My wife's peak was when she started out earning me this year. That said every year with my wife has been a new peak of one kind or another. And I'm sure there will be another one next year. That's why a fucking married her.

My significant other spent years doing this and it was an absolute fucking drag. Having to listen to them drone on and on about these mind numbing minutia on the human psyche. That said, they were studying for a PhD in psychology. Don't pretend watching YouTube videos from some NEET is the same as developing your sources to max your associated IMPACT factor. Also fun fact she literally wrote a paper on hikikomori.

So if you've ever read the standard relationship subs there are plenty of discussions involving relationships where the woman is the issue. What i suspect the difference you're looking for, and what the problem here is, is that those discussions are about individuals and their experiences, and (please correct me if I am wrong), it sounds like you are looking for discussions more broadly about the gender as a whole? Or at least, if not issues across the entire gender, issues that are common enoug…

One of the challenges is that these communities have a fairly toxic view of masculinity with regards to confrontation and discourse. Coming in with a soft hand to try and help can be perceived as "weak" or "beta" or whatever and gives them an easy route to disengage. Not saying that shitting all over them works better, but they are a tough group to engage.

The very idea you think someone needs to prove feminism wants to reduce violence against women is a bit ridiculous. What does this have to do with your presupposition of causality? Your presume that single motherhood, being raised by a single mother, causes an increase in violence. That is the error of your assumption. What you replied with is not an assumption needed to make the claim either way. It is however clearly a bias that was necessary for you to take a correlation and make a huge leap …

Hey man, report away. If that part of the argument is against the rules then so be it. Are you going to respond to any of the rest of my statements?
/r/PurplePillDebate13/02/17 11:00 PM

Given the data, should women be discouraged from becoming single mothers? This question presupposes causality. Which is what I was criticizing. So you didn't just ask a question, you made a statement. Given that feminism wants to reduce violence against women, does supporting single motherhood make a contradiction? (80% of angry, violent rapists are raised by single mothers) Again, you presuppose causality. Personal attacks are against the rules here. You must be new here. 1) I attacked your arg…

So, you take a really undertermined model that is remarkably confounded, and pull out a conclusion that seems to very nicely fit your worldview. And you blame "political correctness" for the criticism? Bro. Do you even science? I'm guessing you're one of those "STEM MASTER RACE" folks that couldn't even tell me the difference between a type 1 and a type 2 error. Science isn't your fucktoy. There are rules. People can get away with bending them at times to fit an agenda but your argument here is …

From what I've seen online I would argue that a LOT of men like that kind of stuff. Not exactly unpopular material.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/01/17 05:10 PM
2

And that is a fine opinion. Frankly I tend to judge people's morality largely on how they behave sexually, although not necessarily in the "traditional" sense, as well as how they treat others in a more general sense. So what you're saying is that different people have different values when it comes to finding a relationship/partner?
/r/PurplePillDebate10/01/17 07:27 PM
1

How is what I mentioned above an illogical way of thinking? Because you're approaching human interaction as some kind of template filling exercise. People are incredibly complex and subtle, and their relationships are even more so. For one woman/man pair a high n-count may account for massive incompatibilities. For another pair it may have zero effect. And for another pair it may actually be a positive. This is so much at the core of what is wrong with RP thought, the idea that relationships are…

No I know, I get that, it's not just that it's systematic. It's like...I dunno...what someone who played a lot of video games would think actual rigor looks like? I can't put my finger on it. It looks like an overly pedantic forum post on a wow forum where someone breaks down the different phases of a raid boss fight.

This thread highlights the choice most women have to make: Commitment from a low(er) SMV beta; or an alpha who gives you what he wants to, when he feels like it. Most women have to make the choice. That's a false dichotomy that really says a lot about the person making it.

