Anyone is welcome here as long as they argue reasonably.

A lot of women are whorish sluts though who wouldn't mind sucking off some random dude at a party This is troll bait. Mods need to get on this.

Lol I am a few minutes into the guys speech and I'm already disappointed. His opening is just terrible. It's all true, but it's not pointed. His choice of words fell short.

Define "rape apologist". It's simply a fact that her behavior (being drink and therefore flaunting her vulnerability) opens her up to rape in the same way that flaunting your wealth in public increases your chance of getting mugged. If someone has a problem with telling people they're putting themselves in danger, that's their intellectual shortcoming.

There is no way to gather statistics on people who suppress those urges, though. It stands to reason that individuals who are pedophiles but that do not act on their urges would not report the information in a survey or even to psychologists due to the social stigmas.

So basically it's only seen as a "sickness" if it interferes with the person's ability to live more-or-less normally in society?

I always thought that was how pedophilia worked. It's a fetish, right? But instead of anal or bondage, it's one that society will never accept since the subjects of the fetish can't consent. If I had that fetish, I would accept it and try to live a normal life without harming anyone. I have normal fetishes, but I don't rape people to act them out.

You should definitely make a complaint to HR. If they don't take you seriously, take it to corporate HR, and so on. It may be fruitless, but if you have the energy to dispel ignorance and tolerance of ignorance then you should do so on principle alone, IMHO.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
