You cite that herpes is widespread as part of your reasoning to support it being OK, however is Herp widespread because of the fact that many people go along carrying it while being asymptomatic? 1	TRP with STD's? I have HSV-2 (genital), it was apparent because 2 large red "spots" appeared on the glans penis. However the virus can enter through the mouth either when I was kissing her or when I went down on her, it's not a hard-fast rule because it travels within the body while HSV-type 2 typically affects the genital area (genital herpes)... both viral types can cause either genital or oral infections. It's not completely her fault (she does get tested frequently), but she's still at fault for getting it somehow and I'm still at fault for having sex (I guess...)
