That's the difference between guys and girls. Guys would bang an average chick. Guys would bang an average chick with a weird personality. Guys would bang an average chick that's creepy. That same girl is looking for a non creepy attractive guy when she's not all that.

The hot takes on this sub jesus Girls can find at the minimum an average guy to have sex with practically whenever they want unless they look like femcels. How are you going to compare that to crack whores and obese lonely women lol?

I honestly think this is an awful take. you are not entitled to get anybody. Prematurely restricting them You know your talents & can offer them to better somebody else's life You're already teaching them to live for someone else That should lead you to prepare for relationships. Basics like: know how to listen, how/when to talk, how to get to know someone else, how to express emotions. Misses most of the important aspects. Just utterly dull

Trad relationship. I make money, she homemakes, I'll do the lawn stuff or whatever. She can work part time or something once the kids are in school if she wants. see 1. I only date submissive girls for the most part, so that dynamic will likely be the same in marriage. She should be able to put her foot down if necessary. Everyone has to have boundaries. My father grew up in a super, I guess you can call it red pilled country. Obviously there are differences, but they didn't raise soft men over there. I'm glad I had him as an example, I don't know how I would've turned out if he was a soy boy instead. When I first found the Red Pill, I thought most of it was common sense already. I did see a few things that I missed in my upbringing and through trial and error. I think the practical side can help a lot of people who didn't have a decent father f…

That's ancient /s I deadass though you were like a 40year old redneck. I think it's the name Jim with random boomer numbers. Personally, I really haven't seen cute used in a negative way. When girls start gossiping cute is usually the adjective they use to describe who they're talking with. Even when flirting it seems like their favorite one. I'm remembering hard here, but I don't think I've ever seen it used the way nice is used.

I think a lot of shorter guys are living a self fluffing prophecy. They think since they're short, no one would want to go out with them, and so they don't try. Obviously if they don't try, no one goes out with them and confirms their belief that they are undesirable. A vicious cycle. I'm not short, but I do have some short friends. They're shorter than you too, something in the 5'4, 5'5 range maybe smaller. One of them has had a steady string of girlfriends and some were really good looking. I …

I think it's diminishing returns at that point. There shouldn't be much of a difference. 31 year olds aren't ancient. They just have some signs of aging. The aging has already been eliminated so they should in theory look very close to the same as a 21 year old under the same conditions. From there they just pick the best/most marketable actresses and those are usually the people who have been in Hollywood for awhile
/r/PurplePillDebate07/04/20 01:24 AM

Movies aren't the best example to support your point. You're already selecting out of one of the most attractive populations. Plus make up and most importantly lighting. Lighting + makeup can remove any blemish or wrinkle you want.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/04/20 01:16 AM

I didn't think attractiveness didn't matter, but I thought personality factored into the equation a lot more, like way more. I still think personality does, but it's less so kindness and more so confidence and charisma.

Like why did I invest my life into being a better person and something valuable in the world I understand the anger they feel, but you should do this for yourself, not for anyone else. If you'd rather go a different route, that should still be for you. Do what you want to do. I think the biggest reason is that no one likes being duped and if you find out later, you feel regret and anger over the lost time.

I think it's great that so many people are improving themselves. Growing as a person is a rewarding part of life. I'm sure any people in TRP who actually follow the self improvement things are happier as a result. I think the biggest factor for a lot of their anger and resentment is because they feel lied to. They've been duped in a way. If they knew since a young age a lot of the truths that get ignored or downplayed in the world, they wouldn't be so angry now. Part of it is the sense of betray…

A lot of the practical is helpful for people. When I take a peak, I usually ignore most of the theory side. Get fit/lift, don't be a bitch/doormat, know how to escalate, abundance, banter, DNGAF, be the prize, focus on your mission etc. should be helpful for people who never got the chance to learn this stuff through trial and error. I just checked TRP for the first time in a long time and they've grown another 200k (1.7 mil total) since about 2.5 months ago. You can say a lot about TRP but exaggerating doesn't really help your case TRP is designed to preach HATE of women, not learn how to date them For them it's a bit of both

I just think that everyone has hard times one way or another, especially when young. Could be because of a whole host of factors. Once they have given up they don't want to be built up. They want to find more and more reasons to justify them giving up. That allows them to feel like they have made the right decision. And depressed people think the world is bleak no matter happens. Anxious people think something is always gonna go wrong. I know I'm equating incels to people with mental illnesses h…