It seems we're in agreement about attractiveness, so I'll drop that. And I'll concede status for the moment. Instead let's look at the statement on divorce. So, first off the 60-80% stat for women filing for divorce has some issues that are outlined in a 538 article, but it's not that far off, so let's go with it. The problem is that the issue isn't divorce itself, or who initiated it, but a specific kind of divorce. In fact it would be ironically absurd to accuse a wife of being hypergamous for…
/r/PurplePillDebate30/09/16 05:23 PM
1

For income sure, I'll agree with that (although it's a fairly complex issue with a lot of differing conclusions). But attractiveness? I'm pretty sure that's similar on both sides.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/09/16 04:47 PM
4

I'm not so sure about the evolutionary side of things, but the practice of men "trading in for a newer model" is fairly well established. The value system that leads to the infidelity/relationship switch may be different between women and men, but I'm pretty sure it's not uncommon for men to leave their partners for a partner with a higher percieved value. Ed: and if your ideas based on evolution lead to a different conclusion, maybe you should reconsider your assumptions?
/r/PurplePillDebate30/09/16 04:15 PM
4

Hypergamy is not a particularly fuzzy concept - the idea of women ditching less attractive, lower-status guys for more attractive, higher-status guys is pretty much vindicated scientifically. I have to ask, what about this is specific to women? Isn't this true for men as well?
/r/PurplePillDebate30/09/16 03:34 PM

And this is exactly why women are almost never interesting and almost never accomplish anything worthwhile. That...seems like a fairly broad statement.

I mean honestly if you've really actually tried all the things you've mentioned, and I mean really honestly tried, then maybe it's time to consider divorce. The issue though is that a lot of people think they're communicating when they're really just talking past each other.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/08/16 03:17 PM

That age range isn't the best example of what real relationships are like though. Most men in that period are either still in school or very early on in their careers so there aren't many expectations of economic stability.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/08/16 03:09 PM

The point is that single mothers actually experience a pretty severe consequence for their actions.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/08/16 05:50 PM

Women are as children in there reduced consequences for their actions when compared to men. That one doesn't really jive with your first one though does it
/r/PurplePillDebate01/08/16 05:03 PM

I see it as both. It starts as a symptom of a larger problem, namely men feeling disenfranchised and disilusioned and left behind etc, but I think it also reinforces negative and dangerous belief systems as well that only make the problem worse.

Can I ask you something? It's just sort of confusing me. As a 19 year old why did you ask this question? Not only are you not an "older guy" (you can fuck/date 18 year olds with impunity, and I hope you're doing it as much as you can), but according to the whole "sexual marketplace" concept you should actually be against older guys hunting girls your age right?
/r/PurplePillDebate12/06/16 01:33 AM
4

No offense bro, but you're 19. How many 35 year old women do you even know? Not that you aren't wrong. Not every 35 year old woman has matured. Similar with men. But more of them have matured by 35 than 18.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/06/16 12:21 AM
4

You mistake quality with quantity. For one you could have only had 5 partners but spent years fucking them regularly and developing your sexual experience. But more than that it takes real emotional maturity to get good at sex. You need to have the empathy to experience it through their skin to make it better for them. And you need to have enough maturity to know how to be honest in bed. I can guarantee you that there are plenty of 18 year olds with 50 partners who think that screaming like a po…

If you think age is a defining factor on how many dicks someone's taken I have some a bridge to sell you. And fwiw, the whole n-count thing is the most transparently insecure nonsense I've seen on TRP. When I'm with a woman I don't spend my time obsessing about her exes. I spend my time making her forget them.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/06/16 11:56 PM
5

I don't hate older men who date younger women. I feel bad for them. Throwing your dick around is one thing, but actually dating an 18 year old when you're 35 or something...that's just kind of sad. For a well adjusted 30 something there is very little attractive, relationship wise, about an 18 year old. They have incredibly limited life experience and will have little in common with you. They have incredibly limited sexual experience and rarely know what to do in bed, or how to do it well, and a…

My point is that even without SS the government will help you in retirement. The government will provide infrastructure that will be incredibly important for when you are no longer working. Even if all your retirement savings are handled privately they won't be worth a damn if the government oversight of the necessary markets collapses.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/06/16 03:01 AM
1

At some point you won't be working. And at that point you will still be receiving benefits from the government. Be it through SS or Medicare or simply in there being repairs done to the highways. Thinking that the world can stop when you do is incredibly shortsighted.

