As a feminist, I have to say this isn't true. As I have mentioned before even talking with you, bags on seats etc are an issue. Same with feet on chairs, etc etc. If you see a problem with a woman having a bag on her chair, how can you refuse to see that a man invading a woman's space is also a problem? If you were a trule egalitarian then you would see both sides. Now, the reasons for man spreading are mostly out of comfort. Then there are reasons like you said about infertility, but let's be r…

We aren't talking about a man having his legs "slightly" apart. We are talking about the men who go to the extremes as seen in the photo OP posted, where they encroach on the space of the person sat beside them. Transport isn't comfortable for anyone, but we have to endure. The least we can all do is keep to pit own spaces. You keep to your seat, and they keep to theirs. Bag on chair? Move it. Someone is sat beside you? Keep your legs to your side of the seat. It is very simple.

Then STAND. No one is forcing you to sit. If you can not keep to your self for ten minutes then you shouldn't be on public transport. Also, the risk of infertility is caused by sitting for HOURS. Even manspreading isn't going to help in this instance because sitting for long periods isn't good for anyone.

Doesn't matter. We all have to be uncomfortable sometimes, doesn't mean you have ANY right to make someone else uncomfortable.

It's a real issue. Sure it's not as serious as murder or whatever, but it's still a problem of encroaching on someone's personal space. You can't look at that picture at any that those two men are in the right, when you can clearly see the women squished together. You have a seat. Stay in it. Don't push into someone else's space. Its not that difficult. Same applies for putting suitcases, bags, shopping, and feet on or in front of other seats preventing others from sitting. Keep yourself and you…

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
