If you read the article it was a stillborn that she had birthed in her own home by herself as family says she hid the pregnancy. The "killed newborn daughter" is an allegation by prosecuters that she purposefully killed the baby before it was born. It was definitely dead on arrival. Also, she was only 25 herself, I've honestly seen way worse age gaps than that between 16 year olds and their lovers. The only real problem I can see is that it is undoubtedly an inappropriate relationship between a person of authority and their student.
