Over the past few decades in the West, has the experience of people with unattractive faces become more or less difficult?Almost all Americans are white. Fucking what? And if the man in question is not White? | /r/PurplePillDebate | 29/06/19 11:47 PM
Going to the gym and lifting is probably the most overrated advice in attracting womenI only responded in kind to him calling me "autistic". | /r/PurplePillDebate | 29/06/19 11:47 PM
Over the past few decades in the West, has the experience of people with unattractive faces become more or less difficult? If ugly men need to do that now, then surely you agree with me that dating has grown more difficult for ugly men. Plus, that strategy only works if you're white. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 29/06/19 10:41 PM

Over the past few decades in the West, has the experience of people with unattractive faces become more or less difficult?More difficult for ugly men and less difficult for ugly women. For men they're competing with way more men than other before, online dating has changed the game and the sexual revolution has led to an increased rate of celibacy for men and a lowered celibacy rate for women. Meanwhile for ugly women they're one Tinder swipe away from a very handsome looking guy, why settle for less? At worst they'll have to settle with and average or above average looking man, never worse than that however. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 29/06/19 10:18 PM
CMV: For men, worthwhile relationships exist but they are so rare that actively looking for one is NOT worth the effort. No one is asking you to be personally invested in his choice not to date women, he's generating discussion on the topic of whether or not relationships are worth it in general. You're on a debate subreddit, it really shouldn't be rocket science the topic doesn't revolve around you or I, this isn't /r/AmItheAsshole . And I understand why he would want to have this debate, after all, society does pretend as though everyone should want to cuff up to another person, but that's not everyone's cup of … | /r/PurplePillDebate | 29/06/19 10:11 PM

Going to the gym and lifting is probably the most overrated advice in attracting womenMaybe if you're running at a pace of 7mph for one full hour, which I doubt any overweight people can do. And that's not going to cause significant weight loss over time if your diet doesn't change. Continuing to eat like a pig while hitting the treadmill for an hour isn't going to change anything, you're better off just adjusting your diet in the first place. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 29/06/19 10:06 PM
Going to the gym and lifting is probably the most overrated advice in attracting womenI'm not talking about what works for getting into peak fitness, i'm talking about what works for just losing weight. Next to no guys need to look like an athlete to get laid, if you're giving advice to a fat person the highest priority is losing weight. Advising them to try and hit the gym is only going to make them way less likely to lose their weight. Diet is all that matters for fatties to lose their weight. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 29/06/19 09:57 PM
Going to the gym and lifting is probably the most overrated advice in attracting womenThat's not skinny then you fucking numbskull, that's called being fat. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 29/06/19 09:54 PM
Going to the gym and lifting is probably the most overrated advice in attracting womenAnyway, I think that "going to the gym" is often kind of a shorthand for not only actually going to the gym, but also an overall approach to life that would include diet. Associating diet with the gym makes it impossible for many to even want to lose weight. It's a thousand times easier to manage your diet than it is to head to the gym, it's better and way easier to develop better eating habits than it is to establish a gym routine (Especially if you don't have the money to hire a personal train… | /r/PurplePillDebate | 29/06/19 03:51 PM
Going to the gym and lifting is probably the most overrated advice in attracting womenIf you're telling people to lose weight though it's not smart to tell everyone to hit the gym. If you're talking to a skinny guy whose body looks unattractive then yeah, tell them to hit the gym and start eating a bit more. But telling fatties to lose weight by just hitting the gym is confusing and doesn't really tell them what they actually need to do, which is change their diet habits. The gym is nigh-useless for losing weight and only discourages the fatties who don't have the motivation or e… | /r/PurplePillDebate | 29/06/19 03:45 PM
Going to the gym and lifting is probably the most overrated advice in attracting womenI hate this idea that "fat people should just go to the gym". Fat people should just stop stuffing their fucking face. When you're downing 4000 calories a day, going to the gym isn't gonna save your fat ass, running on a treadmill for 3 hours isn't gonna help either, the amount of calories burned going to the gym is miniscule compared to your TDEE. The diet needs to change first and foremost and the gym is irrelevant to that. It's useless advice and only makes guys more likely to fatten up becau… | /r/PurplePillDebate | 29/06/19 01:11 PM
Going to the gym and lifting is probably the most overrated advice in attracting women"look good" is the keyword. Being fit has little to do with that, being slim, maybe, but being slim isn't about going to the gym, it's about eating correctly. It's a personal pet peeve I have with society that people think going to the gym is synonymous with losing weight, when in reality you're not burning that much calories by running on the treadmill for an hour, the real change needs to come from diet, the gym is next to useless. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 29/06/19 12:58 PM
