I remember in my highschool years, a woman's refuge worker came around to do a presentation on her work and receive a cheque from us. 1	Science. The Y chromosome is smaller and twisted so crossing over doesn't occur between the sex chromosomes and cause genetic weirdness. And besides, the vast majority of chromosomal DNA is practically filler or non-translating/transcribing, or just non-coding.
