Hmm... good point. Always saw MGTOW as an concept, so never really thought there'll be any specific goals for it. After all, everybody's way will differ. I guess if there's a guideline I follow, it's something like this: Live life the way you want; to the best of your ability. And be a better person than yesterday.

I used to collect a whole lot of crap. Am clearing them bit by bit ever since I took the pill.

I suggest you attend some boxing classes first to get your form down. Who knows, you may decide to forgo buying the bag and just train at the club.

Seems like the guy isn't sexually promiscuous, I think it's reasonable for him to expect the same of his wife.

I want a soul mate, but I know that's just a fantasy. Anyways, work on being the best version of yourself (emotionally, physically, morally etc) and look for a man that's doing the same. Easier said than done, unfortunately.

Honestly, MMA replaced gaming for me. Only reason I play LoL now is just to hang out with my buddies and that's about an hour on days that I do play. Need my 8 hours of sleep or I won't be able to get through the day.

The way I see it: Be the best of yourself. Eat right, work out to be in your best health. Read, meditate, think to keep your mind at its sharpest. Pursue your passion to keep your soul burning at its brightest. You'll probably need money to do all that so... Work hard, work smart, keep a look out for opportunities to maximize your finances.

I do think that training for a good physique is a good thing; self-improvement (health and aesthetics) and all, and it requires discipline to upkeep. The reason may be shallow, but that's their path. Personally, I dislike training just for the aesthetic reasons and hey, turns out martial arts training and a healthier diet helps develop those nice shapes!

I think it went down alright, unless you were intending to stay in contact as friends.

Cutting your balls off makes you stronger. Example: Dongfang Bubai.

I think video gaming can be a good hobby, but not if you are going to do it mindlessly (this genre dependent I guess). If you are the type to FAQ everything, then drop it. If you enjoy thinking up strategies and solving the problems, then go ahead and spend some time. It's a good brain work out, just don't overdo it. Personally, I try to limit myself to about 5 hours a week (max). I do about an hour of gaming a day, and deduct that from the 5 hours.

I'm not even sure about this one but it felt right for this thread. I had a cousin* who's on a job assignment near my area. We held hands when we went out (she initiated). She asked me why I didn't introduce her as my girlfriend to my friends And the one time she came over to my place, she lied down on my bed and asked me to join her. She's not a real cousin, a daughter of my mother's friend. It's just that my parents kept telling me she's my cousin for some reason. I didn't do shit because she'…

I'm in a similar situation as you. My friend is really stubborn as hell, even though I've given him advice on other things which he ignored and got himself burned. Still, as a friend, I just told him to think it through and hope for the best. Nothing pushy though. I just told him that it's great that he think she's the one. But, as a friend, I'll play the Devil's Advocate as this is an important life decision.

A few of you guys mentioned about meeting her if I can maintain frame? I doubt it. I'm still too inexperienced. Sure, my mindset is pretty clear that I don't want friendship and I know I won't contract oneitis anymore. And I can present a calm and cordial demeanor, but I will probably not be able to identify and respond properly to her attempts at reframing.

Friendship is definitely out of the question, I am clear with myself on that. I'm not sure if amicable is the right word. After the rejection, I did try for a short period to remain friends. When I realize that it's impossible for me, I did a pretty abrupt cut off. You were NOT her first romantic choice, that is for sure. So it certainly is not love, because love does not work on this kind of path "I rejected him, because he did not arouse me, but when he did not want to be my friend, now sudden…

I didn't realize the creep factor. Thanks for pointing this out. And I admit that I had a severe case of oneitis on this girl. It took me a couple of years to get out of the depression stage.

Don't forget that there are levels to MGTOW. The main difference between RP and MGTOW is how active they are in pursuing for sex. Both seek self-improvement, which differs from person to person. Personally, I do think that self-improvement includes learning how to deal with women. Btw OP, I do think you should've posted this over at /r/MGTOW

Awesome, I've just recently started on this path myself (ok, maybe not so recent, about half a year now). Here's a little tip from Shaun T that I follow (1:17 onwards): Any day where you don't feel like doing it, do something light to get your body moving. And it'll lead to a full workout. In my case, I dance to a song or do some punches/sword swings to eventually transition into my intended full workout.

In a nutshell, I am a virgin that was looking for the one true love and when I realize that it's not going to happen, I decided to move on and improve on myself. The only reason why I consider myself more of a MGTOW subscriber instead of TRP is that I'm not improving myself to get laid.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
