1	Why Desperation is Self-Perpetuating [Primer] You bring up a really good point. It's a catch-22: if you're happy being single, there's no reason to be in a relationship, and if you're looking for a relationship, you won't have much success. However, there's a difference between asking a girl out on a date and trying to form a LTR with that girl. Whether your motive is to ask a girl out or to get her in bed also makes a substantial difference in how you come across.
