This is a mistake a lot of people do, socialized to have this notion of closure, they set up their own deaths, without even knowing. Block and delete. I personally use an inconspicuous small paper cover notebook (think field notes) that I can easily hide and move around, or even rip the pages off and fold them to keep safe somewhere no one would think that there is anything there in the first place. NOT a calendar or something that is clearly meant to be a notebook. NOT a diary. Or if you are a bit lazy, you can use the notes app on your phone, as long as it has not the option to sync with any account.
