Abundance of opportunity inflates men's egos, so they're more inclined to overestimate their value compared to traditional means of meeting a girl where opportunities are naturally scarcer. Basic economics of dating.

There's really no way a girl using online dating CAN make the right choice. She simply doesn't have the information needed. People lie on dating sites. So it's just trial and error until she gives up.

Online dating is probably worse for women than for men. Women get a shitload of messages, but they're mostly just pure copy/paste garbage. Even if they manage to filter through the noise, a high percentage of guys are just looking to hit it and quit it. Since guys will say whatever they have to get laid, women don't really have an easy way find a guy who's serious other than trial and error. Men, on the other hand, behave this way because online dating creates abundance. If he gives up on one gi…

No, it was problematic for hundreds of years (allegedly, because the age of the old testament itself is highly suspect and we don't actually have any documents on the matter that fully predate Roman contact), so once a ruling rabbinical council was established (the Sanhedrin) they changed it.

This is inaccurate. Talmudic teaching is more pragmatic; before DNA testing, fatherhood could be ambiguous, but motherhood was always known. It's just a pragmatic decision to avoid ambiguity than because of a need to be inclusive to an explosion of half-Jews.

This is some weird entitlement shit. Bitchmade dudes look at friends as this consolation prize when they strike out, and the friendship itself becomes this painful reminder of what they didn't get, and they just get bitter and resentful. Here's something you seldom ever hear from guys like this: "I put her in the friend zone." Because these are lonely desperate guys and any girl who meets the rock bottom level of attractiveness for him is considered a potential mate. Women and non-pussy guys usu…

So basically your takeaway from this is all women are whores, so... fuck dudes? Is that it? Is this some kind of gay Milo Yainopolous thing and I didn't get that?

It's right there in the article. 10 is higher than 82% of women.

Don't worry, I'm sure no one wants to fuck you a second time. "Some chick I saw on Reddit" is not really a compelling data set. Women with more than 30 sexual partners are less than 2%. More than 50 are less than a half a percent. They happen, but they're generally the result of mental illness or serious distress. Or, like I said, sex workers. These people are extreme outliers. They have something wrong with them. Some might get therapy and work on their shit and come out fine, some probably don…

Any kind of extreme behavior comes from some kind of abnormality, especially if you're talking real outliers, but it's a shit indicator of fidelity in particular.

No one is talking about 250 partners, at which point we're exclusively talking about sex workers and the mentally ill. But I am saying is that number of partners is not a particularly meaningful indicator of the likelyhood of a relationship's success, especially weighed against more common sense ones like "how you met."

But read the whole article and look at the rest of the data. Women with 10+ partners were less likely to divorce in the 70s, 80s, and 90s. What's happened now is just that the 10+ bracket has gotten larger. But it's still not a linear correlation, which means it does't suit the narrative you're trying to push. It's not "the more partners, the more likely she is to divorce." It goes up and down. Why? And what changed in the mid 2000s that caused this seismic shift? Did everyone suddenly relax the…

But that isn't actually true. In fact, traditionally (and until as recently as the 2000s), a woman was actually LEAST likely to get divorced the more partners she had. Now, that's no longer true at the extreme ends, but is still isn't linear, with women who have had 9 partners less likely to divorce than those with 2. In any event the mere ways in which these have changed in recent years shows it's more complicated than this dopey "she's a cock addict" attitude. http://family-studies.org/counter…

If you can't get laid on Tinder you're a bridge troll. I don't understand this sub. It's a bunch of people crying about how they can't get laid or all women cheat on them calling other people beta.

Cheating and sleeping around aren't the same thing. Plenty of sexually repressed princesses cheat when they don't feel loved enough and plenty of party girls are happy to settle down for the right guy. Guys who worry about a woman's body count are mostly insecure babies who can't handle the thought that she's probably seen a bigger dick that yours.

Well let's forget averages then. Accounting for the whole distribution of counts, the median count for a man who is 25 today is 6, and for women it's 4. So your hypothesis is numerically impossible. And some guys attract no girls, but they're a very small percent. But I'd wager they're a very high percent of the people here, because the whole reducing the world to chads and stacys thing is kind of incompatible with being a tolerable human being that people want to be around.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
