It's not rape that we don't display for thepublic, it's ethnicity. The last report was from 2005, which showed some pretty severe overrepresenation.

This is what i dread... That one day ill be standing infront of people talking about -real- rape.. After hearing them talk about how a consentual encounter that they regreated counts as "rape"... The day you have a knife to your throat and someone threatening to kill you if you dare even mention what happened all those times, that if you ever talked about it you'd be locked up in a jailcell and get "marks" on you that employers / future girlfriends can see by a simple google search. Getting beat…

warning, huge rant, brace yourself for angry person Ok, so what i dont get is, why would someone who hits their wife or children call that number? Now im getting personal, yet again, without a throwaway, and its oneday going to bite me in the ass but whatever. My abuser would never call such a number, why? because she thought it was right, because in her own words " You deserve this". Ive gone through multiple studies about these things, my fiancee is a behavioural sience major and neither I nor…

Keep doing you man. The thing is i'm trying, sorry but about to go on a complete tangent here and youre free to just ignore it if you want (think of it as venting, i dont know) Im so sick and tired of being what i am, society makes men like me (jobless, educationless, friendless, social outcast) as the bottom of the barrel. Constantly im showed that people like me dont matter. I dont matter, because my gender is 'definied' by success. And im unsuccessful. Do you know how scared shitless i am tha…

This is whats wrong with the current state that the world functions in. -everyone- thinks men enjoy sex, even when they're not consenting. Those few of us whom had the opportunity misfortune of experience an assault, know that its not 'fun' to have no control over your body and have something taken from you. Getting told that we're 'faggots' cause we didn't enjoy getting sodomoized or drugged is wrong. We dont call female rape victims 'faggots' or tell them they "wanted it", if we do we get call…

Repeat for a duration of 3-4 months and you struggle to keep that normal level because you can never push yourself. Im going to be vague here, as i never got the opportunity for the draft (personal reasoning, got questioned by the 'draftplace' therapist about it, anyways, back to the point) and this scares me. You guys/gals are supposed to be the backbone, the bulwark that defends the country. The shining steel of a swinging blade, torment and fury in all its form. Yet you're being handicapped b…

The only pronouns ill ever use is He/she stuff, if a person is transgendered, ill agree to that. But the moment someone demands i call them something ike xe or zir (in sweden we have 'hen' which is a combination of Han (him) and Hon (her), basically a combo of it to gender neutralize it, hate people who use it, always seems to come from pompous people as well.), God dammit, seriously cant understand what sort of special snowflake superiority 'the universe better tailor itself to me' bullshit thi…

Would actually love hearing a recording of someone (preferably someone who can act the part) of a battered and bruised man, calling the number and saying they get beaten daily, harassed and emotionally abused. Telling them how their wife is threatening to call the police on him, threatening to lie about rape and abusing the child. Seriously, would love to hear their response on someone crying on the other end... Wonder if things would change. "I know its about behavioural change, but i dont have…

While i dont think its as massive as the /r/feminism claims it to be, I have to agree that there are some people really turning to woman hating. Now dont get me wrong, i think /r/feminism is just a big hugbox/echo chamber of idology, i dislike the extremist as much as the other person. But some are taking these anti-feminist beliefs and spraying them on every female out there, kinda like the witch trials. Im all for darker sides of jokes. Im actually totally fine with it. Hell even i've joked about ^ those kind of things. But when its Ok for one part but not ok for the other, is really messed up. One side isn't 'holier then thy' and should never be touched -ever- because they're precious diamonds while the other side is just expendable waste. Thats not how the world works. I know plenty more 'male rape jokes' than i do female ones. Why? Because its on the Telly. Same goes with male domestic abuse…

To me its about the irony that you'll get absolutely lynched if you joke about female rape. But male prision rape is a punchline -everywhere- from comedy shows to fucking spongebob. Its "ok" to joke about male rape for some reason. But if you say a word about a female rape you'll end up in the guillotine

I might have gotten a little lost in translation here, what im saying is that support should go to the child, not the parent in need. Here where i live, thankfully, medical welfare is a thing, so stuff isn't extremely expensive (save the 100-150 sek entrance fee thing, whats that? roughly 20-15 dollars maybe?) As per usual when early in the morning, im talking about things ive seen outside the current post (seriouly, shouldn't reddit when drinking coffee.. that shits dangerous yo), from one of t…

Its early morning here, and im on a coffee binge. But, isn't child support money supposed to go.. you know, to the kid? It should have nothing to do with anyones financial status, its money for clothes, toys, food, medical expenses towards the kid, right? Sooo.. Those females skipping out because 'they struggle' feel that their own expenses are more important (according to the author) than their childs health and wellbeing? Which is just morbid...