Ofcourse. I'm sure I could list a page of cons, but I think most of them are already pretty known. I didn't think I had to state that you're pregnant for 9 months and then you have to push a baby out of you or get cut open. Or having to change diapers, clean up after the kids, body changes, taking time of work etc. I just wanted to know whether the pros outweigh the cons or vice versa and whether demographics affect that. I just saw the data on happiness after having a kid. I know you have less freedom, but is it really that bad? Is this a newer trend due to economic concerns or is was this typical even when people could buy houses as part time milkmen? Do the rich have the same drop? The difference is stark. It's a fairly rare dynamic. I think it helped broaden the kids raised in more uptight settings. School would've been a lot more boring without the other side. There was actually 2 separate buildings for the two schools but the entrances were like 50 feet apart. We had gym and shared sports teams with the other school. We could use each other's lunchrooms and you're allowed outside since people would have to go back and forth, so there were benches outside you could hango…

We're talking about the Ivy guys that are hot too. Sure the typical average Ivy dude will marry one of them, but the guy who's the whole package won't pick someone a few degrees below their looks. Why would they lol? Wharton finance bro does not want a Penn State communications major for any longer than one night You're acting like people from high status families only go to the Ivy League. nope Regardless pretty high achieving women exist and Chad snags them Hot high achieving women are a rarity and most smart/successful Ivy Chads don't end up with people with the same level of success as them. There's just not enough of them to go around. The girl's father/family on the other hand are usually powerhouses so they still marry someone of the same class.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/01/20 07:15 AM
1

Nah. Never been to Stanford but I go to an Ivy and visited a few others. If you saw the selection from the 'hot' sorority, you'll wonder what god you pissed off in your past life. Girls from rich families have more money to spend on cosmetics and maintenance. I don't disagree, but there will be plenty of ugly/average girls too. Those will fill up the top academic places way more often. High achieving women and looks is inversely proportional for the most part.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/01/20 07:05 AM
1

You can be rich/high status and not go to an Ivy or be very smart. Plus there's not that many hot girls that go to Ivies. The total package guys don't have a huge pool to pick from in that case. They're not gonna settle with an average looking chick

Like I said earlier, super intellectual women or those who are career oriented (but not actually ambitious apparently, or maybe they are idk you can make up your mind), aren't that sought after by top tier men. Other people may say perhaps they are focusing on their career. But personally, I never understood this one. Even if you work 80 hours a week, if you find someone you like you make time for them. Who would want to date someone who works 80 hours a week? That's 16 hours a day over 5 days, you'll never get to do anything fun. Most people don't have that level of introspection. As it is already, most people overestimate their looks. A 3 thinks they're a 5, a 5 thinks they're a 7, and a 7 thinks they're a 9. Add that they think their sparkling personality makes them that much more desirable and you have people shooting their shot upwards. And you know what, they should shoot their shot. I'm just basing it off my experiences with 18 year old girls. There is a lot of naivety with freshman girls (guys moreso but this isn't about them). During freshman orientation week, a few girls I knew ended up in the hospital from drinking too much. Even 19 is much more acceptable in my mind, because the first year out of high school is a whole different animal. With a year under their belts, they should know enough that it's not a weird dynamic. If other people want to go after them, you do yo…

I think 18 is iffy because the transition from high school and college is pretty stark. I think it evens out pretty soon tho, around 20ish. A junior in college has enough maturity that it's fair game.

The median intelligence of men and women is the same according to studies, but the variability is much different. At the highest ends, it's dominated by men. Same thing at the lowest ends. That would explain why men dominate the top jobs (CEOs, partners/MDs at banks, lawfirms etc). It also helps explain why men commit more crimes, end up in jail, are on the street homeless. Still that's only one factor, there's a whole bunch of other things that factor in. I'm not sure what explains the differen…

I haven't looked at them much but how much of an equivalence do they have to TRP.. You can split TRP into two groups: theory (AWALT, Hypergamy, AF/BB) and practice (frame, game, lifting) etc. I know FDS has their own practice (whatever their girl game is, not paying for dates, not having sex early etc) but do they have an equivalent for TRP theory. And are the women over there just like that or are they having their own anger phase so to speak?

