Before my session, there was always an over 40 woman leaving the room. She was still fucking leaving the same room even after I was gone for 2 years. I bet she is still going there 3 years later more. At that point, going to the sessions is just self-torture as you can CBT the shit out of yourself but nobody will love you anyways. You cannot CBT someone's biological needs away as well - when someone is starving the solution is giving them food. Living alone is expensive compared to partnered people. No tax benefits. No backup income meaning you need to save more, have higher buffer in case of unemployment. If you have the brains, skills and ability to make bank, I fail to see why checking out and working easy job way beyond your abilities is going to appeal at all.