This sounds like a TOTALLY unbiased description of the two groups. Look man. BP is coming from a ton of different angles. Many of us disagree on many different levels about what's right or wrong with TRP. Me personally? I think there are many fundamentally troubling issues that men these days have to deal with, and I don't think they're being properly addressed. Here's the one place that BP does agree. Whether there really are issues or not, BP agrees that TRP is a fucking terrible philosophy fo…

What you're saying is that you know it works because there are willing adherents. That is not the measure of success for something. Many terrible philosophies or schools of thought or whatever had plenty of adherents and many still do. Does that mean they are fundamentally sound at the time they had the adherents? Ok, a few points. First off bragging about anything is a good indication of insecurity and not actually getting/having what you claim to have. Like people who brag about how much money they have usually don't actually have it. To be fair, these "field reports" aren't supposed to be bragging, it's supposed to be anecdotal evidence of different styles of game and how they did/didn't work, but human nature is an everpresent underlying force at play here and it seems far more likely that this is the…

The stuff about the school and whatnot covering it up is really the worst of it. Compare that to child abuse. Even the hint of there having been a cover up (agree or disagree with that assertion) caused a MASSIVE shakeup at Penn State.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/11/15 08:15 PM
3

So like if you beat someone at a game or whatever and you said "I just bad touched you like your uncle did when you were 7", that would be considered kind of fucked up right, because joking about child abuse isn't cool. But with "I totally raped you" it's not as big a deal because rape isn't taken as seriously. That's my take on it at least.

First you need to define "works". Can it get you laid? Sure, I don't think anyone is denying that. Is that the only metric of success? Because if so then you would have better luck just tackling drunk bitches. But that is of course super immoral, so then do we define "works" within some moral framework? Like it can't cross certain ethical lines? Also, how do you define proof? I don't think either side has any real claim to proof one way or another. TRP may feel they are closer to having evidence…

Normalization and generalizations work great when you're talking at the sociological level. Far less well at the individual level, and that's where TRP makes it's mistake.

You do have a point that TBP just laughs a people and that doesn't really help. There are some slightly more constructive posts, like some of the ones in the sidebar. Some of it is just about exposing just how far off the rails some of these guys are, like some of the ones at redpillortaliban (where you try to guess if it was said on the red pill or by the Taliban. They were all said on the red pill.). I really am sorry to hear that you have had such a hard time of it with the ladies, people don…

Well, I guess I have to ask, what would it take to convince you? I know my wife loves me and have many stories to prove that. Many many people would tell you that women are capable of love, would that do it? My guess is that you need more personal experience and exposure to it to really appreciate it's existence. The problem is that you have already sort of decided a viewpoint based on what seems to be a recent and singular negative experience with a woman, and because of that you are now settin…

How many times have you been in love? (Not being sarcastic or trying to be a dick here)

The problem is that you think there's some kind of dichotomous answer. Real successful relationships, there is no single answer to how you create them. They are complex. They require immense amounts of work. There is no single fix. There is no alternative/counterpoint to TRP. People in TBP probably wouldn't agree on how to manage a relationship. The only facet of relationship complexities they can agree on is that TRP is a terrible way to go about it. To put it another way, you're asking us to p…

Because you're complaining about the priveleges experienced by severely impoverished women while you enjoy priveleges that are fed to you on a silver platter. In your mind this is internally consistent because you fight for the impoverished men to get them priveleges they've lost to women, but have you ever considered that the priveleges they've lost to you are far more damaging?

Wait. Aren't you the dude who's rich dad pays for all his shit and gives him money whenever he texts? Like you were born into money and don't support yourself....and you're talking about how poor women are priveleged. Wow dude. You got more issues than a news stand.

Questions like this just kind of baffle me. Why would you think this is true? Of course women can still emotionally develop as they age. Edit: wow. Ok so apparently based on other replies this is a REASONABLE QUESTION to some of the redpills here. Seriously wtf is wrong with you guys.