If 100% men were somewhat attractive compared to 30-40% of women, more men would be pissed than now lol. Contrary to some people's beliefs here, a lot of dudes do want to settle down, marry and have kids. The numbers don't line up at all. A bunch of guys would end up with girls way under their league. Say what you want about the current dating market, but the attractiveness distribution is relatively even right now. I'm assuming the change happened quickly in the current day. If it was like this…

All good marriages have a barter system. Folding 250 articles of clothing equals one handjob. 20 nights of watching the kids while she goes clubbing and spending the night at a friends house allows me to use a vibe on her. And I don't mean to brag, but cooking every meal for the whole year gets me 45 minutes of penetration that I can use whenever I want (although I wouldn't want to make her uncomfortable so I just let those minutes roll over). The goal is to improve yourself the most, there will always be people more attractive than you. Your line of thinking is a bit flawed. Will a majority of women prefer a tall/beautiful/funny man over a man with a 6 pack who doesn't have those other characteristics, sure. But this isn't supposed to compare two men, this is supposed to see if making improvements will make you more attractive. This hypothetical tall/beautiful/funny man probably does fine with women, but he would likely do even better if he was ripped. For the other guy, you have to consider if he would be more attractive as is…

I think anyone who gets cheated on should be filing the next day. That said I understand those with young kids who try to make it work. Kids do typically turn out better in a happy 2 parent household. If you can work through the infidelity, that would be the best for the kids. I just think that the success rate of doing that is so low, it's not even worth it to attempt. Better one or two happy separate households than one dysfunctional one.

And you're assuming that the majority of men are nerdy betas. Betas are just typically normal dudes. In ancient times, they would be exercising constantly and would…

I feel like it's a sliding scale. 90% Alpha 10% Beta, 70% Alpha 30% Beta, 20% Alpha 80% Beta. Things like that. Obviously women aren't thinking those numbers consciously, but the goal is to stay away from the extremes. 100% Alpha I'm thinking dude's probably a sociopath. I don't even want to picture what 100% Beta looks like. Probably a cuck. The types of man is too rigid. I'm sure there are more than 1% Alphabucks, just due to the fact that different amounts of alpha is enough for different wom…

How exactly were women and her brood supposed to support themselves back then? I read a theory somewhere that monogamy at the very beginning wasn't for the genetically disadvantaged to have a stake in society, but for the overall protection of the mother and child. It's just a theory but it does make sense. If monogamy wasn't a construct, the people in early history who would have harems of women wouldn't be attractive people, but the rich. You can't fast forward to modern times when a woman can…

Think about how bad/mediocre the average person is at their job. This applies to marriage therapists too. I imagine there are some who are genuinely helpful, who really make you think about the problems in your marriage and help you solve them. I just think they would be few and far between. I think there are a lot more who will at best do nothing for your marriage and at worse, make it much worse. Just playing the odds, I wouldn't ever go to marriage counseling.

It's the mindset I think. Lower inhibition, less to lose, rougher conditions growing up, IDGAF attitude. Girls for the most part are attracted to masculinity, and not giving a shit and going for what you want is pretty masculine. So you agree that if a median male matches with a median female, even if you or data thinks she is hotter, it is a symmetrical relationship.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/12/19 05:38 AM

How does "basic math" show this, specifically? Don't you understand how if you think the top 50% of women are equal to the top 20% of guys, that 30% of women will be left over? From there 30% will be in asymmetrical relationships as you put it. I'm just making up numbers but your premise will have something along these lines. So care to explain how this isn't basic math. The numbers only work if there is a much larger population of guys which there isn't, it's 50/50. That I said I don't agree wi…

There is a plethora of research on assortative mating. This was just a small selection. And most of it was useless What research indicates that people pair off consistently in asymmetrical attraction arrangements? If you assume that women are the hotter gender (which you said like 5 different times), the research is basic math lol. That said I think your underlying presumption is wrong, so I do think people more or less pair off with people equal to them.

I'm glad you were so enlightened. Kids are pretty stupid lol. If you're told one thing and see another at a younger age it's harder to put two and two together. I'm 22 and there seemed to be a lot of 2 harmful types of parents growing up. Those who smothered their kids and those who liked the idea of having kids more than actually raising them. The first group would give bad advice. It's tough for the second group because they were thrown to the wolves so to speak. They had to be independent early and learn everything themselves. However a lot of kids get lost with no guidance, just small things early on to set them straight can help them significantly.

