However you can easily undo everything the person before you accomplished by moving really slowly, not moving at all, or even turning around and running backwards around the track. You can be given a bad start and improve, or a good start and still fall behind. Rich kids sometimes become homeless drug addicts , and occasionally poor kids become rich and successful. Therefore you do in fact start where your parents left off, however this does not guarantee success or failure.
