What a terrible article. Men can generally be trusted to act in their own best interests to the same degree as women can. The subtext that nobody in the media seems to address is that women and men often have very different incentives when it comes to pregnancy. Given the way the courts extract outrageous payments from fathers, often reducing them to poverty, I imagine that men would be far more trustworthy when it came to contraception (assuming it becomes available.)

Actually a manager in aerospace (for a pretty big company.) And I make sure that the people who do their job get their bonuses. I'm not against success stories or happy endings, but I find that having people focused on problems is more productive (at least for the type of engineers I deal with.) Also there are always problems, there aren't always happy stories (unless you count jets not dropping from the sky as a happy story, then we have those all the time.)