You raise your son to be a man. That doesn't have to fall entirely on the father. Raise him not to be a doormat, or a bitch. Tell him to go after what he wants. They don't even have to mention girls or anything relationship wise. It's universal things that make you appealing. Get them into sports etc. You don't have to teach them to flirt or anything like that. If when they're young and they say they like someone (cause I know my mom always asked me if I had crushes when I was like young), just …

The compromise is be physically fit, don't be a doormat, have boundaries, and don't rely on others to be happy. It's that simple. You don't have to spin plates or any mind games. On the other end, you don't have to follow the happy wife, happy life ideal. You do what you want to do. If you do that a man, it's likely you'll find a woman who fits into your life well, which sort of balances both sides of the genders.

Fuck it I'll add 1 more post. I do agree with TRP quite a bit. However, some of them are so fucking bad at math. Some of them really think that most girls have 30-50 notches on them, and most of the are with the top 20% of men. Say it is 80% of women with 20% of men. That's 120-200 ncount on average for the top 20% which is just completely unrealistic. I'm also still tweaking so disregard anything erratic.

This is what I think TRP gets wrong. I don't think women inherently like assholes more than nice people. I think assholes are more likely to have certain traits that are attractive than nice people. I do think men who take care of their bodies age better than women who take care of their bodies. Guys don't have to worry about the effect of gravity on their tits and ass. why do you care if some chick you are dating goes to a club though Like a plate or a LTR? A plate you wouldn't care. A LTR you would next since that's not how you act. they can be replaced right Those behaviors would show that it's time for replacing. On to the next one

I agree you shouldn't control behavior. If someone crosses the line just let them go. I don't think what I wrote necessarily goes against what you wrote. I think RP conflates a lot of supposedly reasonable boundaries in a relationship with mateguarding and recommend simply nexting her if she comes across as disloyal I think they're against verbalizing it. If the girl doesn't innately act right, you drop her. So you wouldn't tell her to stop clubbing every weekend, you would just dump her. Still …

I can agree with this Then there is controlling and jealous behavior - expecting your partner to never speak to a member of the opposite sex and getting angry with them for leaving the house without you. /r/PurplePillDebate11/11/19 06:23 PM

Well ideally you vet a bit before you start dating someone exclusively. I agree that you shouldn't try to change people. But if major red flags start popping up later on, you're entirely in your right to not be ok with it.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/11/19 05:54 PM
3

When someone says, I don't want my GF to go to a club, I'd be like that's controlling I still think that can be a boundary. If someone's not ok with it, they're not ok with it. If someone crosses it, they can break up. No one forces you to stick around. To add to that, you can call literally any request controlling.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/11/19 05:43 PM
3

For most people who end up on reddit however, this is never clearly respected: a HardTRP will try to impose boundaries because he is insecure See this where you lost me. I don't think boundaries are necessarily because you're insecure. Say you have an SO who flirts with anyone they meet. Setting that boundary isn't because of insecurity, but because that's just not how you act. If they break the boundary, you dip

2 times in 7 years is pretty negligible. If you're going clubbing regularly, you are not relationship material. If a girl doesn't want her SO going to strip clubs, I wouldn't call it controlling or jealous, I think it's more than reasonable. I think it's controlling and jealous for men to prevent women from going to a club This is what I'm talking about. First, you can't really stop anyone from doing anything. However, what you call controlling and jealous, I call a reasonable boundary. You won'…

I have a big family with mostly traditional relationships. Out of the about a dozen or so relationships, only one has had a divorce, and that was my crazy aunt initiating. The majority of them seem happy too. When I first saw the divorce rate way back when, I honestly couldn't believe it. Say what you want about the traditional structure, but it seems to work better than where we're at now with nuclear families being broken left and right.

I don’t disagree with this. This can also address the declining birth rates. People put off having kids until they can better afford it. It’s also not as feasible to have 1 working parent and 1 stay at home with how finances are nowadays. I just didn’t want my post to get any longer. There’s just a ton of problems coming in at different directions. Even if we wanted to put the genie back in the bottle, I’m not sure we could.

