2	Stop Calling it a "Lair" Not necessarily. It can be deeply meaningful when someone really makes an effort to impress, even if it doesn't go all that well. Even more so with someone who would not normally make such an effort. Trying to hard is when you're trying to be something you're not. I.e. if someone can speak to you and tell (without directly asking/referencing) that you've read the same "social coaching" book, then that's not your personality someone is getting to know.
