10	The "But men do it too" argument, and why it bothers me. The weird thing is this 'now it is payback' attitude. Getting revenge for things that (they think) was done by other people to people other than themselves on people who have done nothing, their only sin is sharing a certain characteristics (genitals or skin color) of the (alleged) offender. Look at facebook posts joking on the expense of men (last example: men are like whiskey -best kept in a barrel for three years with very little oxygen). Glee and general laughter. Someone cracks a similar joke on women - I like my women like my whiskey: aged 18 and full of coke- and suddenly the ad hominems arrive (I am sure this is you, and the rest). 4	"It's worse for women" It is not worse for women. In fact, in many areas, they have it easier. A friend of mine with three sons is pretty aghast about how schools are not very friendly for boys, for example. But I also think that my daughter will have easier time in life than my son (both are very small). Schools, scholarships, career support, etc etc are all there to help women and they do not very much help men (based on their sex). If a woman cheats - what forced her to look for something outside the marriage? Oh, that woman abused her husband? I am sure she was fighting back. The poor soul. There was this video posted here a couple of days ago from the BBC with a chap trying to talk about men's issues while two feminists did the whole whataboutisms -it also was uttered there. 1	I Hate This Argument On FOM Violence and how the former doesn't have the same impact, severity, scale, etc. What they forget is that it is normally is circle of violence. FOM-MOF-and back again, until something really breaks. Usually the woman.