Is hiprocrisy really relevant here. It would already be unethical to forcefully move society back towards more of a traditional model. If you’re already good with the idea, does it have to be 100% for you to support it. Is 50% not better than 0%. If you want 100% world peace, you’d still take 50% over 0. Also if you got rid of female sluts, wouldn’t that by default dramatically reduce the amount of male sluts. Same with the inverse.

Both guys and girls can have fragile egos, but I do agree it's a higher percentage of women. A lot of guys are pretty laid back and aren't too serious. They can take responsibility for their lives. To add to that, I suppose it's more pathetic for a man to have a fragile ego than a woman. If a woman acts like that, you think it's silly but not so out of the norm. A guy acts likes that and you think wtf is wrong with that dude.

There is a reason that most wealthy and powerful men do not seek bimbos for wives Well you have to consider that maybe they weren't wealthy and powerful before they got married. That's actually pretty shocking to me. My mom's not really that high in the intelligence department although she never really pursued advancing it. Ideal is very specific. There aren't tons of cute blue eyed brunettes that are slightly on the thicker side (not what fat people think is thick). Maybe curvy is a better word. Don't have too many of these. Hopefully I find someone that is marriage material with these looks. Won't be the end of the world if I don't, I'll just have to get rid of the blue eyes checkbox to increase the prospects. Additionally, are you the type of your ideal type? I misread this initially. I thought you were asking f…

I think genuinely nice people can do fine, but they can't have a shy personality too. Some of the nicest people I know have close to 0 success. They don't do covert contracts or any of that shit. They do however have trouble putting themselves out there even if they aren't ugly. I think that has more to do with having a meek personality than anything. If you're nice and fun (and at least somewhat attractive) you should be able to do fine. That said this whole conversation is dumb because if you …

How do you even know he tried to make them pick a side. The kids probably wanted to know what was happening and he told them. If your parents are divorcing you're gonna want to know why. They're in high school not grade school. It's not uncommon at all to tell them. At that age I'd want to know, it's wrong to keep them in the dark why a marriage just suddenly dissipated. You can sorta translate it to this. TRP helped you? Yes You would be farther back in life if you didn't find it? Yes You are glad you found it? Yes The TRP method is effective? Nope lol it's not effective or healthy.

It's honestly freaky how you might not see them for months and you just pick up how you left off. The atmosphere is the same as when you last saw them. You have the same forwardness to them too. Like you can saw the same terrible jokes and you don't have to worry about them being too much. I can't imagine having to keep up once a week to maintain a long distance friendship other than the occasional group chat message. Seems like an unnecessary amount of work. Come on this is disingenuous. Two tall people can have a short child but they're much more likely to have a tall child like them. The same works for short people but the inverse. If you married a 5' vs a 6' women, you're much more likely to have taller kids with the second one.

It's like clockwork. By junior year you could start telling when they'd rotate out a new girl. The thing I didn't even mention in the post was how awful they would talk about their friends behind their back. There was a rumor that one of them was just in general dirty. What if you used two mirrors. Like the first one gives you the reflected image and the second one reflects it again. The second should be how other people view you. That would probably be the most accurate depiction of what you look like.

Men do this too. Gay men have constantly talked about how their male peers bullied them for being F**s and girly I went to pretty progressive schools. Those problems weren't issues in our groups. In high school we had 1 or 2 friends who were gay. We were accepting when they came out. Went to Columbia for college, if you were gay you were probably already out by then. No one cared, you were treated the same. If you're a guy, of course you think so. That's called in-group preference. Everyone has …

How do you know it's less likely? Life experience. Girls drop friends over the stupidest shit. I haven't seen any largeish groups of female friends that have lasted decades. You have 2 or 3 friends who you've known for awhile, good for you, but that isn't the majority of experiences.

Men are less likely to rotate best friends every couple of years. How can you say women have deeper friendships when it's pretty common they isolate members of their group. A good male friend group is worth so much more than the female equivalent. I've seen groups of over 10 men stay friends for over 20 years. I haven't seen the same with women. I didn't say they were assholes, I'm saying they're blander people. I think having fewer hardships in life gives you less to build yourself up with. Idk how to explain it except there's more fire in them. I went from a poorer high school to a very rich college and the difference was something else.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/09/19 10:53 PM

That's just so foreign to me. I think a reason that I miss seeing any of this is in part because I haven't run in exclusively middle class circles since middle school. My highschool was on the poorer side and that behavior just wasn't common. My college is a bunch of rich kids and they don't act like that either. Maybe I'll see more of it after I graduate this year.