No. And I have to ask, is your narrative based on any personal experience?

I'm married and have been with my wife for almost a decade. What exactly is your experience?

There was never a patriarchy that would say things like No lay? No pay. No sex? No checks. No fucks? No bucks. Maybe for the ultra-elite, but that kind of logic would only apply to concubines. Not spouses. Patriarchy of the past was remarkably sexually stifling for both parties. Can't believe anyone would want to go back to that. I enjoy keeping my dick wet, I thought that was at least one view I shared with TRP. I really can't figure out what you actually want.

Ok sure. Both partners should have stuff protected in as much as it can be. You'll never get back your time. And there are other more ephemeral things that will be lost, but for the things that can be protected sure, let's see them protected. Thats a far cry from your desire for whore island.

Well yeah: go meet a nice girl who is sexually appealing, have sex with her and spend time with her to see if you really care for her, and if it makes sense get married all while maintaining a good balance of power between partners through consistent communication of each partners wants and needs.

So you want us to go back to the good old days where women were domestic. But you also want them to be as promiscuous as today. Except for money. I think what you need is a one way ticket to whore island. Seriously though. Back in the good old days men would spend a lot of money on courtship, and there was zero sex involved in that.

Men arent ATTRACTED to womens accomplishments...with their boners Speak for yourself there buddy boy. Some of us like a woman that can challenge us. Bedding a woman who can equal you in merit is sexy as fuck.

To be clear I'm not saying it doesn't have some superficial self improvement comments. Work out for instance. Good advice. But lets talk specifics. Why not just sort by top? First up (not counting the top one since its more meta): 1) https://np.reddit.com/r/TheRedPill/comments/20owa2/getting_ready_to_blackknight_a_high_school_girl/ This story is specifically about knocking down a woman. In this case a high school girl. For what? Its not to make her life better. Its not to make his life better. I…

Mich of what I have seen is focused on psychologically manipulating women to increase the relative position of the man in the relationship.

It's hard to know for sure the real long term value of this philosophy right now because it's relatively new. Time will tell. But my belief/observations tell me that TRP encourages weak behavior and I don't see how that will produce happy men. Not in the long run.

Well, it's going to be different for different people right? There's no one size fits all recipe, that's exactly the problem I have with TRP. But ultimately the goal in all of life is to be satisfied and happy though right? Red pill focuses on sexual strategy as being the solution, and theoretically it can superficially address (if you believe the rhetoric) that by dropping dem panties. But it misses a lot of stuff in the process by focusing on a superficial aspect of happiness and self satisfac…

I won't deny it's a tempting sales pitch: "Follow these rules and watch the panties drop!" But in reality it's not unlike some fad diet. It may show some superficial gains but never addresses or appreciates any of the true underlying issues at play and doesn't lead to any meaningful self improvement. Worse still, since it doesn't actually look at the far more complex underlying issues it may put people in positions where they are harming their fundamental self value in the mistaken attempt to im…

I really don't give a fuck about morality. I simply find RP lifestyle to be self-destructive for men. I mean no doubt I feel for the women who have to deal with some of this shit but at the end of the relationship she can more or less go on and live her life. But someone fully subscribed to RP philosophy could be permanently ruined.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/07/15 05:37 PM

I'm here because I find RP to be incredibly self destructive to men and ultimately I want to see men become stronger. TRP has always struck me as a philosophy of weakness.

Ok, how about this. You misused the No True Scotsmen. No true Scotsmen doesn't mean you can't say a group isn't representative. It means you can't make exceptions for the group by removing mbers of the set. Yes, r/feminism represents a portion of feminists. Some feminists are like this. Undoubtably a fact. However, No true Scotsmen is not an excuse to extrapolate that sample to the broader population. That's not even bad philosophy, that's inexcusably bad statistics/science. But it becomes bad p…

If you've never accidentally made a woman cry like an animal then you're either a perfect man or you've never been in a serious relationship.