They want you to be aware that shes attractive and youthful. having a 'sex drive', most likely. Anything to put the blame off the woman in question. Rethorically speaking, if a attractive woman wanted to have sex with me (in a situation where i was same aged and not in a relationship, ect) it would be a good thing, right? But if a ratchet hamster beast attempted to incite sexual relations by frolicking around me i'd feel a little uneasy, correct? They want you to think of her as a positive perso…

Fiance has only worked with female managers, and imho ive never heard anyone being so reluctant to any sort of feedback. She worked at alcohol retail (Systembolaget, the goverment owns the alcohol 'industry' in sweden). And her manager was/is the worst person she ever worked under. Well, tbh. I can respect people wanting pronouns, the only problem with them (the pronouns) is that they're often forced upon someone else. Like, say i had a conversation with someone. And i kept, out of habit, calling someone "Him". Totally not in any derogatory way or anything, but instead of me having to realize my mistake and respect that person. Said person freaks out after every wrong pronoun. It would be like.. people saying my name wrong, id laugh it off. :P

and I think there is no consensus that feminism was ever really needed Mostly talking about the extreme cases, The rougher middle eastern countries with their Shria laws. (Though, technically speaking its more of a "fix your damn religion" - deal) or some african nations. But thats cherry picking. Even though I personally think they have need of "egalitarian" aid. Not the third wave feminist stuff. Its a hard topic to describe due to the heavy-ness that comes with the word feminism.

Breakdown, (and a early, pre coffee, bad one at that.) MRM: Mens rights movement, a movement for equal treatment for genders (as i get it, we talk about both issues and care about both genders issues, but -we- take mens issues to the table when gender is being discussed and mens issues are the ones being "put aside"), educating people about the wage gap, suicide rates, custody battles, domestic abuse and other instances where men get left out because "Well, patriarchy" and the harsh reality that…

Skin breaks just as easily whether you're a man or woman. Absolutely it does. But it takes the onlookers to know that already to be able to intervene. They see a more powerful thing attacking a "weak and fragile" thing. Ofcourse they intervene due to how they percieve it. regardless of what causes the situation in the first place. Oh, im sorry, i didn't know women become disgusting ravenous hydras that devour their younglings when you end a courtship with them, shoot! better go get my cats then before they end up in a stew or something...

I agree on your points. As i said i didn't want to go full out attack on them and call them out when they denied things, i wanted to see them deny it cause i knew it was coming. Should have pulled in that woman abuse their children more then men statistic when one of them mentioned "Were more nurturing" if i had the guts for it...

You were not low key. Dammit, was my cover that bad? :( anyways, really tried getting my point across to some of them, sure most of them were good sports and called "true" on some of the statements, but the fact that they refused to call them privileges just hurt. I swear i went to bed last night after reading some of those comments and i was actually questioning if i was one of those "horrible rapist people who offend people by liking when someone smiles" Seriously had a bad time sleeping cause…

I actually sent the list of "female privileges" to the askfeminists subreddit And got these responses I tried to play low key and see what they all thought, most of them straight up denied them being "privileges" and called them "advantages" instead. Which sounded just down right retarded, One of them semi-bashed me for telling her what happened to me but "It wasn't legal so it dosn't count"

My head started turning on that as well, kinda sounded like masculinity was/is the root of all evil or something.

I'd love to see this x-posted on the feminism board. Not as an insult but just to get their viewpoint on this. Edit: x-posted this to /r/AskFeminists to see what they thought about it, ready for the banhammer... Edit#2 : some really good response has come around, one really extreme and two-three actually insigtful responses. check it out! :)

How dare you question womens motive when under a lot of stress! Dont you understand the pressure they're under by being the single mother and having a husband who is abroad most of the year? She never meant to kill them! She was signaling for help! /s

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