As a guy, that's sort of my experience except it's more about upbringing. Poor/Middle Class people have personalities that are more interesting than rich. I haven't noticed much of a difference between ugly/average girls and 'hot ones' in terms of personality assuming they were from the same class.

Of course it’s a paradigm shift. Say some Red Pill ideas like hypergamy and AWALT are true. They would have always been true, but men from the past would not have to be concerned about that. Society would not let women express a lot of those behaviors. With women’s liberation, their shackles are off but in return it left a lot of men with their dicks in their hands. Men don’t have a lot of places to voice their concerns, so the Manosphere was born out of necessity.

Ooh that's a good one too. I'll get a decent replica of Goya's work when I find a more permanent place to live. The only other painting that ever really hit me hard was A Sunday Afternoon on the Island of La Grande Jatte. So I'll try to get one of those too.

Well obviously those aren't the only two. If she's a serial cheater, it doesn't matter how bubbly she is. I think it's more like a wishlist. I didn't want to list 30 traits that are ideal and say I'd be happy with 10 of them because it doesn't really work like that. It's too hard to narrow people down for a checklist. I prefer blue eyed brunettes, but I won't axe someone if they have brown eyes. I think the hardest part is running into people that meet your ideal, rather than seducing them. I do…

You can find someone attractive and not want to bang them.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/09/19 11:50 PM

Well if they say a great personality can make you attractive when you otherwise wouldn't be because of how you look, isn't that negotiating.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/09/19 11:49 PM

I don't think I'm we're on the same page here. Feminists or really blue pill people will tell you looks aren't everything and that a great personality can make up for it. I disagree with that for the most part. I think women are as shallow as men. If you see someone and you're not attracted to them, nothing they say will make them attractive. Attraction cannot be negotiated.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/09/19 11:46 PM
3

Idk I thought the idea that women aren't as shallow as men and they care a lot more about great personality was pretty wide spread. I heard it a lot more in my teens though. Also there are a lot of articles about the dad bod nowadays. They don't say they prefer lean and jacked people which ties into attraction cannot be negotiated, because they'll be more attracted to those bodies.

It's clearly superior to abs I don't get why girls aren't programmed to like it. -Women are happier in male led relationships. /r/PurplePillDebate01/09/19 07:57 PM

Women have more prep time before going out but men have to put in more time at the gym to get the desired body type. Women don't have to exercise, they just need to be not fat.

Their biological objective is to sleep with people . It's literally what they're built to do. To dilute it by saying don't wrap up your self worth in never getting laid is silly.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/08/19 02:53 AM
1

But that's the thing, if you're more confident and the rest of your circle likes to sleep with a bunch of different people, you wouldn't by default be the same. They probably are the same, but in decent amount of cases they'll be able to say I don't do that. If you're low confidence I can almost guarantee you do the same as the rest of the group.

I don't know, the more comfortable you are with a situation the less intense. The first time you kiss a girl is a lot more intense than the 100th time. The first time getting touched naked etc.. Probably not for the Dutch, but 6 feet translates to 182.66cm. When people are using tinder the arbitrary height cutoff they use is 180cm+. I'm not saying that's tall, I'm saying that is the equivalent of girls in the US saying they want someone 6 feet tall.

My family is pretty Red Pill leaning so I didn't have to worry about Feminism. They want me to marry a women from the old country bc they think an American girl is just going to divorce me and take half my shit lol. My focus was on school so I was fine with them coming to me. Coasting on looks makes it hard to attract the top tier women, because they're less likely to just come to you. I definitely realized I had work to do if I wanted a hot wife.

Close to 100% Alpha is good for STR but not LTR. It's hard to find a man to get a good mix of both alpha and beta. Also a bunch of men start alpha enough but become complacent in marriage. Betas are also the safer choice if you can't find a decent mix of alpha/beta. There's also the fact that you don't want to tell someone to get more alpha. They just want you to be it or become it on your own. You want it to be authentic, not out of need but your own volition. Some good links: https://www.reddi…

Remember that attractiveness is a bell curve. There aren't an equal amount of 5s and 9s. Most women and men fall within 4, 5 , 6.

