For the record I'm not trying to discredit TRP - that's for its detractors to do. I have no dog in this fight whatsoever. I will say TRP does have a marketing problem, though! If there were more active people like you willing to calmly explain the beliefs and address any concerns people like /u/theambivalentrooster have, there wouldn't be such animosity between TRP and BPers!

I don't agree with them, but if you don't then engage with them rather than just insulting them. I've said it before and I'll say it again - internet debates aren't for either participant, they're for third party readers. Let's say someone comes along unsure of what the red pill is and wanting to know more. But not every mental illness is the same. They are all different illnesses that require different treatments, but of course that's too complex than pretending that they are all the same. I didn't say it was too complex. I agree they are completely different disorders, and was comparing the two because they are both mental illnesses classed as dysphorias. You said it yourself, they require different treatments - I'm saying we should do more research into treatments for GD, so that we may be bette…

Based on what? On hersic chromosomes? ...Yes? Why not based on hersic name, appearance, gender identity and overall vibe? Name is completely irrelevant in this topic of conversation. As is appearance. Gender dysphoria is a mental disorder, we don't go around telling people with schitzophrenia that their hallucinations are real. Overall vibe? I mean come on, you seriously expect someone to debate "overall vibe"? Why should hersic chromosomes matter more than the traits that society can actually p…
