Sure if you wanna die alone. Or, be open with everyone, accept open people in your life, don't deal with peoples bullshit, and live happily ever after. People who say don't be open or don't talk to girls or don't confide too much in them, have been hurt by girls before and like to generalize all girls into this sort of malicious, untrustworthy being. They're just people. You can talk to them and tell them stuff, and if they are interested in you, you will know. You don't need to lie or game or a…

even so, the notion that because there are so many girls, each one lessens in value, is silly. i'm not saying op should vigorously pursue this woman, i just have some beef with the phrasing of the original comment here.

but it's not naive to think "One women can't be important enough to give serious thought and concern over"

too many rules. Be yourself, there's someone out there who likes who yourself is. Don't overthink things, don't change who you are for girls. Let girls change for you.

alot of this is true, but 1.7... I'm a nice guy (trying to stop being a nice guy because apparantly girls don't like when you're nice to them (a concept i don't fully understand but i've accepted as the way of the world) but i am really a nice guy. It's not odd that people think i'm nice, it's because i'm always willing to help them out if i can. If i've got an essay due tomorrow and i'm up at midnight working on it, and a friend asks me for help or advice, or anything, i'm fine with losing an h…

say she has a boyfriend, like in your example. How do you react to her telling you that? i figure you shouldn't just say "oh well that's okay, i'm only really here to meet people anyways", could you? and if not, how would you guys approach it?

"Did you know that the original name for Pac-Man was Puck-Man? You'd think it was because he looks like a hockey puck but it actually comes from the Japanese phrase 'Paku-Paku,' which means to flap one's mouth open and closed. They changed it because they thought Puck-Man would be too easy to vandalize, you know, like people could just scratch off the P and turn it into an F or whatever." I learnt from the best ^