You would think right. It's obvious. But to those who are, especially younger men they don't always know that. Be someone attractive and confident they mean When they finally figure out that's what they need to do, they have no idea where to get started. Common sense has run the course for these clueless men. They need direction and the red pill gives it to them (whether it's right or wrong). Where else are they supposed to look other than RP and that brings me back to your original answer: A lo…

I'm sure many of them want foolproof strategies (and I agree they don't exist) but a lot need atleast a little bit of guidance. Most teenagers are pretty dumb. Learning about the world and it's dynamics by living through it is exciting for many people, but a lot are terrified of them. I think a lot of the red pill is over exagerated, but I can at least appreciate that it gives a push to people lost in that sort of world. It might not be the right way, but these kids are wading in a pool with no …

My favorite red piller is Jacktenofhearts. I found out about his stuff way after he quit. He's one of those people you find if you dig through the bad stuff at RP and MRP. As for Real Social Dynamics, I've never heard of them before. If they're actually good, how are most people supposed to find them. I probably use reddit a bit too much and this is the first I'm hearing of them. How is the average person struggling with problems supposed to find these resources?

You just illustrated my point. Nobody said be yourself if yourself os lame. Nobody ever adds that caveat. They always just say be yourself. If youre fat and love anime and someone says be yourself theyre lying to you. I agree but those kids don't know that. They hear be yourself and they do just that, be themselves. And when that's repeated in movie, tv shows, the news it just reinforces that. People skirt around the issues and almost never give direct advice like be attractive and confident. So…

Most self help books are awful. AND THERE ARE SO MANY OF THOSE. I say there's more bad info in a self help section than there is at the red pill. They both have the same good info. At least at the Red Pill you can see the cringy stuff and say I'm not gonna do that. Less shit to wade through.

See but that's where you run into problems with common sense. Be nice to girls (people take that too far), be yourself (awkward kid talks way too much about anime), fake it til you make it (too much arrogance/annoying). You miss all the nuance if you hear these platitudes at a young age. Ideally you experiment it when you're young and refine it as you get older but a lot of people don't do that. And they have no other outlets to bounce this off others and see if they're doing something completel…

Born and raised in Northeast America. Parents born in Algeria. Algerians are a lot less common than Moroccans and Egyptians from what I've seen. I visited Algeria every summer most summers and have been to Spain every summer. I'm not religious and have never lived in an area with other middle easteners/north africans. What about you?

Parents from North African but I have a light complexion, Hazel eyes, look European, pretty good looking but just started lifting. When I was born in America my family was lower middle class and transitioned to Upper middle by the time I reached high school. I'm pretty new to all this so I'll chime in. In high school, the Red Pill in retrospect was right for the most part. Had oneitis early on and thought being nice was the way to get a girl. That was freshman year of high school/middle school. …

I can definitely relate to the dopamine hits from a fantasy or day dream. I do that with woman and jobs and fun situations especially if I'm going through a rough period, but they usually die down the same day (and a new situation the next) so it's not on your sub's level. I try not to because it gives me less incentive to fix my own life if I have a perfect one inside my head, but if it's hard if you have a lot of stressors going on. Actually wrote my college entrance essay on living inside my …

That's fair. To tell you the truth I didn't know much about Limerence. Just seemed like an intense crush to me. Doing some research it seems compulsive and ties to OCD. Must be hard to deal with. I typed up a few questions I had about limerence but they seemed too intrusive when spelled out.

I agree, I was a too harsh. What your post here said and your post history said were just too conflicting to me. Like you said you could be just fun with your husband but you also flirt and get closer to those you have crushes/limerence on. But it's true I don't know you or your situation. For all I know you and hubby are in an open relationship or some other arrangement.

The wholesome girl who wants to be a sex kitten for the right man You're acting like you're someone who waited for the right man to let loose. Sure you haven't slept around a bunch, but you're emotionally messing around with other people. Sort of pokes holes in your argument and brings the question on whether you actually are happy with your low n count. I'm not too familiar with limerence. Is it just intense crushes. Do you ever physically act on them? emotionally? You said your husband needs n…
