It does seem cool that feminism might be challenged by a significant political party to me as well. The thing that bothered me was just that there's a lot of unacknowledged content in this article, and it's simply linked here with the title "Progress." Maybe part of this is a positive step, but there are other things about the AfD party that need to be discussed, and I just don't won't people to overlook those things, or for the MRM to be associated with that.

As an American in Germany, although I can't say I'm the most well versed in German politics (there are so many political parties!), I'd be a little hesitant to praise the AfD Party. AfD seems all too happy to strike up controversial topics, which isn't bad in itself. After all, feminism, men's rights, gay rights, etc are important to discuss. This is a cool decision reversal. Judging from the quotes from the boy in the story, he seems fully aware of why some kids would react negatively. You can't stop teasing among kids, but the physical violence can't be excused. That must've been hard for the boy in the beginning -- getting beat up on, and the result was that he couldn't bring his "bullying trigger" to school.

Honestly, how can we even tell that the comments are for real? They all seem too ridiculous. Maybe there are a few biting, but I mean, there's a comment from freaking "Eva Braun" there. Somehow, egging on this sort of satire and then laughing at the supposed feminist responses makes me feel a little uneasy. Not a fan of the polarization between MRA and feminists.

As far as I can remember, this isn't really a new thing. I don't know how men in general feel about male objectification in the media, but this doesn't bother me personally. I am gay though, so I might be biased.
