Regardless of what you personally do, in 2010 only 89-91% of residential populations were included. Meaning 27 million people couldn't be accounted for. Out of the 243 countries in the world, only 45 have a population greater than 27 million. Thats a huge number of missed people that can have a major effect on how demographics are represented. Because providing someone 20$ a month worth of contraception doesn't guarantee she won't end up in the ER anyway. It takes responsibility and care to use birth control in a productive way. Something you might lack if you are so poor you can't provide 20$ worth of contraceptives for yourself in the first place.
