LVM hate short hair unless it suits them. My dad always wants my mom (as well as me and my little sister) to have short hair because it makes it so he wouldn't get hair in his face during sex. Just today he suggested I cut it short, because in his eyes it makes me more useful for a man in my life, obviously 🙄

For me and many of the women I know around my age (20) it started with reading fanfiction. All of my friends in middle school would read it, to the point where we were essentially reading explicit pornography without batting an eye, even in public. We were porn-addicted, and it made us think that what we were reading was normal and ok. To someone so young and inexperienced, I think what's attractive about BDSM is, firstly, feeling like you don't have to know what you're doing if someone else is …

Consent isn't hard. I've been seeing a guy recently who I really like so far. We were hanging out, he ended up drinking quite a bit (I was sober) and we had sex. And you know what? He asked for consent every step of the way. Blackout drunk, doesn't remember anything (he didn't mean to get that drunk, but the beer was homebrewed and stronger than what he was used to), and yet he made sure I was comfortable with what was going on at every moment. And yet all the time I hear about men who "couldn't…

Incognito mode makes you invisible to anyone except people you match with. So, men can continue using the app anonymously, and no one they know would ever see them still on the app.

Women are only allowed to behave according to their biology if it means they wanna have kids and be submissive homemakers

Same here, being a doctor sounds amazing but I know it won't be a good thing for me because of my own mental health. Yet somehow the man who unfortunately is my father cannot fathom why I wouldn't want to be a doctor despite being suicidal for like 4 years. I'm going into pharmaceutical research and doing what I love to do. My mental health is important. If the men in my life don't understand that, then I don't need them.

TW: sexual assault, abuse This is something I have definitely struggled with. I used to be, and still am in a way, "in to" a lot of BDSM. It wasn't until I broke up with my ex that I realized how harmful it was to me, both that I thought I liked it, and the fact it was happening. I literally used to believe my only value as a woman lied in sex, so of course I'll let a partner do whatever they want to me! I let myself be degrated, treated like an actual slave or toy, etc. all in the name of pleas…

r/breakingmom I joined cause someone on this sub referenced it around christmas due to the high volume of posts about those poor moms dealing with LVM during the holidays. Apparently this is a "toxic subreddit" so I was auto-banned.

I was surprise that the first time I posted here I was banned from another subreddit automatically. Thankfully my friends are all strong women who know their worth, and they've helped me embrace FDS so much even without being explicitly a part of it

When my grandmother passed, my family didn't pass, but it was because my uncle, in my opinion, is a HVM. He and his wife, but mostly him, it seems, took over responsibility of hosting Christmas and keeping in contact with everyone. Don't get me wrong, my aunt is a big help, but my uncle is the same guy who goes to work, comes home and cooks, always makes time for his kids, apologises to his family when he has done something wrong, like losing his temper for just a moment. He's not perfect by any…

This. I remember my ex kept pointing out how much weight I was gaining so we went on a diet together. I ate 1200 calories a day and worked out 4 days a week and lost maybe 2 pounds. My ex on the other hand ate about 2500 calories a day, no working out, and lost about 15 pounds in that time.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
