| 11 | Play games? Pass denied.The pandemic hasn’t helped. Not to blame everything on the pandemic. But dating and meeting people in general (think Meetup groups) had already largely moved to apps. Then after a year and a half of being unable to socialize in person, these apps are booming with people (and making bank off of it) who wouldn’t ordinarily use them to try and meet people with similar interests. On one hand, she didn’t ghost him which is cruel and increasingly common and seemingly acceptable as more people flock to online, social media or apps to meet people during and post pandemic. They don’t realize you can still get attached to someone just by talking to them regularly. So on the one hand, I’m glad she let him know and didn’t ditch him with no explanation.
