life. People are terrible at enforcing boundaries in their life, and then want to blame others for how they allow themselves to be treated. There are plenty of societal issues with how men are treated, but the solution isn't treating women poorly. That is simply a race to the bottom and everyone comes out worse for it.

This makes me sad, because these men represent the ones who survived the accusations. They weren't falsy convicted, murdered by a vigilante, or died by suicide. The truth is that most women who are sexually assaulted are so ashamed of what happened or traumatized by the event, that they don't come forward. That leaves a not insignificant number of the cases that get filed as false accusations by vindictive and evil people who have no qualms destroying someones life for their own gain or pleasure…

That's an old article. The truth is that guys who just want to smash and run and happen to be really good looking have low standards on what they smash. This makes the average looking woman and worse believe that they can land a high value guy, when they can't, but they keep sleeping with them hoping it will turn out different, because the fantasy in their head has been partially validated. Most guys are going to be better off meeting women in the real world, where more than selfie matters.

It's largely financial. The current crop of older men hold the retirement assets through their careers. Staying married to someone needing that level of care, will deplete that money before Medicare takes over. The divorce is only ending the legal bond that can be used to leave the other person destitute after taking care of their partner. If the wife holds the assets and the husband is sick, then this often would be the best course for her too. That situation is just not as common with baby boo…

Get used to it. Every female dominated field treats the men as predators. I've heard of male nurses not being allowed to enter rooms without another nurse, even when that rule doesn't apply to the female nurses. The only male elementary school teachers who I've seen not treated like you describe are the openly gay ones, and they get a shit storm of other poor treatment. Because of how divorce works in the US and most of the western world, these outcomes aren't comparable. Dads get the kids when the mom isn't available (prison, disappeared, dead) or is so egregiously terrible that even with blinders on the court can't ignore the risks of putting the kids in her care. The Dads in this sample are fundamentally at an advantage for outcomes. Outcomes for kids raised by Moms where the father died or is away for work (oil fields, military, etc.) are better too, this i…

That may sound like poetic justice, but it's not. The sad truth is the real victim of this will have to answer to those charges every time they come up. Expunging a record doesn't really make it go away depending on the level of the background investigation. My last BG included any arrest records which don't go away. Also, if anyone chooses to accuse him again of doing something of this nature, this will be used against him, even though he didn't do anything. A prosecutor will simply say "This i…

Consider military brats. They are often raised by essentially a single mother who is excited about the father and is constantly encouraging the child to love the other parent even when they aren't there.
/r/MensRights11/08/22 08:10 PM

The problem with that stat is that so few fathers win custody in contested cases. With the courts proclivity to give women a pass on so many issues, the men who win often either have to be extraordinary or the women they were with have to be extraordinarily bad. The largest number of single fathers are widowers in the stats that I have seen in the past. You will find similar stats when kids are raised by widows, because the other parent isn't being degraded even though they aren't present.

Short term win for women. Men after adjusting their budget for CS and alimony begin recovering and are used to less when that money comes back in their paycheck. Women lose that income after kids are grown and haven't prepared for that. They often are in debt beyond their individual ability to pay without CS, so end up much worse off. It's not the divorce that causes it, but their own behavior. I wish I could find the paper, but can't now. There was a study that showed women ended up with better…

It's a stats game. Take the annual income of all men compared to that of all women, and that's the number you get. Doesn't account for the job or hours worked, or experience. Just annual income. Even when it only counts full-time, the number of hours worked is dramatically different. At one point men worked on average 20% more hours on average. Men also work at jobs that pay more by a huge margin. Jobs like IT, engineering, skilled trades, and undesirable jobs. You have to compare the effective …

This has always been the case to a lesser degree. She is morally and ethically wrong in her actions, because her actions damage others. His is worse though, because he is damaging people he pledged to protect and is responsible for. The mistress over time has received less social pressure to not be a mistress, so this is the logical conclusion. The article doesn't say what the pathology indicated was the cause of death. If it was the fall as a result of her punch, in the US that would be at least manslaughter of some degree. If the stress of being punched caused him to have an aneurism burst in his head, then his previous medical condition might make anything other than assault go away depending on DA and jurisdiction. All we get is the pathologist's opinion is she didn't cause it.

This is the great lie. The leaders of feminism have sold this as the definition to get the backing of all women who love the men in their lives, but it has never really been the goal of the leadership. It is a political power movement designed to provide women with significant rights over men, and little accountability for their actions.

Widows totally are different than divorced moms in how they raise their sons. Those sons are raised with the image of a father who loved and cared for them before they died. Divorced moms often actively work to erase or overshadow the positive memories from the kids during the divorce to win. Once that damage is done, it is decades to fix. Women who choose to continue to co-parent with their kids' father fall somewhere in the middle doing minimal damage.

That is rape. I mean there are many other sexual assault charges, and the worst all carry the same penalties as rape in most states in the US. Tying public assistance to child support collections has been a huge evil perpetrated by the state. The stories told are the ones with the most drama. Nearly every female serial killer we know about were things like nurses who used medication to kill patients, or some sort of child worker who took advantage of their position to kill children (who unlike adults don't leave a trail of their story). There are a few reasons. The narrative for political purposes doesn't work if it is a human issue vs. a women's issue Feminism isn't about how women are treated, that is just how they get the masses to join their numbers. Part of the human condition is that someone is going to abuse and take advantage of you in terrible ways. Sometimes we are lucky enough to recognize and escape it early. I have a boy and a girl in scouts. There is very little crossover of activities and meetings. The boy still has a safe place to be a boy with other boys. The girl now has a place to do and learn the same things. She hated girl scouts. They would show up somewhere, watch a presentation, and then be given a badge. Besides the two orgs are very different. Girl scouts was a feminist response to the Boy Scouts. They don't allow boys to tag along, and you are never to speak about the boy scouts. The B…

I'm very convinced that everything on MensRights has its roots in child support. If child support was removed, all the rest of this shit would instantly clean itself up. This is something I have said for a very long time. Getting rid of child support fixes many if not most problems fathers are having in society

And he said still be on the hook for the child. Doesn't change much.

In a free and open government it all should be open to the public. Accused and accuser. There it's no victim in court. Using such language is just a political shell game to hide the fact they are disrupting the legal protections that are guaranteed in an open system

Is it? I know of more than a few rape victims that have gone on to do extraordinary things. I know of no such murder victims.

A child needs a stable relationship with both parents. The rest is just junk the western world wants to believe. There are many examples of healthy but not stable households including military families

He's so rational. Oy, if this it's written by a man, then this is only a short step away from a suicide letter that will blame the patriarchy. I think it's actually done energetic blue haired know nothing feminist child who wrote this. Maybe it's how she saw her farther accepting the accused off the family court.

This should be thrown out. The company was an asset known about during settlement. She had an opportunity to value the company before settling. The fact she walked with a buyout instead of stock is her fault not his. All settlements are final unless their was fraud involved. This is why in the US so many women find excuses to jack up child support or alimony after the fact, because the assets are the only thing that once signed, your are done talking about.

All this wage gap talk is going to end in companies no longer negotiating salaries, but instead using a pay grade system like most governments do. Men will still work more hours and get paid more total dollars because of it. It will end peoples ability to negotiate pay raises, and force you to apply for all promotions.

You caught me typing too fast. Of course that negates my intent. Parents are members of our society, but they are not representative of the whole of our society. The larger society isn't tasked with protecting individual children. Society is tasked protecting children in general. The parents or guardians are tasked with protecting the individual children. Assuming the author has not made up the whole thing, they never learned how to guard against or avoid such situations.

Most women have one or two encounters early in their teens or twenties that teach them all they need to know to avoid the rest of these situations. Any child that has had the issues in this letter has been raised by the most inattentive parents ever, and it is not societies fault they were not protected from predators. Just as most men learn in their teens and twenties how to walk the world on their own and not be beaten and killed by predators. There are those who do not survive these lessons, …

If you are only squatting 315, then you better look good in a tee, because those legs aren't going to grab any attention, squatting what the strong guys are benching. In general, you are right, if a tee doesn't look good on you, you have some work to do. Do it for your self esteem though, not for the carousel riders.

Just some other guy at the bar. It was pretty sad, what's even worse is that I have seen too many dudes step up thinking they are going to get something for their misplaced heroism.

Last time I had a woman go nuts on me, I got lucky and the bartender saw it all. She was mad I didn't buy her a drink, when she asked, and started some shit. Tried to get another dude to fight me. I was 6'1" and about 220# at the time. The guy she grabbed to fight me was probably 5'10" and 250# and muscular. He wasn't hearing it, and the bartender told him she was just being a bitch. Well dude made a huge scene over that, and the bounce came over. By the time it was over the bounce had to escort…
